We are going good. 2-0 at this moment. BUT it’s frustrating to see we are yet to have a full team available. it’s either covid, or injuries or whatever. For now, seems like the little vacation did good for Diaz and Giroud. They are playing very energetic
milan’s pressing game has been on point so far. great stuff
How did we find Krunic again?? Someone remind me. The guy is a hot mess. Very lackadaisical on the ball, bad control, slow decision making. He gave away the ball that even led to the corner kick that led to Roma’s goal. We really need to ship that guy out, sadly he’s Pioli’s lover.
I still don’t know what to name his famous move (turning 5 times around yourself before deciding what to do). I want to call it “The Rade” but Theo and Kessie are both master at doing it!
The referee was let murderous tackles flying around. He didn’t want to show any cards.
Kalulu is a god. Its like he is 35 and has taken control to guide his young partner.
Diaz been very sharp. Messias been a real danger. Tonali also really stepped up again.
We are lucky that Roma have been awful though.
Pity they got that goal. Its all to play for
For such a young players, both Gabbia & Kalulu are great. Considering not playing regularly for all season. (They allowed to make mistake)
We have the most underrated goalkeeper in the world.
And there is also Bakayoko in the game 🙂
At 60 mins, Milan look asleep. Its only 2-1, we need to bury this Roma team. They have been awful, and we are letting them back into it
Man, we need to get our heads back into this or we’re going to concede any minute.
No sign of rust from Leao, haha.
Not watching but I see Conti is playing.
He didn’t have enough time to ruin the game. He tried but the ref didn’t see his handball (actually 3 handballs in one incident)
I hope conti finds his place in the world. He was a great wing back and made a big effort to join Milan, pity it went so badly for him
Please just use your super power on him and Krunic next time.
why the F does ibra keep taking penalty? he keeps aiming at the same exact spot. disgusting
I told you 3 years ago 🙂 Ibra is done!
Kidding aside he got 7M for always being injured. I know the influence he has but Its time to move on. Ibra with his arrogance would never let a young striker grow. He wants everything for himself.
it was ibra’s fantastic lay off which set leaonaldo (niang 2.0 according to some certain uninitiated) through on goal which then led to 3rd goal that practically killed the game off. he also almost had an assist but maldini jr couldnt position himself better. he’s still got it and missing bunch of penalties has nothing to do with his on field qualities. just dont let him take penalties, simple. oh, and baka was immensely good
That’s so true bro.. I keep on saying the same thing
It is not his arrogance nor his fault. Milan main formation need only 1 striker, which mostly occupied by Ibra. Who is milan’s young striker do you think would develop under his wing? We simply don’t have any young striker. And if we don’t hv any, blame the management for not buying one
Pato was playing his best year when paired with Ibra upfront. It was a shame that his injury kept him away from making more impact.
Told you Ibra is crap now, he also missed that 1on1 from point blank range. Anyone can see that our attack is way more eficent when he is not playing… He did good the first year and raised the mentality of the team, now he is just a waste of 7mil realisticly.
lol, if missing penalties means bad performance then messi wouldnt have won 7 ballon d’ors.
oh, and ibra didnt miss, he passed the ball. its not his fault maldini jr wasnt romario. anyone who actually understand football knows milan looked so much dangerous with him and leao, rather than giroud and salad, on the pitch.
Not just the penalties.. If he tried to pass from such a position than that is his bad decision not Maldini’s. Should have buried it from there. Giroud is not perfect, but he moves a lot more and combines, opens space for the others. He is better right now. I read an article a week ago that Milan has scored double the goals this season when Ibra wasnt playing. Just shows you that he is more of a burden to the attack then help.
