The return of Zlatan Ibrahimović is getting closer and closer, but it’ll take longer for Mike Maignan.

Ibra has been out of action since the end of last season, when he underwent a knee surgery, but now he is finally returning and will soon be available.

As reported by Milannews.it and others, today (Friday), Ibra carried out the first part of the training session with the rest of the group. He later went back to doing personalized work, but it’s the first time in over 8 months that the Swede trained with his teammates.

It was originally thought that Ibra would make his return in the Champions League match against Tottenham on February 14, but he was not included in the squad list for the competition and will therefore be making his comeback in Serie A during the upcoming month.

Milan fans are also eagerly waiting for the return of Mike Maignan. The goalkeeper hasn’t played since September and the Diavolo are suffering heavily due to his absence, and currently have the worst defense in Europe in 2023 in terms of number of goals conceded.

However, also today Mike trained apart and wasn’t with the squad and there is still no fixed dated for his return. Paolo Scaroni said he should be back for Spurs but that remains to be seen.
