how the hell was that not a penalty?
Referee was been lenient. A bit hard to get a PK like that.
A lot of fouls.
We’ve been definitely the less shity team but still nowhere near a good game. No tactical plan. We are simply waiting to see if the Talent of players like Leao, Tonali, Theo & Messias would win us the game.
not watching the ball but why was Ibrahimović substituted was he injured
Yeah injury.
Second half would be our opportunity, our team is younger. I predict 2 to 1. We win.
Somebody said Locatelli is better than Tonali ?? I laugh
I hate him but he isn’t a bad player. Not kind of players that shine In every game but he do the dirty jobs very well. Both are a combination of Pirlo & Rino but Tonali is more Pirlo & Loca is more Rino. Both are future of Italy national team.
Krunic as AM again. If we had Rebic as AM or even instead of Giroud, we would have scored by now.
Why does this coach always remove Leao ??? He doesn’t realize he can play both him and Rebic together ?? This coach is really tactically inept. Smh
I would have like to see pioli bring rebic on for diaz and as u say play rebic and leao they would combine well
Leao ran his butt off all game . He had no more legs. It has nothing to do with both together and everything to do with leao running out of steem and us needing fresh legs .
Just read milan and spurs agreed transfer for kessie but he refused to go, looks like another one ru ning his contract down smh
Why does Pioli take off Leao the danger man
the guy who can make something happen out of nothing
why would kessie agree to this? He has 5 months left, and can pick where he goes, and will get higher pay packet, sign on bonus and higher fee for his agent. maldini fucked this up two years ago. heck, real madrid payed 31 mil for camavinga in his last year of contract.
This team won’t go anywhere if we still see players like Krunnic on the pitch
Don’t ever play Rebic, Saladman and Krunic at the same fucking time! They are all so blunt and produce very little creativity. Dumbass coach.
Leao was tired, who do you propose to bring on?
A tired, worn out Leão is better than Krunic.
Very frustating game. We were clearly the better team but what do you expect when you keep benching your best players.
We also really need a bloody striker!
Ibra is fucked, Giroud is old and inconsistent (as he always was), Pellegri???
Forget centre backs, we are in trouble if we dont find a striker
Would you take martial from man u on loan till end of season? he wants out, I’d take van de beek off them too lol
100% id take both of them!
Agreed.
What exactly does Krunic bring to this team. Pioli could have let us see Messias as AM instead of taken him off. Krunic and Diaz should have gone off. He could have left Leao on and removed Krunic instead for Rebic.
Juve is nothing special and it should have been 3 points in the bag.
Pioli loves Krunic, not Hauge
Hauge isn’t my biggest regret, Bonaventora is. The guy love Milan and he is playing amazing for Fio. He can play both as Central Midfield and winger. We kept Krunic & let one of our best players leave for free. His average rating is 7.3. and he is playing at the right side of fio midfield (which it isn’t his natural position).
Jack deserved bstter!
We let him and Paqueta leave and kept the useless traitor Hakan
When all attacking players are available, we should definitely play the best alongside each other. It means Leao, Rebic, Diaz & Messias or Alexis. Both Ibra & Giroud kill lot’s of our attacking moves. Yes ghey score from time to time but they also prevent scoring in more ocassions. Diaz was much better when he played alongside Rebic simply because he creates lots of space for other attackers.
Juve was so weak tonight but our coach played it safe again.
Spot on mate. I’ve been talking about this long time ago. Pioli benching Rebic (one of our best players) makes no sense at all. Espesialy in big games like this one. Huge mistake by the coach, which probobly costed us 3 points. P.S Bennacer should start over Krunic as well.
It’s been really long I saw a midfielder as good as Tonali in Milan. The boy is a gem, a midfielder general. We need a good right winger, messias and saladmaker is not it. And God knows we need a classic number 10, that can create and score and be consistent at it. Diaz seem very average to me. Besides the above, am ok with the entire team
Thats why i wanted Faivre so bad in the summer mate. The guy can play as a AM and a RW, he would have been such a good addition to this team for a cheap price. I cant belive we still havent sorted out the RW any way. A team like Milan should have found a good RW ten times by now.
