F*cking Rade!!! Well no other option as it stands. I hope he impresses today.

Red and Black

He got a half assist.

SJF

Tough situation with almost no fit CM or CB.
Hopefully the backups can do us proud.
Attack has to be our best method of defense with such absences.

Its the Juve and Inter games we really need players back for.

Forza Milan

BREAKING NEWS with his perfectly placed penalty (ibra take note), current milan’s best st scored his 11th goal of the season last night, outscoring every other top 4 serie a st except lautaro and zapata. man, imagine a st of that quality learning his trades from ibra at milan AND cr7 at portugal nt. better still, imagine his combo with leao; that could be even better than lautaro – lukaku. its a shame milan (read: nazidis and eldiott) were so stingy refusing to pay 25m for rebic. speaking of milan’s stinginess, just today i read that apparently they only offer… Read more »

Our goal is to become stable.. our path is similar to Liverpool not PSG. Calm down. We have two more years to wait and keep on fighting. We are investing, not on players.. but on a new stadium. Once the revenue flow begins, we can invest on players. Meanwhile, trust on Maldini’s judgements. Did you just compare us to Madrid? Our income in 1/8th of Madrid, we aren’t anywhere near them at the moment. We are getting there. They can invest however they want. we however, can’t, not till we have a modern stadium that beings us a steady revenue.… Read more »

im not saying current madrid, i mean good ole madrid who had no hesitation investing in expensive players like anelka, mcmanaman etc. they were not as rich let alone as good as they are now under perez but theyre always willing to spend. as was old milan. and im not even asking for mbappes or haalands of the world. just keep ur stars by offering them respectable offers ffs. if nazidis said the salary cap’s set at 4-5m then its okay to let donna go, but definitely not romag or hakan. now even leao is starting to give ambiguous answer… Read more »

Real Madrid and Man Utd has ALWAYS been rich despite their position in league or UCL. There never was a time since 1970 that Real Madrid wasn’t rich. So I am not really sure which period are you talking about. Well, the only one we could’ve kept with money was Donna. But he had a greedy agent who asked 20 mil in commission. That was the obstacle, not Donna’s salary. Hakan was a snake. Milan offered the SAME as inter, 4.5M but he chose inter. Kessie doesn’t deserve anything above 6Mil. So Milan is right in their offers, in fact, no… Read more »

“Real Madrid and Man Utd has ALWAYS been rich” uh, wrong. madrid, and especially man utd, were nowhere this level in 90s, let alone 80s. the government backed up madrid but thats it. they had no buying power like they had/have under perez. nevertheless, they’ve always had that ambition to collect good players like redondo, suker etc even though clearly serie a was way more appealing back then. thats my point. they always had standards and ambition. they wouldnt touch meite or messias or castillejo or tata/mirante with 10 feet pole. regarding donna, he asked for 8-10m so its right… Read more »

Back in 70’s 80’s the transfer market wasn’t that big. Only the most popular and best players got calls from clubs like these. But most of the Major transfers.. always happened around Real and Man utd, they always bought the best players. If you are saying they didn’t, well, I will let this argument rest because knowledge difference is massive here and players like Cantona, george Hagi and Laudrop. .even the one you mentioned.. mcmanaman disagree with you lol Tansfer market wasn’t as happening back then as it is now since most clubs only opted form own national players. “But most of the Major transfers.. always happened around Real and Man utd” lol cantona was marseille reject who got dumped to epl (leeds utd). even lentini was more expensive than him. all the best players wanted to play in serie a. ask ince, gascoigne etc. even legends like zico, maradona, passarella, laudrup, dunga had to play in serie a minnows just so they could play in italy. and laudrup was juve’s reject who failed to replace platini and thus got dumped into la liga, where he became legend. just goes to show how strong serie a was back then.… Read more »

If you are saying a legend was rejected somewhere so it makes them less valuable is a weak argument mate. CR7 was rejected by Wenger so was he dumped into manu? No. Fergie saw potential when wenger didn’t thats about it. Serie A has always been strong as a league. La liga even at it’s best time wasn’t the strongest league but Real was always the richest club. That specifically what seperates Real from rest of the clubs in the world and yes specifically because it was backed by govt and dictators Real is the richest club which is true.… Read more »

“CR7 was rejected by Wenger so was he dumped into manu? No.” uh, the difference was, cantona was already established player, champion of england, when he moved to utd yet they bought him for mere 1.2m. cr7 and ibra were just kids when wenger “rejected” them, so ur argument is invalid. cantona waa nowhere near football star like baggio or san marco when utd bought him. ”Real was always the richest club.” that’s because they were backed by gvnt. but they never had that buying power italian clubs had back then. dont believe me? look at the list of most… Read more »

nice henry-esque finesse shot by leaonaldo fenomeno. too bad it narrowly went wide

Milan10

like i said, saladinho plays much better in the middle

dejan10

Diaz finally waking up? We’ve been playing with 10 men again so far.

