MILAN WILL have to fight for the third place in the final matchday after drawing Roma at Stadio San Siro on Sunday evening. The first half was very dynamic with both sides getting decent chances to score, but both goalkeepers – especially Christian Abbiati – looked good and kept the game even. There were, however, some ugly episodes in the first half as Mario Balotelli had to ‘shhh’ the Roma crowd that chanted racist abuses towards him. In the 41′ minute, Balotelli was booked for a foul but Sulley Muntari was not too happy with the decision, holding the referee’s arm and trying to talk to him and preventing him for booking Balo. Gianluca Rocchi wasn’t pleased and sent Muntari off with a direct red to keep Milan in 10 man. The second half was the weaker of the two. The game was stopped three minutes into the second half because of the racist chants coming from the Roma fans. The game resumed quickly but there were not many chances in the second half, although Milan looked better despite being with a man down, and both sides tried to score mainly with shots from distance. The ref added six minutes of stoppage time and in the 92′ minute, Francesco Totti picked up a red card of his own after elbowing Philippe Mexes in Roma’s half. This red card magically erased a minute and Rocchi whistled after five minutes instead. Milan have to beat Siena for the Champions League.

My brains heart again with such a rubbish display…
This ain’t AC Milan!
this is Allegris Milan, get used to
Yes my friend, i believe there is much of Allegri’s fault for that awful football all over the year…
Wtf was muntari thinking…manhandling the ref like that…hope this will not prove costly…
the ref spoilt the game cos i think muntari’s red card was not necessary…but allegri did well to stabilize the team and even mounted pressure even with a man down..its simple and clear..we just have to beat ssiena..thats all
i didnt want it to force us into the last and final day. lets win at seina, mexes is gaining alot of respect for me, and he deserve every penny off his 4m contract, mario needs to let me ball go erlier. zap was good, constant in and out, nothing special from the scig. but abbiati was fantastic, im gonna cry when he retires.
its simple and clear now..we just have to beat siena next week
let just finish the job next week and jump immediately into the transfer market cos we have alot of people to sell and buy
yep, must out
did I forget someone? lol
We can sell Nocerino for about 2 mil and get 1.5 mil profit out of him… Robinho can go, Bonera, Yepes can retire
Now it’s operation beat siena @ any cost
the only substitution I did not like today was Nocerino. Boateng did well and even almost assisted flaming. When Nocerino came one, I honestly did not see him touch the ball once except when he shoot the ball out wide during the last corner
either way im happy we did not lose this game, FORZA MILAN!! We gotta go all in against siena. I would have loved to play against siena with our talents and unused players but well, everything happens for a reason!
Salamon, cristante has to wait till next season!
“happy we didnt lose”
I bet you are Allegris Fan…
Hahhaha lool.you dont know how much I hate this coach, the grudge I holds against him. I hated him even wanted him to get sacked/die or whatever during our scudetto year. There is a difference supporting my beloved team and coach.
what was muntari doing in the first team? And why was boateng in front trio and not in mf? I guess the team just magicaly chooses its self and allegri has nothing to do with it.
again we couldnt won against a medium/good team…
10 mans is not an excuse… remember Milan x Fiorentina….
omg i hate when people bring it up! 2 penalties ffs! give us 2 penalties and mario will convert both, 2-0 stfu already
I don’t understand why players must argue with the ref or try to sway him, the ref decision is final nothing can make him change his mind why don’t players get that through their heads instead of arguing and getting sent off
Muntari is an animal
It’s not Allegri’s fault that Galliani brought in Muntari in the first place really. Him getting a red card is all his own doing, nothing to do with Allegri. Actually somehow we played better being a man down. The thing is about our midfield today, except for Flamini, Ambrosini and Muntari tries to do the hard stuff too much, with their passing, and they’re a bit too slow most of the time, especially Muntari, it’s not like he knows his limitations, he should keep it simple, win the ball and then pass it away to someone more creative. Ambrosini kept… Read more »
It is 100% mad Max’s fault that Muntari plays. Stop trying to apologize for the worst coach in Italy.
every one is looking for the way forward but these two guys are here critizing..whats wrong with u guys?
