Ismaël Bennacer will miss at least 6 months of football after his injury against Inter last week.
Right before the 2nd leg in the Champions League against Inter and before the final stretch of the season, Milan found out today that they will be missing one of their most important players for a very lengthy period through injury.
Bennacer picked up an injury last Wednesday at San Siro against Inter and it turned out to be quite a serious one, which required him going under the knife.
“Milan announces that Ismaël Bennacer underwent surgery on his right knee in Lyon this morning,” a statement on the website of the Rossoneri reads. “The repair of the cartilage lesion was successfully performed by Dr. Bertrand Sonnery Cottet in the presence of Milan’s club doctor, Dr. Stefano Mazzoni.
“The recovery time is estimated to be at least six months.” Milan will have to find solutions both this season and in the next one as Bennacer covered several important roles for Stefano Pioli.
Not to be negative, but with Bennacer out and with almost certainty that we will end up in the Europa League next season, time for Pioli to try Pobega, Vranxx, CDK and Adil. See who steps up, if they get no minutes we would never know

We need a good right winger and there’s this guy from Nice… Read more »
Only if you want to get banned from FFP, we as a club can’t afford to put to gather a 100 million package for a 31 year old. It’s just not a realistic nor a smart strategy
Get well soon and back stronger !
