A DEAL could take place in the summer according to the Brazilian club and Ganso’s representative.
Paulo Henrique Ganso admitted this week that he’s following Thiago Silva, Alexandre Pato and Robinho. It seems that he might to join them at Milan.
Inter’s Leonardo made Ganso one of his top targets, but according to sources in the club and also sources close to the player, Milan are ahead in the race to sign the highly-rated attacking midfielder.

“Milan are in advantage now in terms of Ganso’s preferences. The deal could happen already by the start of next season,” one of the player’s representatives told il Corriere dello Sport.
Santos also confirmed that Milan are ahead in the race for the 21-year-old: “It is true, Milan and Inter want him but the Rossoneri are currently ahead of the Nerazzurri. Galliani has played his cards well.”
Adriano Galliani also had a say on the issue: “Leonardo likes Ganso? I never went to Brazil for a holiday… his clause? This is very negotiable.”
Santos want €50 million for the player at the moment, but his price will significantly decrease in the summer. Ganso is still recovering from a very serious injury.

From what I hear is that Ganso is an over rated player. If he is that good, and if he certainly will recover soon then buy him while he is injured. He should be cheaper now while being injured than buying him in the summer when he is recovered price will go up:) it could be a gamble but on the other hands, if we are certain of his recovery then buying him in the low low will be a steal. Ganso has the potential.. and will hopefully do well. but one player comes to mind who could do well immediately and in the summer will link up well with whoever comes. It’s rather harsh to say that Ganso is better than Dos Santos…Giovanni has a lot more experience, is 21 yrs, tackles and does a lot of running as compared to Ganso and has played at the world cup and was nominated for the young player of the world cup though his team left at the Quarter final..Ganso is still unproven yet in Europe nor the World

Kay: No it’s not. I actually do like Mexican players… the best one is Chicharito. Dos Santos has flopped in various countries… and didn’t do well in Spain. Ganso is the better player. If you’re going to say that Ganso is not proven in Europe, then don’t say that Dos Santos is. He failed in Turkey, Spain and England. If Pienaar pushes him out of the Spurs squad… that’s concerning! Ganso is a very good player watch his highlights ecspecially his game against the usa he was very good. He is very good on FIFA 11 haha. @ Giancarlo… well it is true he has had a hard time but when you look at the facts he has not flopped contrary to what people THINK..He is an attacking midfielder to start with..Now he left Barca because he wanted a pay raise and not because he flopped, he actually made 28 appearances for Barca that season,scoring a hatrick in his final game. Dos Santos flopped EVERYWHERE.He is not good enough.Lamela is better choice because he is faster then Ganso and much stronger.Ganso is like Rivaldo.He would be perfect in LA LIGA.
Dos Santos is only 21 and at the world cup he was superb..He will be playing for sampdoria…hopefully we can get to see if he really has it. he would not have been bad in our team though as we have player worse than him to be honest..

Ganso is really like Deco, he has good passing skill, doesnt dribble the ball much, always looking to pass the ball to the advance position. he can be pirlo’s/seedorf’s replacement for the next season
Kay, Dos Santos never impressed enough at Barca. If he did they would have given a pay raise. And he certainly did not impress at Tottenham. Okay, he would find it hard to play in a lot of big teams… what makes you think he will play regularly in our team if he isn’t good enough? For one, Dos Santos has had chances in multiple countries and multiple leagues… and multiple teams. He failed. And don’t compare Boateng to Dos Santos. Two different players… and Boateng was vital in Ghana’s campaign. To me yes, Dos Santos flopped. It’s fact.

We should get Ganso 100 %, some of the things i have seen from him reminds me a little of zidane, His technique and the way his covers the ball with his body… and i think we should get some specialist working on Pato, clearly his legs gets over exorcized, sins his arrivel he has scored plenty of goals but he gets injured around half the season. every season. is he worth this???

TWF, Cassano, Robinho and Merkel don’t really play the AM position. Robinho is a winger/ss, and Cassano is a second striker… Ganso is an AM. And I think we should give the 22 year old CB Sokratis more chances. He’s done well in two games so far.
@Giancarlo – I do agree with you totally. But at the other hand I see that Milan should get a to quality CB. Milan had a reputation in defense, future wise we also need a GK too, I believe Milan already have some one to replace Abiati. Ganso should come in during the summer. For now I think we should get Contento during Jan. Giancarlo, If you say Cassano is not an AM, then I’ll say Kaka wasn’t one either. Kaka actually would fit playing SS better. Well, actually maybe not, but he still got the job done well when he was needed to play SS. Anyways, Cassano has all the qualities to play AM.