I don’t understand. Inter just changed their coach and lost Lukaku but they now lead with 4 point and 1 game left
Milan have got worse not better that’s why ,
didn’t make crucial signings we needed &
let down by injury problems
Lack of attacking reinforcement is killing our title chance. Same as last year. If Maldini & Massara care about title or even top 4, they should push for a Striker & an attacking midfielder. Not only we may lose the title game, we may also lose UCL because Juve & Atalanta are coming for us. If no one pushes for new players then all of them have the same Idea of us staying at the current level for a long time. Milan isn’t Arsenal or Dortmund. It’s really sad that our management and directors don’t have the same passion of… Read more »
Totally agree. Any fit striker at this point lint would be a huge relief. Any backups needed for defence or midfield can wait until summer. The fact we started the seaason with 1 no 10, 2 ancient strikers and no true RW was always going to catch up with us. The management need to invest. We have great talents in our squad but if we dont plug the holes and become real title chasers, they will leave 1by 1 for teams they can win with. Now is the time to invest and convince those guys we can be a top… Read more »
Why you always blame our directors when the owner does not want to spend?
It’s easy. It’s one of these scenarios:
You either have more ambition than your boss, then you will leave (Conte & Inter for example)
You have more ambition but you care more about your job & your salary (it’s exactly what is happening with Maldini)
You share the same amount of ambition.
When a ship is sinking, all the people in charge are in fault. (in our case it’s not sinking, it’s progressing very very slowly! But to a direction that isn’t footballing success)
Its also about priorities.
Last summer for example we signed Florenzi, a useful player but not a priority to have a 3rd choice RB.
Similar situation with Pellegri, this new kid Lazetic, Adli, Messias etc
All those moves are fine if you have a solid starting 11, but not a priority when you dont.
Sure next year we will have Adli for AM, but we have to replace kessie and Romagnoli, get a striker and a RW.
Its one step forward and 2 steps backwards
exactly. lot’s of wrong moves. Selling Hauge for such a low amount. letting Bona leave. not renewing in proper time and losing key players on free. buying wrong players (as you said) instead of replacing key players that left. not buying avaiable free players and invest in Unknown players (Balo instead of Hysaj). not buying free players now (Belloti, Serdar, etc) when they can be a success or financial gain. that’s the mistakes I see and most of it are the act of directors not our greedy owners. yes they are greedy but none of them told our directors to… Read more »
All teams learn, whether is Zidane, Xavi, Luis Enrique, pepe guardi, Conti they were all ex players who did not have much coaching experience. Well guess what, Zidane helped RM to win back to back CL. Pepe played in Italy but is one of the best coach now. Conti played for inter and we know what he did for inter and Chelsea.
I don’t know what you mean by “Conti” but hiring ex players when they don’t have enough experience barely works. Yeah some of them will be huge success but most of them will be disasters. Just look at our situation since Carleto left. How many ex players we hired before they became successful somewhere else. How many of them were successful at Milan?seedorf is out of job. Inzaghi is still recovering from his tenor at Milan. Brocchi never reached anything. Rino is probably the most successful between all of them and he didny even achieve UCL by Milan & Napoli.… Read more »
Or Maldini just loves milan more than u do, can actually do something and doesn’t trust any random successor. Instead of leaving his works halfway, he actually works with what he got and learns to spend money wisely.
Maldini has been in Milan through ups and downs and someone who is actually suffers when Milan does. I’ll take Maldini any day over any random director.
In this kind of situation, Milan needs to be built with humility, not arrogance.
Then why he refused Chinese offer?
It’s normal to drop points against fellow big teams, so dropping 2points Juve last night doesn’t hurt so bad. But dropping points against teams like Spezia? Naaaa!!!! Totally unacceptable. Weather bad refereeing or not, Milan doesn’t have any excuse to have lost 3 solid points to Spezia and Sassuolo
Exactly. Milan should have been at 3 goals up by half time against Spezia.