SOHEIL

He has the talent and Brain but he is trapped in body of a 10 years old.

Center of field needs power. Even an AM needs some level of physicality.

We should try him at wings. Rebic is the proper AM we are missing but will Pioli try this? Nope.

Nesta1

Agreed

Rossi

I would swap Diaz/Salamakers places. Salamakers is bigger and can witstand the physical battles in the mid, he can also pull with the ball from the mid same as Diaz. So we can only gain something extra from that swap. Diaz has better acceleration and dribling, something that is requeried for a winger. So i think that would be a bit of an improvment for our RW as well. Seems like a win win situation really, it deserves a try.

SOHEIL

Leao – Rebic – Messias is the proper trio (in my point of view)

Rossi

O defenitley, thats my starting trio as well. I just think that Sala/Diaz would do better if they swap positions between them self, not saying that Diaz need to be the starter on the RW. Just that his qualities are better suited for a winger.

SOHEIL

I’m going to tell you a breaking news (Milan10 style)

Juve representatives are at Russia to sign Azmoun for free + Bonuses in winter transfer.
Inter representatives are talking to belotti agent tonight.

Gossip is that both deals are progressing well.

Belloti is a die hard Milan fan.

Both players are not considered good enough by our management & most fans. (Even for free)

Last edited 4 months ago by SOHEIL

I suppose if Belotti’s free but we need to invest in a young hot striker.

SOHEIL

We are so cheap that we don’t even spend on free players. Hot young striker would cost 50 to 100m. Not even in my dream I see such a deal with this owners

Rossi

Add PSG starting talks with Faivre on that list as well.

Nesta1

Leao on fire,

dejan10

THANK YOU, LEAO.

Milan10

nice effenberg-esque long probing pass by kruniesta and even better henry-esque finishing by leaonaldo fenomeno. good stuff.
like i said in 2019/20, if any milan players would be nominated for ballon d’or, it would be donna and/or leao the henry 2.0. man sometimes its nice to be right all time

Red and Black

Every team in Europe want Leao. That was not a joke.

Milan10

of course they do. who wouldnt want henry 2.0 in their team? luckily though, theyre not smart enough to spot his talent 1-2 yrs ago when he was still adapting and struggling and milan were not stupid enough to sell “niang 2.0”. all according to milan10ian plan

Dan Ban

Werent you the one calling his head at the beginning of the season ? Arguing hauge was better ? If not you i recall a few ppl here arguing for it

Milan10

i’ve always been the only one here who consistently praise leaonaldo fenomeno the king henry 2.0 since his arrival at milan. stop making things up. or better yet, prove what u said.
no way there are people stupid enough to say hauge is better than leao, r u kidding me?

Jay

From when did Theo become a preferred penalty taker ahead of Leao ?

Red and Black

I would prefer Leao to take the PK. Everybody miss from time to time.

milan4lyf

Finally.. Leao. What a player.

Hope we get at least over 150 mil from Man city for Leao. lol From what I am reading, Man city is serous about Leao and we surely aren’t financially strong enough to hold onto him against oil money. Hope we get to profit as much.

Milan10

is that you nazidis?

dejan10

We’re not Fiorentina.

milan4lyf

Either 150 mil next season or for free in 2 years I guess. We are our worst enemy.

Milan10

OR act like ac milan and extend his contract

milan4lyf

It doesn’t depend on the club alone. It also depends on the player. When teams like manCity is circling a player, we need to understand if we can actually hold onto a player or meet his wage demands or offer him the same prestige that teams like Mancity can offer.. PL title, UCL title etc. We cant win against Spezia, and we want to compete with ManCity.. ? That time will definitely come but It’s not the time yet for us. So, you have one year to sell leao that is 2023 which allows the player to just run down the rest of the contract with ease. Kessie, Hakan and Donna all three snakes said the same thing. It’s not their fault though, they did all they could to win. Blame the coach, lazy ass players and the so called management who wants a miracle without improving the quality of the squad. 9 shoots on target and 11 shoots off target. Yet only 1 scored goal. I hope some people here realized now why poor finnishing is a big problem which always comes back to bite us in tuffer games. Making us drop points which shouldnt be dropped if we really want to fight for a Scuddeto. Thats why some of us constantly repeat that we need a better striker, not becaouse they are “haters”. Maldini in the stands spreading his arms in disatisfaction after that wasted 1on1 chance sums this up perfectly.

