Gianluigi Donnarumma and his agent Mino Raiola didn’t find an agreement with Milan, the club announced.
Loyalty is very rare in football nowadays, and Milan fans received a glaring evidence of it today as it was officially confirmed that Donnarumma will not be signing a new contract with the Rossoneri.
The agent of Donnarumma, Mino Raiola, was at Casa Milan today (Thursday) for a meeting with Marco Fassone (he didn’t want to meet Massimiliano Mirabelli). After the brief encounter, the CEO called a press conference to announce the decision of Gianluigi.
“I preferred rather than to release a statement, considering the focus on the so-called Donnarumma case, that I would update you immediately on the meeting I just had a few minutes ago with Mino Raiola,” Fassone said at the start of the presser which was broadcasted live on Facebook.
“Raiola informed us that Donnarumma has made a definitive decision not to renew the contract with Milan. It is a definitive decision, made by the player. I want to remind you all that 10 days ago Mirabelli made a very important proposal to the player, one even stronger than the reports that appeared in the various papers. The player evaluated it and made some evaluations that were not just economic, but also technical and professional, and he told us that he does not wish to renew the contract, so his time with Milan will therefore conclude by June 30, 2018.
“We were taken by surprise, as we had confidently hoped Donnarumma would be the keeper taking Milan into the future that we could build the team around. We trust we can do our best. Naturally, the decision leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, but now we have to go forward and Milan go forward.”

Sky Italia’s Peppe Di Stefano reports that Milan’s offer to Donnarumma was a five-year contract worth almost €5 million a season. It now remains to be seen whether the player will leave this summer or be kept by the Diavolo and spend the entire next season in the stands until his deal expires.
Sportitalia claims that Real Madrid are interested in the 18-year-old and are offering him €6m per season while PSG could also be an option. Milan did everything to keep him, but are now forced to buy a goalkeeper in this transfer market. It’s early to point at names but it will be interesting to see whether Fassone and Mirabelli decide to go with a veteran goalkeeper for next season until the highly-rated 17-year-old Alessandro Plizzari is ready to take over and be Milan’s #1.
Donnarumma said in the past that he wants to be a Milan legend and kissed the badge on numerous occasions. But when it was time to back it up with real actions, he showed his true coolers.

Very disappointing news….. The fella is a great keeper because of the potential at such an age…… This season with a mediocre team we needed a great keeper….. Next season with the team we are building we can more then win seria A with a (good keeper) forever AC Milan from Trinidad!
Hmmm, this same guy came out last week and said himself and his family were looking for a house in MILAN… MILAN is his home and he’ll never leave… Fast forward a week after, he says he no longer wants to be a part of MILAN…. Wow wow wow… I SAY, SELL HIM TO JUVE, INTER, MADRID, PSG OR ANYONE AT ALL, this he did will forever live with him, he’s a SCUM for deceiving MILAN and MILAN FANS.. The club is greater than him, so are we the FANS…. Ibra being the superstar that he is still talks about… Read more »
He disgraced our club that liar he is like a gypsy to me
What’s wrong with gypsies?
… and now the saga continues, reports says Dollarumma wants only Real Madrid.
Fasobelli just let this judas scum go, heck trade him for James Rodriguez. I believe Real would accept the offer in a blink!!!
Pls put this whole s***show to rest. I cant stand seeing this club honor and pride being tossed like a ragdoll by some greedy agents and players. What a shame if u ask me for a club as big and historical as Milan…
FORZA MILAN PER SEMPRE
Remember that everything that are bad started with letter d, e.g death, dangerous, diseases, divorce, disgusting, demons, devil,… and Donarumma.
R: Rape, Racist, Rubbish, Reek ….. Rotten Raiola #sigh
Derby d’italia
Eh, divorce is fucking fantastic, man. Happiest day of my life!
lol
for me i think mentally he is not matured though a great keeper anytim he allowed pride to tak him away.i dont think der will ever be a club he wil enjoy lik milan.wish him d very best.kudoz to our legend maldini he also played his own role in dis issue.
I feel sorry for you Donnarumma. You could have been our legend and you dropped it all because of some filthy money? I don’t wish you luck wherever you go, and hope that you are going to regret this one day! by now
#OblakToMilan #ForgetDollarumma
Something goes wrong here: 18 yo, offered a generous contract from the club you love since kid (+arm brand, the chance to become a legend like Paolo, Franco, Francesco etc), the club that made you what you are now by showing faith to you, a worldwide top club, that you have declared your love, affection and faith numerous times since last month and so many other things and actions (kissing the badge etc), BUT you remain silent lately and in the end you send a pizza man to turn down that “once in a life” chance to be the leader of… Read more »
Understandably we are shocked, angry & speechless but what happened has happened. Milan must immediately look beyond this unexpected setback & move forward calmly & confidently esp as we now have money. I commend Fassone for his professionalism. Now going forward. First, sell Donarunmma immediately, Milan never keep players against their wish. Secondly, this should serves as motivation for Fassone & Mirabelli to continue strengthen the team. Negotiations for Conti and Belotti have become more important now and shall be concluded soonest and build the new Milan with core Italians: conti, ramagnoli, Buenaventura and belotti. Milan is too big to… Read more »
His brother-in-law teeeted then quickly deleted the tweet calling us a club of clowns!!!!!!! Lol
Now we’re seeing this kids pattern and the people closest to him. Maybe it’s not all that fat blimps fault after all. This kid’s our very own Judas.