Mah we are 120millions away of greatness
this Has to be ibra’s last season
we can’t be so stupid to pay him another season,
better of giving kessie what he wants
and we need to buy a number 10
diaz is total crap , Real Madrid will never want him
Yeah we are sitting on 8th place, this is total BS! Maldini is clearly a rookie and should be fired what a waste of money. Ben, Ton, Leao, Rebic, Theo, Mike are useless. Overrated players we need Haaland, Mbappe, Neymar, Neuer, Kroos, Mane, Vlahovic. It would also be fine if we sign Vini and Ansu they are on fire. We also need a good coach, we missed Ragnick, Gasperinni for an interim coach smh. We need to spend like big ones in order to compete smh, we don’t need a new stadium we are totally fine. These ownership has not… Read more »
Ibrahimovic is totally finished, 113 minutes per goal smh what a joke. 1.4 key pass per game lmao, who needs that, we need him scoring. 2 assist? He was lucky.
In fairness Ibra still does well when he plays, unfortunately thats becoming less.
Therefore we desperately need a younger more dynamic striker.
That is no disrespect to Ibra, its reality
You mean Leao? Rebic? With Ibra and Giroud as back ups?
I think everyone would be happy for Ibra to stay next year, hes a huge influence on the squad.
But this only makes sense if we have a striker that can play the majority of the games.
Colombo will be a nice 3rd striker to have also
113 minutes a goal. Yet he only scored 8 goals. And killed as much as opportunities. Where is the opportunity hr missed in your static? Where is the game he missed ? 8 goal & 7m Salary! 875000 per goal! Which title winning team top scorers scored less than 10 goals?!
Almost a goal per match and this kid is till complaining. Go back to PES
This kid? Lol. We learned that years ago that thinking isn’t your thing! Almost a goal per match and he only scored 8 so he played 8. Based on your thinking, if a striker only plays one game and score one goal, he is the best player on earth!! Go back to your fuckin cave.
We pretty much threw away our chances of a scudetto against spezia but I don’t get it.. Where is the January signings to make the final push of winning the scudetto. Juventus have pretty much confirmed vlahovic for 75m in January, a team that declared they couldn’t spend much. What bothers me more than anything is every transfer window we have 10 different names we’re linked with and negotiate for two weeks and when it’s in the final week we end up getting some young player for a couple of million. Im not against a young talent but we need… Read more »
Your spot on.
Juve getting vlahovic is sooo annoying.
They will be lucky to qualify for CL next season, though his addition may just be the difference.
The same kind of difference the reinforcement you mentioned would give us in our title push.
I love the young talent we brought in but without reinforcements that are mature we will struggle to win titles and therefore watch our young talents leave for teams who can satisfy their ambition.
If in 2 years, Gigio, Leao, Bennacer, Kessie, Theo, Tomori, Kalulu etc are all playing for top teams, Milan fans will be sick
When was the last time we spend such a money on a top player?
Its very concerning to see our club spend 5m on an 18yo who got 4 goals last season in serbian 2nd devision.
We have colombo and Roback coming through already.
This is the club with “no money” to spend.
So i guess its becoming obvious now what the strategy is.
Buy lots of young talent for small fees and sell them on. Like Atalanta, Lille, etc etc.
How the mighty have fallen
What are you expecting? With Gazidis leading us that’s what you should expect. He was doing the same thing at Arsenal and remember Elliot have no football ambition. They stated that they just want to get Milan to a point where it’s sellable.
I guess you have forgotten we have signed a settlement agreement with UEFA and we are still losing money. On the other hand Juventus and Inter are not bound by such an agreement. Is their financial situation at this point worst then ours? Yes, but UEFA looks back a few years and I presume at that point their financial look better.