or maybe u can be objective and praise spezia’s gk, who was clearly man of the match, alongside that ex inter player motta introduced in 2nd half. on good day, leao and salad could’ve scored but the gk was just too good tonite. the less said about messias’ disallowed goal the better. oh, and maldini was one of us when he clearly rued that missed chance by ibra, not because it was bad finishing, but because it was another chance wasted due to gk being so good. i know uninitiated like u always wait for bad results like before u… Read more »

Here we go again, just excuse after excuse. It was the reff fault, it was Spezia goalkeepers fault…anything but taking responsobility by our self. The gk didnt stop us from shooting more accurate (he even gave us a penalty), as someone above said the reff didnt stop us from taking our chances early on and going 2-0 up either….we had chances to even go 3-0 or 4-0 up and kill the game. If out of 20 shoots (9 on goal), plus a penalty, we scored only once that’s on us. Looking for excuses wont make our problems go away. Adressing… Read more »

i know the uninitiated are allergic to FACHTS but what the hell, time to educate. milan actually have 2nd best offense in serie a with 47 goals, only behind inter who so far has scored 50. therefore, blaming the offense for milan’s problem is baseless and idiotic. 9 shots on goal means milan were actually creating chances but sometimes the ball just wouldnt go in. it happens. do u know how many times bayern shot in ‘99 and especially ‘12 ucl finals? they lost both matches but do u think any sane person would blame their offense for that when… Read more »

Somehow you always manage to misunderstand the simplest point. Who claimed that we dont have more goals than Juve or Genova or Roma or whoever? Nobody. Compleatly irelavent to what i am talking. We scored a goal against Spezia yesterday as well but we still droped points, cause we missed a bunch of other chances to kill of the game. Same thing happened in other games where we droped points. “9 shots on goal means milan were actually creating chances.” That’s exactly what i m explaning to you above. Our main problem is not in creating chances, but in finnishing,… Read more »

9 shots on goal means theyre accurate enough. but spezia gk was stellar. on good day ibra, salad and leao could score those chances but vs spezia the ball just wouldnt go in. it happens. do u know how many shots on goal bayern registered in ucl final vs chelsea? they even missed penalty as well, exactly like milan did. but u cant blame anything except bad luck during that situation. u talk like milan just passed the ball around giampaolo style without actually got inside spezia pen box to shoot. nonsense

Rossi

I would have agreed that it is just bad luck if it was the first or second time that this happened. But when something happens over and over again you cant just blame it on bad luck.

Milan10

have u seen actual football matches before? there are literally zero matches in which a team generates 5 shots on goal and scored all 5. atalanta had 6 shots on target vs inter yet they scored 0 goals. bayern had 13 shots but only 2 on target including missed pen vs chelsea in 2012. does that mean theyre bad? nonsense. when the luck is against u and opposing gk has the game of his life then its normal u fail to score many goals. according to many sources, ibra actually was 2nd highest rated only below leao vs spezia, registering… Read more »

We hv been so lucky so many times already, playing bad and still win games. To think about it this is bound to happen.
But the ref……he deserve to get arrested or something.
Had goal stand, we would’ve gone defending full force knowing that we were 1 goal ahead with 3 minutes to go, and with big ass probability, win the match

Rossi

Yes we have been lucky many times before mate, and thats why i adrresed this same problems even in games when we won. I knew that sooner or later luck runs out and we will pay if we dont fix this problems in the meantime. As you say it was bound to happen. Saddly we didnt changed anything in the meantime so we dropped valuble points for the scudetto race. The ref made a mistake not giving advantage i agree, but in the end if we fixed our own problems we wouldn’t have been dependent on the ref in the… Read more »

Need to get more goals out of rest of team not just zlatan and leao scoring. Rebic as 10 should work, he’s good through middle and long range shots,

Rossi

Usualy i agree with you mate, but this time i think differently. Its good if the mids or a defender scored from time to time, but scoring is mainly the job of the strikers. The rest of the team has other responsobilities and can’t cover the job of the strikers all the time. Everyone pushing forward when we cant score is how we keep leaving ourself exposed at the back and letting teams like Spezia to score against us in the first place. So i dont think that the solution would be in players from the back and the mid… Read more »

Everyone pushing forward when we cant score”
every single team in the world does that. hell even gk pushes forward sometimes during corner kick situation in dying minutes. anyone who actually watches football knows that. are u kidding me? and serious teams have multiple goalscorers. look at chelsea, bayern and inter. blaming the actual topscorer for lack of goals is idiotic. the conversion rate could and should be better, yeah but its not conversion rate that made them lose last nite or vs sassuolo and vs fiorentina; its unbalanced defense, especially dm and fb.