Dollarroma is certainly correct nickname for him.
This wasn’t a suprise to me . I known for a long time that he didn’t love ac milan and that he was a judas .
Now let clubs pay 60mil or spend a year on the stands then fuc off to anywhere he wishes. We would survive .Hes no way irreplaceable. Idiot.
Mino Raiolas brother said last year that Donnarumma is worth €170 million.
So, get us 170 million and he can leave. Otherwise, he can spend a year playing with the other kids…
I would LOVE to see him on a year-long loan at Monza or another farmer club.
Milan will move on… The Diavolo will Roar …a piece of SHIT Dollarumma will never be seen the same way again by anybody!!!
Please bring Norberto Neto in….Forza Milan!!!
Sell him as expensive as possible and use the money to get Belotti!
50jt pound angkut, klo ngga bekukan ampe busuk..
Remember that san siro cake on donna’s birthday smh
I don’t think Donna is greedy. He just want to have the best option for him. He wants to play in champion league which he doubts Milan can guarantee that next season. Milan might be best get 3 or 4 top next season. Juve, Roma and Napoli are still very strong. Montella who got new contract, is also not a qualified CL coach. Raiola is the greedy one who wants to sell Donna now. When Donna get new contract in 2018 with other team or even with Milan again, Raiola will not get as many as if Donna being sold… Read more »
Are u costacurta?
I agree with agustinar on the point that, we don’t have a CL spot guaranteed next season.
With a disjointed squad, the next season could go like shinter’s season was in the last season.
Thank you man
he is only 18….you want to say that milan will not play CL in 2-3 years? he is greedy bastard, shame on him and fat twat raiola
I mean Donna wants to play in a very competitive CL team in 2-3 years. Milan can not give that. Milan is still disjointed. Not like Juve who got Pirlo as the missing link
Just shut up agustinar and u too ink, this is far beyond what u think
This is not about champion league spot, he is tottaly disrespect a club like milan, i have no idea 18 years old kid turn down importan offer from one of the most succesfull club in the world..this is tottaly crazy..!!
I think he respects Milan in his own way. He made this decision now before transfer open so Milan have enough time to sell him or buy another 1st Gk. I believe he is still professional being as 2nd Gk if Milan not selling him.
You’re just a snake like Dollaruma. Buffon went through hell and back with Juventus. Could have easily left for a UCL team during the Calciopoli scandal. He was at his peak then and had just lifted the World Cup trophy. Still stayed with them in relegation and look where Buffon is. Maldini, Baresi etc. all experienced hard times in our former drop from glory at the beginning of the century. They all still believed in this club. Point is… if you’re bringing professionalism into this then don’t involve emotions. Don’t kiss the badge and say you want to die in… Read more »
Yeah Buffon, what a loyal lad. Stayed with Parma thru thick n thin. Didnt grab the chance to go to a direct rival. Buffon is so loyal, Parma went bankrupt other Parma legends have tried to help while Buffon sits on his @ss
Good luck Donnarumma and thank you for the past two seasons.
He doesn’t deserve abuse on blogs, people. His career, he can do whatever he wants to do with it.
And we should not forget his contributions in the past two seasons, are we full of a fanbase of people who have short-term memories?
Just let him go in peace. Many reasons could have played in this decision.
He will be a Milan product nonetheless.
Vote for Perin
eat that dislike vote…
Yum.
Also, smells like burnt plastic.
I agree
Listen mate, the issue here is not that it is Donna’s career etc. Yes he can choose to do what he wants, but it is the way he has conducted himself and the way he has treated this club – the same club that made him what he is today! Now sure players that have grown up in one teams primavera can go somewhere else but the way Donna and Raiola (who has ruined football anyway) has handled this has been disgusting and a proper middle finger to milan! To go out and say all those things about loving Milan… Read more »
He still young, and many highrated young goalkeeper didn’t shine and turned into world class goalkeeper. I hope he would be one who fail to his full potential…
I don’t think any of u r right cos look at the great Buffon ,he stayed with juventus even wen they were relegated to seria b,if a player like forsberg wud want to gibe up champions league place to join a club then where is the love donnarumma so much claim to have for Milan ,if u truelly love and want something it does not matter the positions after all there r still good players in Crotone who may not play champions league in many seasons to come, forget guys donnarumma allowed pride and feeling to important get to his head….plsss… Read more »
Nobody’s indispensable. But it’s important he’s not sold for anything less than €50million. I’m sick of Fester’s rock-bottom give-aways. Let’s hope Fassobelli restore some stubborn f**kin’ pride in the world’s greatest club.