@gaushow..there is no such thing as Allegri fans..what we have here is milan fans..we stick by our team,we dont nag, curse and complain always..we stick by our team irrespective of who is in charge..thats what chelsea fans are doing now with Benitez
ok I’ll say some good things =)
Abbiati was great! Flamini is doing very well! Balloteli is a monster! De Siglio must be a starter, Mexes and Zapata are playing very well, SES is a great player but in a bad moment, Pazzini is a great subs, maybe even a good starter..
“happy we didn’t loose”, that is what milan has been reduced to, we become happy for not loosing. Pure allegri fan.
Actually, yes. Considering we were a man down against Roma, it’s not like we were playing Pescara, without being disrespectful towards them. It would never sound like that if we had all our players on the pitch.
Myself, I’m disappointed that we did not win, even though we were a man down, but it all differs from person to person.
Wat a game wit red card forza milan.
for the upteenth time..the man cant compete..how many times has he gotten a result from a direct competitor..
Florentina wit 11 playaz v. Roma =0:1.
Milan wit 10 playaz v. Roma =0:0
Some of u complainin abt muntari nw ar dsame ppl praisin him last time out. @Gaushow or wats ur name ar u sure ar a fan callin ur teams playa an animal, u are either a racist or jst pure pathetic. U can’t even speak gud english wat is “10 mans”? Jst shut up and go back to school.
u complainin abt
nw ar dsame ppl praisin
callin ur teams playa
you are also an animal
This same Roma also defeated juve who ar d run away champions by d way!
d way? Just after criticizing somebody else’s writing skills, that’s rich.
I’m sure some ppl on this blog alwaiz pray for the team to loose so they can come out ere to batch @ d team generally. Don’t u jst av anywhere else to pour out ur frustration cos its obvious u ar frustrated fellows lukin for who to pour ur frustration on. Muntari is beta than u in all ways yet u av d got to kal him an animal. Wat av u achieved in ur life.if u knw nothing abt respect u ar not even worthy of being a milan fan mayb u shld cross to inter.
What language was that?
Montolivo might be back for Siena. Let’s hope so as Allegri’s three man bruiser midfield needs work.
allegri fans, stop insulting everyone and face the fact that the man can’t win against a moderate team. All some people do here is throw around insults and excuses. Start facing the truth, it is painful but worth while. Last year everyone blamed the linesman for not winning the league because of the disallowed muntari goal, now we are blaming the ref for failing to beat roma, and putting our third position at risk. Excuses all the time. Can’t you see, we win by lucky goals? And against decent oppositions, you won’t get many of them lucky chances. Stop taking… Read more »
That’s true. Most of the games in the second half of this season have been won by either Penalties or tap ins, no real goals.
am i the only one who has an educated guess that muntaris actions were motivated by racial abuse???? im not saying its an excuse but i dont think he would man handle the ref like that over pure footballing reasons. Its pathetic how much racism is in football. It is ruining the game
De Sciglio once again proved he is not ready for the big time, Milan missed Abate’s width and defense. Max also showed again why he needs to be shown the door. His subs were like always baffling. Down a man bring in Robinho for SES? Robinho who never gets back to help out for SES who always runs his butt off? Finish the game playing a 4-2-3, really? Fire Allegri now!
sorry but de sciglio is 10000 times better than Abate
Abate is the best but De Sciglio is miles better than Constant
@wcsg..yes we will fire allegri and let ur big empty head be the coach..fool..am sure u loved muntari after last game but now u are sritizing him..get a life
its always gaushow and cyborg and maybe two others against the whole blog…just imagine gaushow calling a fellow milanisti(muntari) an animal… Thats shows an high level of disrespect and gross irresponsibility…imagine cyborg saying milan always win by lucky goals..this shows that u dont even know anything about the league.we have the best attack in italy and u call our goals lucky?go see d doctor dude cos am not sure u are mentally stable
its wayyy more than 2 more guys… a lot of ppl are agaisnt Alegri..
