ADEM LJAJIC has a 5-year deal agreed with Milan and it seems that M’Baye Niang will pay the price if the Serb arrives.
It’s no longer a secret that Milan want to sign Adem Ljajic from Fiorentina this summer. The 21-year-old second striker has one year remaining on his Viola deal and Milan are set to take advantage of this situation and have already made a bid.
The Rossoneri have offered €8 million (plus bonuses) for Ljajic but Fiorentina are demanding a figure closer to €12 mil. Future talks will be held next week between Fiorentina and Ljajic’s agent and it seems likely that he will be put to sale.

In case of a sale it’s clear who Ljajic has in mind – Milan and according to Sky Sport 24, his Milan terms have already been agreed: if Ljajic comes, he’ll sign a 5-year contract worth just above €2 million per season. This amount is much more than what Fior are willing to give the player in case of a renewal. Tottenham approached the player but he reportedly rejected it.
Meanwhile, Milan and Genoa are negotiating over 50% of M’Baye Niang who will move if Ljajic arrives. Sky reports that Genoa are trying to include 50% of Juraj Kucka in the deal but Milan aren’t convinced. The negotiations continue.

I think this is a good deal. While I agree with you that our defense does need reinforcements, Galliani doesn’t think there is anyone suitable out there right now. Ljajic is an awesome replacement for Niang this season. Niang needs to go to a smaller team that will give him time to grow. Milan won’t offer anymore time to a player who has missed so many chances. Niang going on loan would be good for him and Milan. Ljajic is an awesome replacement because he played much better than Jovetic last season.
yes you are absoluetly correct but after 2 seasons i think there wont be any robinho or pazzo,so then they will be replaced by petagna,kinsley and hopefully niang….in future we wont be needing any attacking player and then a classy cm will arrive i think it will be veratti or the dutch who joined roma this season(actually forgot his name(lol))…and i wish by the february a cb will join too and he will not be medicore…will be a good one but for that to happen we need our medicores(traore,anonini,bonera,amelia,zaccardo) to be trashed and boa,noce to be sold

Ljajic is excellent player any day but just the surplus for Milan as we have SES. I agree with you that only 3 shadow-attackers with 4-2-3-1 will suit him… even then where is the place for Saponara if both Honda and Ljajic play, we can’t drop SES & Balo. It is really shame to let him go, too.

For those complaining that galliani is clueless, if you think the Milan bosses don’t realize we need reinforcements in the defense, then YOU are the ones who are clueless. Do you really think galliani isn’t working on getting a CB behind the scenes?

We actually need reinforcements in all the areas regardless of what formations we will play in next season! 1-We need a good goalkeeper to get rid of Amelia; 2- We need a world-class CB and I believe he will be Galliani’s deadline signing! 3-In midfield we need a playmaker and Honda should be it! 4-In attacks we only have 4 men in Balo, SES, Pazzini and Petagna but Pazz is out injured so it only makes sense to get Ljajic for the CL! You need at least 2 players per position to have a good season. You can’t afford to have 1 injury forcing you to completely change tactics and everything cause 1 position is empty or end up having players out of position. Also Ljajic can play on the Left, Middle, or Right. If we do 4-3-3. We can get so many options. If 4-3-1-2, then we have plenty of midfield options and some creative ones. Milan will loan Niang which is good so he can get more plying time and develop more, Pazzini is still injured , and Robinho, SES and Ljajic are all second strikers , as for Honda and Saponara they are ACM, and finally Balo Pazzini , Petanaga are strikers, so if we get both Honda & Ljajic we just need a good CB and we should be competitive.

Our main issue isn’t really just defense. We get countered due to mistakes in the midfield/attack so many times because we can’t seem to keep possession for too long. Getting quality play makers could actually change that. So far our ONLY players who can actually keep the ball are Balo and Montolivo. The rest get dispossessed before they move a few inches lol. And Boateng is the worst of them all. He’s always trying to stupid fancy flicks and keeps losing the ball and results in counters on us.
Why do we want to loan Niang to Genoa??? That’s how Merkel lost his spot in Milan, even after an impressive season. I want Niang to be different, and to excel in Milan. I hope we get Ljajic, but not sell Niang.
The thing is, if Ljajic comes, I doubt he will get as much playing time as last season. At second striker, there are Ljajic, SES, and Robinho who just extended his contract. At central striker, there are Balotelli, and Pazzini. Do not forget we also have Petagna rising up. Ljajic can play as second striker, trequartista, and wing. He is utility player who can play in many positions. It doesn’t necessary mean he have to play as second striker.

In my opinion, I think we shouldn’t be in a haste to sign Ljajic.. Why not sign Honda, then make use of th players we alread signed. Likes of Poli and Saponara, see what they have to offer first.. So we don’t just waste their talent and throw them on th bench! We can always sign Ljajic in January, as he might not be cup tied maybe.

The biggest problem facing Milan now is quality in depth and that we are fixing gradually. Let me take it one by one. I think we have a “good” squad, but not a “great” squad. If milan want to compete with the likes of barca, madrid, brayen etc.. they need to have a great squad as they will destroy our defence. For milan to have a great squad, they need world class, fast CB! Italian football is known for its great defencivess, so milan should live up to that name and buy world class CB. They should ger vidic on loan with a option to buy, this way if he flops he can go back to united, and also promote Pacifico.
ljajic is a welcome develolment for milan…we need depht to compete in all fronts, i think binho should be given one last chance…and lastly galliani should get 2 excellent CBs then milan will be a formidable force in every competition

Honda, Llajic, and if not a new centre back, even though I would prefer it, signing Luiz Gustavo, it would cap off a great mercato in my eyes… Don’t know how, but it can be done, especially with Galliani. But we shouldn’t give up on Niang, a loan deal or co-ownership is the best option, so he can gain more experience and play with more consistency, and then if he performs well, we can bring him back to us!
I think if we play 4-3-1-2 Honda has to play in midfield, we can’t leave Saponara and Llajic out.
I’d take Perin from Genoa. Give them Amelia in return and Niang on loan for season and they might accept.

I prefer to keep Niang and sell KPB. KPB is overrated, too many unnecessary actions on the pitch and ego maniac. KPB thinks that he is a star player but in fact he is truly a mediocre. Niang is more skilfull than him. Last season, Niang was just bad luck. He hit the post a lot. Niang’s working rate is above KPB.