had he shot from tight angle like that then gk would’ve blocked it, like maignan did zaniolo in 1st half. it was sound decision to lay the ball off to teammate in the middle for simple tap in. had milan had cr7 i the middle they would’ve scored and ibra would’ve gotten 2 assists. besides, it was his intelligent movement and wall pass that allowed him to be in 1 on 1 situation in the 1st place. its not like his teammate served him the ball on silver platter for a simple tap in. anyone who cant see that is… Read more »
90% of the old guys of this blog left, and I think is for not having time or energy to debate stupid things like Zlatan at Milan. As most doesn’t know a thing about football all they can do is complain “because Milan is a giant thus we have to win everything.” If I’m angry I show what a loving fan am I. Right? I rarely come anymore and it’s due to comments like Zlatan is a waste of money, selfish and bad for the other strikers. Im tired to say watch more football. Football is not meant to be… Read more »
this.
thanks for explaining it further mate. u know ur football so hereby i knight you; you are member of milan10ians brotherhood now haha
And who is denying his past acomplishments ? But when its time to move on its time to move on. 90% of the people left because they cant have a proper discusion here without the Ibra/Ronaldo/Messi type of people calling them haters or whatever. Exactly what you are doing in half of your comment. The level of discusion went down to simple hype where if we win its all great just yell forza Milan, and if we lose then just yell Pioli out. Analizing games and talking about where we can improve become a sin on this blog, automaticly giving… Read more »
ibra is milan’s topscorer. he’s scored more goals than belotti and morata. only milan haters (read: interisti) and full on fvkn fuckwits would want him to stop playing for milan
You really hate him, do you? It was a tight angle. He is 40 years old and has faced that situation many times before. it was the right decision
Ah if it was the right decision it would have led to a goal. And yea thats what i said he is 40years old we need a better striker.
Go back to playstation dude. Milan is building a stadium, investing in young gems. Look at Juve, they spend and they end up with almost nothing. Spending that much and not lifting the CL is a disaster for them, and their finances and spot on the table shows it. The word is sustainable, even if I don’t agree Gazidi’s plan is sustainable, and so far they are overachievers. A guy as good as Ibra would coat at least 50m. Look at Piatek what a joke. Want a better striker? There is Haaland but surprise surprise FFP, sustainable growth ( low… Read more »
I will take a 40 year Old Zlatan any day to the present Giroud
Cos Zlatan missed a PK he is now the worst player in the world?
That is drawing comparison with Giroud that runs like a horse?
The way I see this team, they need that constant reminding to not slack and Ibra is the man for that. If you’re being honest you won’t deny that he’s among the best strikers in the league, dare I say among the top 6 strikers. Maybe he’s not what he was 10 years ago but we can’t deny that most of the resurgence started with him. Even Kessie got better and now feels like “the president.”
dont bother mate. these “leao is niang 2.0, florenzi was bought to play rw and he’s bad, ibra is bad, hakan is bad” uninitiated brigade have been around for a while and we cant talk football with them. just watch ibra’s world class lay off to leao to appreciate how immense his impact has always been.
The world class “lay off” went from Smaling foot. But whatever floats your boat mate.
ibra purposely chested the ball towards leao’s path. anyone who actually watched the match knows leao even started running when the ball was still in the air, WAY before ibra even touched the ball, meaning they knew exactly what theyre doing. they must’ve trained it so many times during training sessions.
