Milan will face Chelsea, RB Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb in the upcoming Group Stage of the Champions League.

After winning their first Scudetto since 2011, Milan returned to Pot 1 of the Champions League Group Stage draw.

Today in Istanbul, the draw for the Group Stage of the competition took place and Milan, represented by Honorary Vice President Franco Baresi and Club Ambassador Daniele Massaro, learned who they’ll be facing.

With a coefficient of 38.000 (the lowest among those in Pot 1), Milan hoped to get a more comfortable draw compared to last year. And indeed they got one. The Rossoneri have drawn Thomas Tuchel’s, Red Bull Salzburg of Matthias Jaissle and Dinamo Zagreb of Ante Čačić in Group E.

The group stage will begin on 6-7 September and end on 1-2 November, with home and away matches being played, and the top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout stages.

A favorable draw hope to come on top of this one

I’d say Salzburg worries me the most. They surprise some team every season.

Not the hardest but not the easiest either. No team here is an easy target but then again Chelsea is in kind of in transition and i’ll take our speedy Leao and Rebic over their defense.
We also gotta wait for the transfer window to end. Say Chelsea adds Fofana and a good CF, they’d have the edge. I still take us and chelsea to finish 1-2 and move on.

Calm down

Chelsea are favorite to finish first but can make life difficult for them if we play brave. To have a better chance, must be prepared to press them high up the pitch on most occasions. If we get too scared of conceding and sit deep leaving them with lot of space, will be dominated and concede a lot of goals anyways. Should try to attack every team like we did away to Atletico Madrid which we dominated and won. Good luck to the team .Forza Milan.