Juve, inter haven’t balanced the book in years. Barcelona we’re so bad they had to let go of messi, yet bring in ferran Torres for over 50m. I understand milan is in trouble with uefa but isn’t everyone? Milan were in 250m debt and are now 90m.barcelona? 1 billion!….. Yet your telling me milan can’t go out and spend 30+m on an attacking midfielder we so desperately need. It’s an investment that will fix us now and in the future. The problem is we aren’t willing to spend any money so how is that giving us ambition to fight for… Read more »
Call me crazy but I truly believe f milan bought an attacker like halaand (I know there’s no chance) and an attacking midfielder with similar quality, we would be a great team. It takes two great players to take this team to the next level whereas someone like juve need an attacker and whole new midfield. Well, they just got their striker.
I totally agree. 2 or 3 good players for striker, RW and AM would have us as real challengers in italy and Europe.
Unfortunately we keep losing players as quick as we develop them.
Unless that changes we are going nowhere
Totally agree
Milan owners are killing the club
if they want to build a good team and club they know want Milan needs
juventus and inter are buying great players while we depend on loan and old age players to perform wonders
the truth must be told if we truly love Milan
kessie is going because we do want to pay him more but we can keep 40 plus player( respect to Ibrahimović)
we are losing it and not getting it right
that’s what I talking about.. our management doesn’t even trying to win something, this club is just business for them and that’s it..
U are right
Kessie to Barca, Romagnoli to Juve, Vlahovic to Juve, Dybala to inter, Marcial to Sevilla, Serdar to Leverkusen, Belotti to inter, alvarez to ManC, Piatek to Fiorentina are some of the done or highly rumoured deals.
But where is Milan? We signed an 18 years old for 4M in deal very similar to Hauge deal. So we can sell him for +10m next year.
Milan is the new Atalanta. Where are the fans attacking me for stating the obvious months ago? Where is your beloved Maldini and his genius plan to take us to the top?
Maldinis genius plan are salary cap, let best players leave for free and capital gain.
The newest is extending mediocre coachs contract too early. A mediocre coach who prefers to keep dead woods Krunic and Castillejo.
7m per year for injury prone Ibra instead of giving Kessie 8m.
Not Maldini’s plan to have salary cap. It’s gandiz’s
Yeah he is protesting it everyday!
Base on you People all our management are responsible beside Maldini because he was our legend & he can’t be wrong
I don’t get this botman deal in summer for 30 odd million. Kyaer only 32 and a good defender in serie a can play well into mid 30,s.use that money towards striker, right wing and midfielder make more sense. We got kalalu who plays great and will only improve as he gets older to take kyaer position eventually, madness!
Completely agree. While Botman is exciting, we already have Kalulu who’s really progressing well and is already a reliable option to replace Kjaer back there on a long run. Same goes for Gabbia.
I think the problem is that romagnoli will also probably leave for free at the end of season. That‘s Botman is necessary for the team.
this the problem with milan in the lst 2 seasons, we are losing player for free and we must pay for the replacement. Poor business by Maldini and co
The distance between Milan and Roma is 1M. We rather pay 30M to sign a new player and not 5M more in five years to extend with Roma.
To be exact, milan only want to strengthen the rival by letting best player leave for free and the also to be a development centre for other clubs player by loaning their youngster.
Getting very worried our rivals are strengthening and it look like its just the young striker we bought for 4 million is our only business. We crying out for a 10 cos diaz not the answer, and if zlatan gets a bad injury we are gonna struggle up front too. Giroud can’t be relied on, i wish the owners would use some of summers budget to sign a couple of players. We not guaranteed top 4 but if we do some business now it would be a massive boost. After all no top four no money then same problem rolls… Read more »
Reports rapidly increasing of kulusevski to Milan on loan till summer of 2023 with option to buy… I hope this is true. He was amazing on Parma and started brightly at juve before they switched him to rm, even though he said many times he prefers to play behind the strikers… We desperately need an attacking mid, he’s 21 and he’s very good. Juve ruined him, I say take him
As quick as they came the quicker it was turned down. I forgot committing to something other than a loan for a decent player is impossible