Rossi

Gk running in corners in last minute of injury time has absolutley nothing to do with what we are talking about here. Your problem is that you just can’t follow a logical connection of events and see how one thing affects the other. If you keep pushing forward and cant convert your chances you will eventualy get punished. Leaving your self exposed at the back for long periods of time by throwing bodies forward, increases the chances of mistakes at the back, or succsesfull counters from the opposition being made as the time goes etc… This is exactly what happen… Read more »

milan were pushing forward after 90th min because they wanted to win. they could’ve but the ref wrongfully disallowed the goal. they even got caught up in counter attack situation. its perfectly normal, every team does that when they want to win. barca conceded that way so many times before, like in ucl semis vs chelsea. ur talking like milan played counter attack from 1st min. nonsense. milan are 2nd best attacking team in serie a and ur bs idea is that they have weak attack. lmao. watch football

Rossi

Milan didnt waited till 90min to start pressing as you claim. We were pressing high for most of the game as usual. Thats literatly our tactic. We just didnt took our chances that came from that pressing to kill of the game. And thats what came back to hunt us, simple. Also i was very precise in what our problems is in the attack, finnishing that is(from certain players). So dont try to spread the argument as if i am claiming that all of our attack is bad in general. Thats just false. And “ur talking like milan played counter… Read more »

pressing high is not the same as all out attack/everyone pushing forward. all top clubs including bayern, liverpool, 2 milan’s role models, does that too. but normally milan always had baka and one of fb as 3rd cb when they attacked. but in injury time, they all pushed forward hence that completely avoidable goal in min 96th. “Also i was very precise in what our problems is in the attack, finnishing that is(from certain players). So dont try to spread the argument as if i am claiming that all of our attack is bad in general.” ur stupidly implying milan… Read more »

Yes we did good in the 1st half cause we were able to stop Spezzia counters high up the pitch, but in short, as time went on and we couldnt close the game it was bound for some of those counter attacks to succseed (re read the comments above for more details)… Thats why you need to take your chances and kill of the game before the odds turn against you. At this point i dont think you even understand what finnishing is. To put it in the most simple terms for you, someone who scored 10 goals out of… Read more »

u make it sound like all they have to do is register shots on goals and by the law of averages, some of them mighy go in. like gk doesnt play big factor in the fact that. leao, salad and ibra all had big goalscoring chances but the gk just was at the top of his game. cant blame milan players for that. we should applause the gk instead, like normal people applaused cech for his outstanding performance vs bayern in 2012 ucl final

Gbenga AJOSE

Don’t let us deceive ourself guys..am not sure we are ready for Scudeto. Our playing pattern has been dotted with inconsistencies. Our management are not ready to improve the team with quality players.Lets just pray we don’t drop below 4th cos that’s what the owners are after

SJF

What a disaster!

Milan now have 4 losses. Thats not the form of a league winning team.
With Juve and Inter on the horizon, this feels like the final nail in our coffin.

As always we will continue to support but this loss hurts us, big time

Gems

Yes this 1 hurt bad
supporting milan isn’t good for your mental health

SJF

That’s what my girlfriend keeps telling me!

Cocor

Hand over the trophy to Inter.
Forza Milan

dejan10

The ref and injuries obviously played a part in our defeat tonight with 3/4 of our first choice defenders being out for most of the match (4/4 if you include Theo being in a coma). But what gets me is how we still can’t put crappy little teams like Spezia to bed with who we have available. I knew we were somehow going to screw up taking advantage of Inter’s draw last night but I didn’t think we were going to lose. At home. Again.

Riccardo Montolivo

I won’t blame anyone but the boys. Whenever Inter drop point they drop points too. It’s Spezia we are talking about FFS!!! This is on the guys on the pitch.

