Ismaël Bennacer’s renewal should be signed in the next few days.
On the evening of the key match between Milan and Roma at Stadio San Siro (20:45 CET kickoff), excellent news arrive on the front of the renewal of Bennacer.
As reported by Sky Italia, and later confirmed by Milannews.it, the extension of the Algerian is now ‘one step away’ as an agreement has practically been reached with the player and his agents.
The parties are now in the last steps of the negotiations, and Bennacer is expected to put pen to paper in the very near future and sign a new contract until 2027. He will earn 4m plus bonuses. Sky reports that the release clause of €50m, which is also present in his current deal, will remain.
Bennacer is one of the most important players in the squad of Pioli. After finding a deal with Isma, Milan will now fully focus on renewing the contracts of Rafael Leão and Olivier Giroud.
