Antonio Mirante will be part of the squad next season as well.
Milan will start training for the new season on Monday and today (Friday) – on the first day of the summer transfer market – they’ve finalized the renewals of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, while buying out Alessandro Florenzi.
In addition to the moves above, the club also announced this evening that Mirante will stay at the club. “Milan can confirm that the option to extend Antonio Mirante’s contract until 30 June 2023 has been exercised,” a statement reads.
Mirante was the third-choice goalkeeper of the Campioni d’Italia last season behind Mike Maignan and Ciprian Tătăruşanu and he’s expected to assume a similar role next year as well.
