Olivier Létang has confirmed it’s between Milan and Paris Saint-Germain for Renato Sanches, but there is no agreement yet with neither club.

The transfer market is still wide open and the desire of Milan to get another midfielder in the summer is apparent.

Renato Sanches seemed very close to the Rossoneri, who are now fully focusing on reaching an agreement for Charles De Ketelaere, but in the last few weeks, the sides got further away from each other, with Renato reportedly making it known that he would like to join Ligue 1’s Paris Saint-Germain over Milan.

Today, Lille President Olivier Létang spoke about Sanches in a press conference, as reported by eurosport.fr: “Renato is going to leave, yes. To which club? I don’t know… There are discussions but I won’t reveal the nature of these discussions. He has 2 possibilities, two very good clubs in PSG and Milan.

“If he is still with us now then it’s because we haven’t found an agreement with either of the two clubs. We still need a little patience.”

There are reports in France over the last few days, also echoed today by RMC Sport, that Renato has grown tired of waiting for PSG, who according to L’Equipe offer €10m for him, while Lille ask for €16m. This could get him back closer to the Rossoneri.

I mean, he’s good, but his injury histories are a bit troubling.
I would not be too sad if he ends up in PSG instead of with us – but hey, if we can get him, good for us.
