Mattia Caldara has officially joined Spezia and left Milan, again.
Caldara never played for Milan in Serie A and this fact is not going to change. The center back, who arrived in 2018 from Juventus in exchange for Leonardo Bonucci, goes on another loan in hope to revive his stagnant career.
Spezia have taken the player for at least the next season, as confirmed by the statement: “Milan can confirm that Mattia Caldara has joined Spezia Calcio on loan with an option to make the deal permanent.
“The Club would like to wish Mattia all the best for the coming season.” The Milan contract of the 28-year-old, who last season played at Venezia, expires in 2024.
