Milan still interested in signing Musah but Valencia demand €25m, agreement with the player already in hand

Yunus Musah remains the top target for midfield but Milan refuse to meet Valencia’s asking price.

Milan have already signed Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders and Noah Okafor, while Samuel Chukwueze will travel to Milano today and have his medical this week. However, they are still not done in the transfer market.

The Rossoneri would like to add at least one more midfielder to the squad, and as reported by Milannews.it, 20-year-old Yunus Musah from Valencia remains at the top of Milan’s wish-list.

An agreement with the player has been in place for weeks but reaching a deal with Valencia proves to be difficult and will take time. As reported by Cadena SER in Spain, after their €14m bid got rejected, Milan made a new €18m bid for the player, but Valencia turned it down again, as they demand €25m.

Valencia, and President Peter Lim, hope that Milan will make an improved offer and reach their evaluation, or that another club will come in and offer what they deem needed to take Musah. It remains to be seen what Milan will do as they can either wait for Valencia to drop their demands, raise the bid again, or focus on another target to reinforce the midfield of Pioli.

Musah, who plays for the United States national team, has a European passport, so he doesn’t count as a non-EU player.

I don’t see RLC, Krunic as starters. Maybe Pobega will have a great season, but currently can’t see that either. We have Reijnders and Bennacer, latter being unavailable until 2024. We need proven players, not Musah.

Use de Katelare to get Koopmeiners and maybe Dominguez, since his contract runs until 2024. Otherwise, there will be a huge disconnection between our amazing defense and attack.

I whole heartedly believe RLC would be a starter