and in Brazil calling someone an animal is not that offensive…
though no one should be happy with a draw in milan but personally i dont think this was such a bad performance giving how we used to struggle against small teams. i actually enjoyed how allegri started with 2 attackers in his line-up then 3 after we were a man down… not so typical of him, is it? perhaps tassotis ideas
@wcsg..u say de scglio is not ready fir the big stage show that u know more than prandelli cos right now, that kid is in the national team..why are nt u even a coach dude?u calling allegri the worst coach in italy?hahaha u amaze me..what will u then call the coaches of prescara, torino and siena?oh what about montella that spent millions on the transfer market but still cant be on top of allegri? What about zeeman that was sacked by roma?or even strama of inter..do u want me to continue?i know allegri still has things to learn dude but he deserves… Read more »
Unlike young strikers, young defenders can’t be given too much time on the field because one mistake they make can ruin their confidence drastically. Allegri is taking caution playing De Sciglio but he should have played Abate today.
I think the Siena will definitley decide Allegri’s fate. I don’t hate Allegri by any means but where I come from (the U.S.) this happens all the time with Nfl, Nba, etc teams. Its win and your in and he keeps his job or lose and he’s fired.
well i was complaining after the unconvincing win over torino and taday i’m ok with a draw. it tells that i could take droping some points but you’ve to show there’s a style in your play. which has been my main issue with allegri and i’m not sure he can solve that problem. i liked the teams spirit tonight but it takes more than a game to judge a coach
@n3ro…how are penalties gotten?well let me tell u..its as a result of pressure..how are simple tap ins gotten?its as a result of pressure and good teams play my friend…and can u please explain what u mean by no real goals or do u want me to tell u the number os penalties ronaldo, messi, falcoa, lewandoski have scored this season?a goal is a goal my friend
he wants the stupid epl goals where its a headless chicken running and shooting screamers, or something in fifa where u spin around 25 player. stupid fans
No I want a normal solo goal at least. Yareen, please give me an example of a non-penalty and non-tap in goal we have gotten in the second half.
some milan fans are really funny i swear..what are simple tap ins and which goals are not real goals?hahaha
Call they name as a mian fan? Always have an excuses for all alergy do with milan match is such an a inter fan get in this blog to destroy our harmony, you all alergy fans is always closed your eyes, useless to talk with you all, even alergy get 10 position in seri a, you are will defend alergy till die for sure. Once again i tell you alergy fans, go away from this Milan blog, make your own blog with name Alergylover. How poor plastic fans
Wow…like seriously, you need to dive back into your BOOKS lol and do away with anything related to football.
We we’re the better team against roma even when we we’re down to 10men and some anti-milan fans still say the team played badly? When milan wins, ure never happy, when milan loose, ure so joyous. Even if allegri goes, ya’ol still won’t be satisfied. Milan haters…get lost
It was very clear dat allegri can’t win against d top teams, its disappointing dat we only won against juve wic is so far by dat lucky penalty.
Moreover we struggle against d “above average teams” lyk udinese, lazio, etc, our nw real competitors re teams lyk pescara, siena, etc.Allegri doesn’t motivate his players to play wit heart and dedication, and as a result he has changed Milan to d category of above d average teams
@Ac fan….stop embarssing urself dude..we humilated lazio 3-0 with 70 percent of the possession at san siro?what about napoli?when we win u call it lucky are u sure u even watched the games u mention?how will u blame allegri fo yesterday’s game?tell me
what about napoli??? 2 draws…
tell me last season, who we beat? from the big guys..
