Actually I have always wondered why a fit and ready Bennacer could be benched in important matches and to be honest Tonali’s mostly been frustrating to watch for me. I didn’t watch the Verona match but didn’t like his Lazio performance even with a very important goal. Pioli did incredible job with a team that was made for fourth place really. He overachived for sure. Some luck like Inter keep dropping points whent our way as well. But i think that is mainly because Inter had to play in Europe. They usually dropped points when they played two times per week. So getting out of Europe early acctualy went in Milan’s favour. You think Ibra has 45mins in his legs? Stop complaining. This is not PlayStation. Pioli has brought them this far and he will finish the job. All Milan needs is one point. There’s no need getting reckless. The same squad for tonight should start except there’s an injury. Top quality experience and skills like Bennacer, etc can then enter to close out the game.
Giroud has been poor and Zlatan is our only alternative, I’d rather start him and then sub on Giroud. I don’t see how starting Rebic and Bennacer is PlayStation logic, Rebic is far better than Salamakers, or even Messias and Bennacer is class and would allow Tonali start further forward in our mid.
When Zlatan used to start we kept on droping points mate. You dont want to go back to that. Giroud is far from perfect, but he is the best thing that we got right now for that position. Pioli did the right thing when he promoted Giroud in the starting eleven, our current standing on the table proofs that.

A fantastic win for the boys. They showed up today and proved that they will not fold under the pressure of a scudetto battle. The manner in which these lads make sacrifices for each other on the pitch is remarkable and I honestly believe that they deserve every bit of success that they’ve achieved so far and will continue to achieve with that type of team spirit. Forza Milan
I think this final fight against Sassoulo is very important for the teams mentality, though we all wished Inter would drop points against Cagliari. Learning to soak up pressure to the last minute is the major reason Real Madrid has made it to UCL finals this season.
With everything this team has been through, if they can manage to get the right result against Sassoulo and bring home the Scudetto, then they’re true champions and it’s safe to say they can bring home the UCL title sooner than we expected.

I’ve been repeating this almost every (or every other) game. Kalulu and Tomori are one of the best defending duo in Europe right now and stats confirm it. I am totally against splashing 30 millions on Botman. As I said I rather see them snatch another Kalulu or make Kjaer-esque signing for the bench if Romagnoli leaves. If not then CB roster is complete. That way they can focus and invest more in what we really need – RW, AM and ST.
I can’t believe Tomori and Kalulu have both been one yellow card away from suspension for the last 4 matches and yet, they have managed to not get suspended. Just wow!! Those 2 have just been fantastic. That is just pure class.
