Jordan Veretout is too expensive for Milan, according to reports.
Milan have been chasing Veretout for a while and have numerous meetings with his agent, Mario Giuffredi, as they are looking to reinforce Giampaolo’s midfield.
However, according to Milannews.it and Sky Italia, Fiorentina are asking for €25 million for the 26-year-old and that’s more than what Milan are willing to pay for a player of Veretout’s quality and age.
Roma, meanwhile, are also interested in the Viola man, and after making some inquires in the last few days, they are ready to meet with Giuffredi on Monday, reports Di Marzio. It is said that Veretout is the number one target for the midfield of the Giallorossi, who finished in 6th place last season.
The Diavolo seem unwilling to spend more than €20m for Veretout and are currently in standby, waiting to see if Fiorentina will lower their demands. Updates are expected in the next days.
Who can Milan afford these days?

Sell our dead woods quickly
Ceballos,Torrera,Anderson should our prime target….1 of Veretout n Sensi will be appritiated.
I agree with you zahid Hossain. Ceballos, Anderson and Torreira should be the primary target at all cost. Then veretout or kovacic ( kovacic preferable) or even wonder kid Tonali; now that sensi is almost an inter player. If we intend keeping Suso , cutrone can go on loan. Cash-in on Kessi, castellejo, laxalt , biglia and calhnoglu. We hope bona will return sooner
