TAYE TAIWO seems to be close to joining Milan.
Only one thing still divides Milan and Taye Taiwo: confirmation, but confirmation came just directly from the OM sporting director, Jose Anigo who also revealed links between the Nigerian and the Rossoneri.
Speaking to Radio Monte Carlo, Anigo said: “Taye played for six years with us. We made very good proposals, but he chose to play in another championship and learn a bit more.

Only his Nigerian nationality may stop his transfer, but there are reports emerging that Taiwo has a French passport too. The 25-year-old left-back will be very helpful for Milan if he joins next year.

He’s free and has a cannon of a left foot. Watch some youtube videos of his free kicks. We’ll have a much better attack with wing play from both Abate + Emmanualson/Taiwo on the flanks.

Id rather we not waste our money on Cissokho and rather get a midfielder. Taiwo and mascherano is better than just Cissokho. Plus we can Ganso. Some wouldnt be happy unless we spent 60mil on a player like Fernando Torres lol.. Huge flop! And big spending got Man City NOWHERE!
It amazes me how some guys keep writing how we should play didac vila and emanuelson, and in the same time they are exctatic whith taiwo… In my opinion we should bring taiwo becuase he is a true class player, and get rid of antonini and send didac on loan back to spain. It just confuses me why did we brought didac in the first place as it’s obvious that he isn’t currently capable of gaining allegri’s trust. You can’t say that allegri thought that he will play and then suddenly he changed his mind…
Well its better to have depth. Two solid players per position. Didac should remain. Antonini can go. Zambrotta should stay as he is still great on both flanks.
And Emanuelson is best as a midfielder not a leftback. He did his best at Ajax there. Both Galliani and Allegri also said he is a midfielder.

having taiwo as our LB is like having the last missing puzzle in our defensive unit.. and i’m sure that allegri can groomed didac vila as a decent LB like he did with abate.. my only concern is his current non-eu status.. i hope that he has or at least eligible for a french passport.. go get him milan!!

hope the signing of taiwo can be officially broadcasted soon. with urby on the left midfield, milan only need to train more intensively KPB, merkel and urby about game strategy. i believe trio KPB-urby-merkel will be milan’s midfield & AM in the future seedorf, gattuso and ambrosini will retire within 1-2 years. strasser, montelongo can be called to replace them and antonini can be trained as a DM too. i have a good feeling that antonini is useful for a DM. with MvB as a DM now, i am pretty confidence with the midfield. about pirlo, i believe he will… Read more »