if maldini, capello and even pioli himself said ibra is important for milan then who tf are u
Lol did it came of Smaling foot or not? As alwayes you ignore what dosent suits you. There was clearly a lot of luck in the whole situation. And if anything Leao sprinted half a field after that “lay off”. So if anyone deserves praise for that goal is Leao. But you are truying to make it as if Ibra was the one who did all the hard work simply cause that suits you. Same reason why are you blaming Maldini for Ibra destroying that 1on1 chance. Just ask your self why did our attack started to work again when… Read more »
had it only come off smalling’s leg (not foot), the ball would’ve bounced forward towards milan half. ibra deliberate chested it towards leao (who ran towards ibra knowing full well he’d laid off the ball)’s path. ”But you are truying to make it as if Ibra was the one who did all the hard work simply cause that suits you” lol who said that? stop assuming things to suit ur stupid agenda. of course leao played biggest part in his goal but without that smart lay off he wouldnt have scored. FACHT ”But you are truying to make it as… Read more »
So the ball came of Ibra rebound in to Smallig then on to Leao head who then had to sprint over half a field to get 1on1 vs the keeper. And that is “world class” lay off by Ibra acording to you, if that is not pushing a narative where you want to give him more credit for the goal than he actually deserves i dont know what is. Destroying his own 1on1 chance is also somehow Maldini’s fault acording to you, penalty miss is not bad performance again acording to you. Bunch of excuses really for all the negatives… Read more »
last night chiesa also scored a deflected goal but its still his goal. its the same case with ibra, he chested the ball, it was a bit deflected but its still going on intended trajectory: towards leao’s path. thats world class lay off, and he’s done it so many times before like during that 4-2 derby loss vs conte’s inter or hakan’s goal vs samp. leao could only ran free through on goal because ibra won the air duel with smalling and laid the ball off to him. thats a FACHT. if u dont understand that then football is not… Read more »
Why hater is so stupid? Hahaa…
ur comment reminds me of that old metallica song, “sad but true” lol
There was a difference between the intention with proper technique (which Ibra did flawlessly), and the unskilled Krunic (I do give him credit for been brave and relentless). Krunic can be a good DM.
Yea thats what i said. He was important, he started the resurgence but thats in the past now. Its time to move on.
I hate to say it but Ibra has lost his penalty magic.
Mate Ibra has been bad all together. Constantly in offsides, missing chances, not pressing, not moving to open himself…He is 40 after all, we need a new striker.
Don’t know bro. I just feel that he brings that extra something when he’s on the field. I don’t know if we have players that’ll shield and lay the ball off the way he did and it’s those things which you’d probably consider little that can change a whole game if not determine the game.
The problem is he can hardly get to the ball now to shield it, since he hardly walks on the field (which stalls our attack). The best he can do is get something out of scufles thanks to his size. Not enough for a team which is serious about the scudetto.
Ibra created the third goal by the way. Anyone who says he isn’t good anymore doesn’t have a clue about futbol. He doesn’t just score or pass, he draws defenders to him like magnet and opens up space for others.
Sure Leao running half a field by him self had nothing to do with it. (I already explained this to you above) Well a lot of people are saying he is not good enough any more. People like Sacchi or lately Altafini, but what do former Seria A and CL winners know about football. As long as they dont agree with you that means that they dont understand football, sure. As i said what ever floats your boat mate.
“Sure Leao running half a field by him self had nothing to do with it.” nobody said that. but without that smart lay off, we wouldnt have been able to do that ”People like Sacchi or lately Altafini, but what do former Seria A and CL winners know about football” lol altafini and sacchi never said ibra’s not good enough. stop assuming things to fit ur stupid agenda. what altafini said was, ibra should be used as impact sub who can change the game in latter part of the match, just like how himself play during his latter part of… Read more »
Lol and saying that he shouldn’t be a starter any more but a sub means what ? No matter which way you twist it, it alwayes ends up that he is not good enough to be in the first team any more. Btw instead of using fake profiles to push your point next time, rather build up better arguments mate. Im out, have a great new year.
