MATHIEU FLAMINI will hold talks with the club next week regarding a new, much less lucrative deal.
Flamini joined Milan in 2008 from Arsenal on a Bosman transfer and has never replicated the good form that made him a star player for Arsene Wenger’s side, but he’s set to stay for a couple of more years.
Mathieu signed a four-year deal when he joined the Rossoneri, worth €4.5 million a season. This made him the second highest paid player at Milan last season, 2nd only to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who earns €9m.

According to il Corriere dello Sport, Flamini will have a meeting with Milan’s Adriano Galliani at some point next week to discuss a two-year contract renewal worth around €1.8 million a year. Flamini, 28-year-old, has played 100 games for Milan since joining them in all competitions, scoring four goals in the process.
Flamini was out injured for the most of the 2011/2012 season and the Frenchman played just 2 games, but scored a goal in the final game against Novara. This can be the last contract talks Milan do this year.
we need quality in depth in case of injury. So i guess we still need his service because Flamini is a decent player. Forza Milan.

Seriously the same dude who was complaining that Italy lost to USA,but forget Spain lost to them in a more important game. USA is a solid team,Donovan and Dempesy are quality. Now onto Flamini,his a good player,definetly quality don’t know who you think in the world is better in his position,maybe scot parker,vidal and mascherano,but the players who are better will cost way to much or not for sale.
Flamini is a great player and much better than Muntari imo. I hope to see him play a lot next season.

Flamini is an excellent player but his injuries have let him down. He probably has a good couple of years or more left in him but then does Allegri want to get the best out of him. If he is injury free this season he sould be included to start in all games. since Monty is more flexible he needs to be supported by Flamini & Nocerino on the sides .If Allegri opts for a midfield 4 i think Flamini Monty Nocerino & Boa would be excellent. 3-4-3 doesn’t use a right back or a left back. it uses 3 center-backs. I’m sure flamini can’t play as a CB. If we were to play with a 3-man defense, it would probably be Silva-Mexes-Acerbi

actually, it seems we’ll be signing Cruzeiro’s 19-year old keeper Gabriel. if he’s going to be in the first team, he would replace Adler in the above list.
what I like about this team is that all the midfielders (except ambrosini) can play in multiple roles, so injuries shouldn’t cost us as much next season.

Relax. Berlusconi is waiting for investors. He wants to sell more than 40% of the shares but retain his 51% to have the veto right. Don’t forget AC Milan is bleeding and he is paying €50m each year from his own pocket. So it isn’t all bad. The first thing is to deal with is why we have so many injuries than fix the pitch. Them we can focus on players. Our scudetto loss is because of injuries and nothing more.

You guys forget Roma have foreign investors. If the transfer window goes well,I believe we can do it,but the Champions League needs luck which we do not e.g disallowed goals and silly penalties.