Roberto Giano

good bye this season. a new CB is urgent

Azzkikr

We need clear plan from the owner about what team Milan going to be in long term. Our transfer always seems to fix short term issue. Forget big name signing as we aren’t able to keep our own big name. 100 milion im assets loss for free last summer, and we are keep decreasing team value. Old fans can keep supporting this beloved club, but with no hope and no ambition they will leaving aniway. And then we end up with questions, what’s the point buying and running football club with no fans?

milan4lyf

There is a very clear plan.. Build a new stadium. We can’t win anything when revenue stream is the same as 1995 in 2022. Just buying random players with 30/40 mil won’t win you anything. If it did, we would’ve won scudetto under Gattuso back in 18/19 season because we bought Piatek paqueta Caldara Conti and co with almost over 100 mil. No real fan will be leaving milan if they hadn’t left after what they saw in last 10 years. Let Maldini do the work and have some patience.

dejan10

Expert analysis as usual by some fans on here… It’s the end. The season’s over. Even though we’re two points off Inter and it’s only mid January. We had our best midfield available: Kessie, Bennacer, TONALI, and best cbs: Kjaer and Tomori, and still we couldn’t win. Plus Spezia were perfect gentlemen on the pitch and the ref put in a near flawless performance. Oh wait.

Raven

Sheva and Angry Italians, both sarcastic trolls who unintentionally influenced people who just started watching football or following Milan.

Some think that being angry equals showing what a fan they are.

We finally have a coach that lasted over 1.5 season, a core of young stars and a solid management. The team finally made it into CL.

This team is playing good football and has a sustainable project that proved to be successful, specially after COVID-19.

It’s easy to talk with Monday’s newspaper on hand, there are several captain obvious around here.

Milan10

yo raven my boy. long time no talk. how’s everything? hope ur okay

Riccardo Montolivo

I’m Monty, we have kept our discussions all this time.

Well I lost my dad due to covid now I have more responsibilities and 4X the work. No complaints, it’s an honor to wear his shoes.

I’m the news guys in the best radio station of a very small city.

My dad was a Baseball guy, but damn, he started to like Milan, we often watched Milan games together. He even learned the name of some of the players.

lol I used the wrong account.

im so sorry to hear about your father. rip. nothing like watching milan match together with dad, family and close friends.
so ur raven? i see. i thought u became rb leipzig fan because andriy moved there haha. just joking

Raven

Thanks mate, I barely can watch football, don’t have the time nor the motivation, but my heart will always follow the rossoneri. Most of all of us endured a decade full of embarassment, now the heavy defeats against Roma and Napoli are a thing of the past. And watching Juventus return to their place on the standings is a joy. Sempre Milan

Milan10

oh come on mate. lets keep on watching milan. theyre on the rise now so its only right for us milanisti to witness and celebrate, because if anyone deserves joy and celebration its us who endured banter era

Timo

Milan didn’t play well last night. Milan failed to kill the game. That‘s all. Ref just made it worse but milan is main problem. Will you all still keep complaining about the ref if milan who recieved the advantage of bad officiating? No, will you?? So stop whinning. It is all on Milan itself!!

SJF

Its true. The ref was bad but Milan shud be able to finish teams like this earlier .

When your winning 1_0 there is always a big chance that some bad luck or refereeing can cost you.

Mulan dont know how to be ruthless

Azzkikr

totally agree with you! the refs was bad, but it is spezia ffs! it’s not like we facing direct rivals and lose because of refereeing mistake.. we faced spezia, unknown farmer club and lose.. We are constantly blaming injuries, but injuries especially muscle injuries are avoidable by preparation, its fitness coach job ffs! also, age make player riskier to injuries, yet our best starting player is so old and his backup isn’t much younger too plus our best CB is above 30’s. Covid is avoidable too. What I am saying is, you may have some player got injured, but if… Read more »

I know it hurts, but the owner had the mind to build this team to compete in Europa. We actually overachieved to be in CL. Sometimes, we just need to accept reality. I hope the owner can sell the club to someone who can splash more money. It doesn’t have to be reckless spending, but more allowance.

Milan has the most annoying way of signing players… I know Milan don’t have that much money… But we already have an almost complete team can’t we sign players of 25 to 30million again instead of all this garbage 10-12Million players… With our current scout we can easily get a word class potential player with 25-30M but we rather go for 7M 10M and 12M nonsense players… The truth is the management is killing this team.. with just a ST.. AM.. RW.. and CB we can compete in the CL better… ST Vlahovic or Scamacca.. AM mature one like Alberto… Read more »

Just read Milan didn’t found agreement with Monaco over Pellegri. He’s going back. Would be a good trade with Torino if concluded. Could get either Belloti or Bremmer in discount.