are u slow? meaning milan only have 2 st available hence pioli needs to manage ibra’s game time well or else he might get injured again. altafini never shared ur nonsense that ibra’s not good enough anymore. and this game time mgmt is not only limited to ibra; pioli also does that to rebic and leao. as for fake profiles, whats with the uninitiated and their constant accusing other people of having multiple accounts? lmao. what the hell is the point? i get downvoted when i said leao, silva, paqueta, maldini, hakan, ibra, pioli etc are good. i get downvoted… Read more »

Lol i literally set you up to come with your real accaount. But as usual it was to complicated for you to see it. if you think there are grown men who would go so far as to create multiple accounts on football blog just so he can back up his own argument and “attack” (thats what u uninitiated call me when i shove FACHTS down ur throats right?) others then clearly you have trouble assessing how real world works. who has time and inclination to do such nonsense? ”Ibra with whom we dropped 11points as a starter (out of 12)” uh, care to show me ur source on this? dropped 11 points out of 12? thats 1 draw in 4 games. when did… Read more »
You are on this blog 24/7 arguing with people, half of the comments on all posts are made by you, so if anyone has the time thats you for sure. You never state facts just straw man arguments whit which you keep avoding the real facts that dont suit you (As you are trying to do now with Dzeko). Milan droped 12 points in seria A, 3losses and 3draws. Out of which in 3losses and 2draws (11points) Ibra was the starter. That is a Fact. His lack of movment/pressure and weak finnishing was the reason why we keept throwing bodys… Read more »
“You are on this blog 24/7 arguing with people” lol hyperbolic much? writing comment on blog shouldnt take > 5 mins for ordinary people, let alone football jedi like yours truly. besides, i wouldnt write so many comments if it wasnt for typical dumb “ibra, leao, andre silva, paqueta, maldini, pioli are bad for milan and they should go” nonsense from uninitiated like urself. “You never state facts just straw man arguments whit which you keep avoding the real facts that dont suit you (As you are trying to do now with Dzeko).” dzeko, like ibra, IS slow. FACHT. dzeko,… Read more »
LoL, Soheil accused me of the same thing hahahaha, you guys do care about that like dislike ratio. That’s so sad… You guys need approval in order to sleep well at night
Some of the unaware trolls have been on this blog for quite some time, and they havent learn this, it’s too complex for them. They must watch football just to take a selfie IDK
ahh so by ur logic inter are the biggest dumbasses of serie a for playing slow st like dzeko as their main targetman right? screw these milanese clubs for playing slow strikers right? milan and inter could be at the very top of the table if they played lightning fast st like obafemi martins or dembele, hell even morata or martial, oh wait
It’s a videogame thing, the game is made for kids and kids doesn’t know shit about football, so the game is stupid easy when you have fast players. In their restrictive knowledge of football they won’t understand the role of a slow striker mate. You will fry their brains out
lol some of my friends and even my uncle and dad used to play roberto carlos as striker on ps 1’s winning eleven/pes 4 because he was fast and had the best shoot power. good times.
seriously though, some of the best st playing today like benzema, vlahovic, lewi and dzeko arent fast
Its all about timing and positioning, that’s the way I see it.
However, the other way to see it is that the ST as the first defender, a guy like Belotti/Leao–Rebic would be great
I answered to all of your comment’s in one replay in your first comment above.
u didnt answer jack shit with your typical dumb arguments. in fact, sometimes i wonder if ur just here to troll, because no way normal people can be this dumb. “ibra is crap” ibra is milan’s topscorer with 7 goals in 12 games. thats at least a goal every 2 games. how is that bad? and u repeatedly said milan should get belotti. if 7 goals ibra is bad (according to ur dumb logic) then what does that make 2 goals belotti? LMAO ”leao is crap, florenzi is bad transfer because he’s bad rw” LMAO. i repeatedly said florenzi was… Read more »

Bad all together? Mate, He is our highest goal scorer this season
LOL Ibra can only shoot penalty at one direction
but great win nonetheless, especially with 3 of main center backs missing
and also fantastic comeback by Leao
Well i think we can be very happy with that result with all the players out.
Saying that Roma were not there at all today.
So lets enjoy but not get carried away
It’s always nice to stuff Mou 🙂 Let’s hope Inter screw up next.
who tf downvoted this comment? interista detected
they don’t read the comment, just the name. My best guess is he has done nasty things to their wives for them to hate him this much. LOL
by wives u mean their right hands? no way shut in virgins who never see sunlight and touch grass have actual wives
Great to see positive performances from Diaz, Messias, Tonali, Leao, Mike and of course Kalulu.