Nobody hear enjoys Allegri’s tactical display. With the way many people were talking, I thought we were gonna win against Roma so that in our last match, we will be able to play with our unused players. But it seems Allegri hates creative players dats why people like muntari gets the edge. Allegri was meant to use this season to know his the style of play that will fit milan. But uptil now, milan have got no real formation that will entice the fans. The board members have to change almost the entire swquad so we will use next season… Read more »
fiorentina with 11 men lost 2 dis same roma on their home turf, so yeah….
Happy we dint lose, with 10 men.
@ aliyu, do u even knw anytin abt dz team?aside montolivo (who is injured) tell us anoda creative player in the team that shld. Av started against Roma. Bt I understand u…wen u fall, al u av to do is blame it on allegri, wen u ar hungry blame it on allegri, wen muntari gets red blame it on allegri, bt wen muntari scores nd milan defeats lazio 3:0 ,its just luck….u seriously amaze me wen talk jst for d sake of it…pls move to an allegri haters blog.
Dude….don’t sweat over the dunderheads, the only thing they do to catch attention on here is to criticize anything the team does.
always tha game agaisnt lazio… maybe because its the only one
Dude get a conscious! I think you taking this way too far!
Hnm…….. Milan all d way, i belief we will play in CL next season.
We have some horrible human beings here… leave if you can’t support Milan. SIMPLE
Sir Alex Ferguson was about getting sacked sometimes in his early days at United but with patience and determination he took the club to where it is today and they adore him.
If you can’t be patient with Allegri and allow him to grow over time PLEASE JOIN INTER.
You couldn’t have said it any BETTER dude.
The best comment ever.
Patient is the Key.
Bashing Allegri all the time will change nothing. In as much as I’m not a big fan of his, kudos to him for stabilizing the team after the disastrous start to the season…I remember when we were 18th while Inter were in 4th position.
But let’s not forget something…@ the start of the season our coach said “I’m satisfied with the squad @ my disposal”. This is a squad that had just one creative midfielder. If we are to be sincere with ourselves…Milan under Allegri struggles against well organized teams. He needs to be more flexible tactically.
@Red heart. There are many ways to play the game without montolivo, even wen he’s present, we still play rubbish. The likes of Muntari, boateng, performing in alternate matches is the issue, if at all they are good, den why don’t dey play well in every match dey feature. Instead dey get lucky wen teams or defenders slip up and dey capitalize. A good player is one who assists is team thru out d season wen he’s fit. Take saponara for example, he has up to 17 assists dis season. How many is boateng having? He knows nothing but to… Read more »
The people on this blog that call themselves Allegri lovers are not actually Allegri lovers, they just blindly follow whatever the fuck Milan does and say it’s a good thing. If Galliani told them to eat their shit, they would be a step ahead and eat their intestines. This blog is full of shit, surrounded by either 10 year olds or 40 year old virgins. If this is what it means to be a Milan fan, I would rather watch Tennis. My time here is over. Bye 🙂
LOL…alergy lover hiding behind ac milan name..how poor fans.. We dont need plastic fans like u all, we are milan with winning tradition, not your mediocre mentality n mediocre coach who satisfy with second position in second year, third position in third year, fourth position in fourth [email protected],u are the one who must go away from this blog, you mediocre fans!! Go away with your beloved alergy!!
@Egule,pls cn u tel m wen w beat napoli dis season nd d Scores, apart frm lazio wic is also a revenge, wic oda top team did they beat,so it seems u re d 1 nt watching d matches so stop fooling and deceiving Yrself
Allegri’s 2012/2013 report sheet against the most competitive teams in the Seria A.. Juventus — 3 points out of 6… Napoli — 2 points out of 6… Lazio — 3 points out of 6… Fiorentina — 1 point out of 6… Roma — 1 point out of 6… Inter — 1 point out of 6… We picked up just 10pts out of a possible 36..which is abt 27.7% against these teams.. Neither the team play nor statistics supports Max’ ability to compete..I wonder what would ve happened if teams like Lazio and Inter maintained their earlier tempo.. K..u ve to… Read more »