I think the back 4 is key next season. How they communicate and work together will dictate what sort of a campaign we have. I notice with my international team that a cohesive defence (not all top division players) often generates extra composure in otherwise mediocre ‘keepers (maybe English Championship standard).
It’s crucial that Musacchio and Rodriguez find their feet. Plizzari is definitely worth fielding in my opinion.
Donnaromma is young. He has been given all these opportunities by Milan. I think he owed Milan a renewal. He has plenty of years ahead of him,by renewing. It could have been a gesture to show gratitude. If things don’t work than he could have had a clause which allowed him to be sold after 3 years. I am very Disappointed.
Riaola is a dog and Donna is his u Knw Wht,man this isn’t shocking when it came to the point that there was a deadline, now we shuldnt sell him keep him at Milan for the year,
That wuld be the best freaking thing,
Let him go. He didnt deserve a club like Milan. Most importantly, ban that bastard Raiola from Milan. Board has to act quickly to get rid of that ugly pathetic vulture. Otherwise, same situation can arise for Bonaventura and Abate.
donnarumma was to be on the nominee’s list of world best goalkeeper and he feels is real madrid in Spain that can give home that…plsss let’s dust this off and part ways peacefully but if donnarumma see this he shud know that he has broken lots of hearts and left many fans disappointed
Let Plizzari be the new number 1 keeper.Im very shocked about his decision thought he was buying a house in Milan for all his family.Maldini was right there’s no more sense of belonging when it comes to our players.
I don’t generally write on this blog but keep Reading it to get updates. But this has completely incensed me and I couldn’t hold back but write to vent out my anger, hate and frustration. Let Donna go to hell or wherever he wants, he will never be protected the way he was at Milan. And I sure as hell hope that we meet in UCL and put a few past him in a hostile San siro so he gets a true feel of what Milan is in full fury. We should just continue our work in the mercato and build… Read more »
Comment: The scout who discovered Gigio Donnarumma isn’t surprised by his contract bust-up with AC Milan. Mino Raiola, the goalkeeper’s agent, has informed Milan he won’t be renewing his contract, which expires in 2018. “I might come off as unpleasant to some, but I was one of the very few people who saw this coming,” Giocondo Martorelli told TMW Radio. “Knowing various situations, at Milan before and also after, it’s not surprising that Donnarumma won’t renew the contract. It’s a problem that needs to be tracked down to the start to understand who is responsible for reaching this point a… Read more »
Mino doesn’t like good project,he prefers money to player development.donna was deceived by that scumbag bag just like he did to pogba
I REALLY want to enjoy when this bitch join Real Madrid, make a lot of errors, and booed by his own fans!!!
AC MILAN is more than a FOOTBALL club we are FAMILY!!!…none even in england is as GREAT!…do u know what it means to wear that jersey? we are not known for breeding mercenaries….we are known for HUMILITY and LOYALTY…..we gave this kid a chance at 16!!!!! no club in this universe will not even the lowest league division….mehnnn….he has BETRAYED us…..wish him well???? he rather die in a plane crash….”never bite the hands that fed u”…..if ur father gives u a million today and u make a trillion u dont turn around and tell him u dont need him anymore… Read more »
ROSSI, DIDA,ABBIATE are champions, worldcup winners…did u ever read or hear where they tell milan that they want to earn as much as…lets say MALDINI who as of then in his prime will never tell milan he wants “3m/year” and that he won’t renew
Messi stuck with barca even wen he was the world BEST player around as at 18yrs and chelsea came with millions and look at him today “IBRAHIMOVIC” can never beat that! That is wHat HUMILITY and LOYALTY can bring u! #greatness
10mg of Ativan pls
Dunno hmmm seriously milan had been stab by this so call guy.
i wish him all the best, pilzaro will surely be better that him all the guy need is playing time and for abiati to build confident in him. malllllllanoooo 4life
I never liked the so called pizza boy raiola, I’m sure he hate that nickname and hate milan legends who named him pizza boy. You are not more than greedy filthy cheap man with no morals or feelings who only see his clients as cows need to be milked, big teams must team together against agents like you and never do business with you to put you out of business. and milan must only sell donna to a team outside of italy for high price and for a contract not less than 5 years ( with condition not to be… Read more »
Wow. Just wow. Sell him for a lot of money, and if to Real Madrid do a trade for James. I hope in two years we face him in the champions league and he flops getting scored on left and right. What a con man.
Promote plizari forget him now
let him Rot on the bench or renew contract. A year out of action would be damaging to his prospect.