We really need these guys in top form for the coming weeks
You can see we can have 2 dangerous winger: Leao and messiah. Let’s keep Messias.
agree except Diaz
Very important win. In general i was expecting a win but those covid cases in defence got me woried. Kalulu and Gabia however did really well against strong strikers like Abraham and Zaniolo. When the team is rested Pioli tactics work once again. Since as i said in the past his tactics are very dependend on energy(a lot of running). Some players had their usual mistakes like Krunic and Ibra in the end but nothing can be done about that from Pioli. You work with what you got. The subs were good as well acording to me.
what a match. congrats to john malkovich and the boys for the hard fought win and for 100% record vs mourinho. i watched atalanta 1-4 roma and i thought they would’ve put up better fight tonite, especially considering theyre only missing spinazzola and milan are missing 8 players, milan’s high pressing game caused them to make error after error. maignan was scary good with his casillas-esque reflexes and neuer-esque sweeper/gk positioning what a bargain he turns out to be. the makeshift young defense was equally as stellar. gabbia still got beaten by pacy abraham and zaniolo (tonali and maignan did… Read more »
He WAS niang 2.0! He arrived as a spoiled kid with bad attitude. Now he is tenacious and gives his 100 on the pitch and that’s thanks to surprise surprise Ibra. (Before anyone start any dumb discussion start reading interviews)
i never had doubts about his talent, but Niang was also a wonderkid look at him, want a better example? Look at Balotelli, he could be a star at Milan playing at his prime but he was not professional.
Leao arrived as a kid now he is a different man.
i really dont think he had bad attitude. did he jump from rooftop straight into a pool below or throw darts at primavera players or set his own house on fire or any other nonsense niang end especially balo used to do? no. a bit lazy on the field maybe but his attitude wasnt bad. he’s wannabe rapper but as long as he trains and plays well, so what? anyone needs a hobby.
One issue I have with Pioli, last year and this year, give your subs some playing time!!! Last season we had issues in defence and had to call on Kalulu (had never played a senior game) and Duarte. It worked out because Kalulu is special. So today we have a situation where Gabbia comes in (who did well last season) and is expected to fill the hole in defence. Surely to god he could be given some minutes against small teams or when we have a comfortable lead. It is not fair to give him no time to keep his… Read more »
Pioli please stop using Krunic.
Diaz played better but still not at his best. He shouldn’t be a starter. Let him play from the bench and give him time
Pioli should use Rebic at AM. With Leao, Ibra and Messias we will score more goals using Rebic behind Ibra or Giroud. Diaz can’t score goals. He doesn’t have it in him.
I’ve said that, zlatan leao, messias and rebic as 10 is scary. Rebic scores alot of goals from center and more physical than diaz.
Totally agree. We would have the best attack in Serie A and Rebic can easily adapt to this role. I hope Pioli do it. This would be an exciting attacking team with that option.
I hope Milan dont blow the budget on another defender.
We have 5 players for central defence 4 of them are fit (bar covid) and we have Caldara on loan.
Surely a fit striker is the priority!
After that we need an attacker like Faivre.
After that we could use a midfielder thats better than Krunic/Baka
A back up left back better than Toure be nice.
Only then shud we consider another defender, and we shud probably wait till summer to see what Romangoli does.
I do believe with time and practice Gabbia and Kalulu have big futures
Yeah I don’t understand this panic for a cb! So we buy botman and them we have 6 of them. We need faivre in case messias not available so saladman stays on bench. We shouldn’t be without rebic and leao at same time again hopefully and having pace on both wings is essential to our attack
Look at all the goals we received without Tom. Romagnoli is done for me. We urgently need a CB. But the management is cheap, they most likely will ruin Kalulu’s career as RB just to not spare money.
We have Giroud, Leao, Rebic, Zlatan, all strikers. The best from their countries.
WC winner and 2nd place. Zlatan in your face Ibrahimovic and one of the hottest talent in Europe.
FFS, who can improve this team? Kane, Haaland, Lewandowski? Don’t get me started with Vlahovic, we are not in the position to take gambles
Well signing another defender now is likely to push romagnoli out. We dont want to lose him for nothing and he is still a good option in defence. Best we wait till summer. In terms of strikers Pellegri is done, Ibra and Giroud cant play every week due to age and injury. It has been a major problem in the first half of the season, and that will be the same in the 2 nd half. Honestly at this point we dont need a superstar, just someone fit enough to play regularly and carry some of the burden. Belotti at… Read more »
