Terrible performance, and terrible result.

Almost everyone who deserved praise against AM deserves scolding today. From Pioli (with terrible subs), our sloppy and vulnerable midfield, and I don’t even want to talk about our CBs. If I have to give a good word to someone I would mention jr messiahs, and maybe maybe Florenzi.

Everyone else feel embarrassed. Disgusting.

Well said. And I put Maignan performance on Pioli and our shitty medical team. It was obvious he isn’t 100% even from his standing. And tata have been reliable enough

well, that was shithousery. milan started the match well but they botched so many 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 situations because, unlike hakan or rebic (he played as am occasionally at frankfurt), brahim, leao and theo couldnt deliver proper final ball to ibra. the less said about salad as rw the better. on top of that, milan couldnt defend properly without tomori’s pace and kessie’s kante-esque tireless hustling and ballwinning abiity. also, inter flood opponents gk box with players whenever they have dead balls to confuse opponents defences but milan defence likes doing exact same thing, only they… Read more »

Theo is a very lazy player and his attitude sucks. He has no business playing in a 4 man defense cos he’s terrible at defending. He will thrive in a 3 man defense. Romagnoli on the hand is the worst defender in one on one situations but I know he’ll thrive in a 3 man defense too. Ibrahimovic basically walks around on the pitch. We are so horrible and we’ve been this horrible for a while. We’ve just been lucky. Same thing happened last season where we started well stayed in first and then lost so many points that it… Read more »

I think Pioli should try Theo at left midfield – I think that would be better fitting since he cares more about attacking than defending.

We should play 3-5-2

Kalulu – Kjaer – Tomori
Calabria – Tonali – Bennacer – Kessie – Theo
Rebic – Leao

Call me crazy or anything you want. With Theo as LB, Roma in 2 man defence, Salad as a winger and “Oldies” as our attackers, we would always fight for UCL qualification.

my 2016/17 vision right there. just swap kessie with ben so kessie can play dm and bento can play double playmaking cm like luis alberto – sms, hakan – barella or legendary haessler – moeller combos, and we’re good.

Yeah I like a good old Anchor man in front of our defense. But with Kessie showing his inner Ronaldino in front of our goal (sometimes), he would be an accident waiting to happen.

Anyway that will not happen. Pioli 4-2-3-1 would be here for years.

well, like i said during giamfanculo era, ben’s actually lcm or am when he won afcon and he cant play lone dm either because he’s too small. he’d be giving away pens and receiving reds playing there like he did playing as dm in that abysmal 4-3-3 era (remember fiorentina game in which leao scored henry-esque solo goal?). kessie needs slap from time to time but he has the ability and physique to be dm. the less said about kessie’s attacking “ability” as attacking cm the better

with 3-5-2 DM actually play like a libero, he should defend yes, but most importantly he should starting attack.. that’s why kessie lack of vision and passing range become burden.. otherwise, pirlo can working well as DM at Juve with Conte 3-5-2 albeit lack of physicality..

Yeah at first we should convince Pioli to switch to 3-5-2 then we can fight over the DM position 🙂

one can be libero-esque dm if he has the skills, like pirlo, matthaeus or sammer. those who dont can be like lucas leiva, brozovic, matic dll; just win the ball cleanly and pass the ball to those skillful playmaking cm in front of u. no fuss, no muss. just dont get outmuscled like ben did twice vs porto

You just confirm my statement with your examples.. those guys you mention have decent passing range..

who, lucas leiva and matic? nah mate, theyre no pirlo 2.0 when it comes to long passing. their style is more similar to makelele or deschamps: pure dm. my point is, ben has been tested as lone dm during giamfanculo ill fated era and he failed miserably; giving away pens and getting yellow and red cards left and right. of all milan dm, kessie and tonali could play there in 3-5-2 system, but tonali’s offensive abilities would be wasted. like i said, he needs to bomb forward like modric

Milan lost the two league matches Tomori missed and conceded 7 goals in the process. I guess Tomori is the pillar of our defence, not kjear

Or his replacements are shitty

I said a few weeks back
if tomori gets injured we are fucked .
waste to many chances
And ibra offside every time
then give up shit goals

Diaz has been crap since covid
our last pass in attack woeful every time
we waste to many chances from good attacking situations ,not clinical enough in front of goal.
silly mistakes at the back and losing possession to easily in bad areas leading to goals .
shiukdnt have rested kessie 1st half
and kalulu should have started instead of florenzi ,
Mike shouldn’t have been rushed back yet

My take on this game is that we paid for our high line. Playing high line takes a lot of energy, constantly pressing that high. Its crucial when you play so high to either be clinical in front of goal or to be physicly better prepared and keep the high pressure thru the game forcing your opponents back. We had none of the two. Our energy was already depleted from the start since we were fatigued from the hard Atletico game. You can see how we dominated for the first 20min and then we kind of rapidly started to slow… Read more »

Playing high line works if you have pressing forwards. Ibra & Leao are walking. (Leao was lazy to even get out of offside for more than 20 seconds in one incident). Diaz can’t press. And our defensing midfielders and defenders are always covering for players like theo. So we are just high leaving space for wingers and strikers.

In general high line requers energetic players. I think you have a good point with the covering.

I think we showed we can press against better teams, even with two slow CBs (but with Kessie helping them). Today everyone was way off form, probably drunk from the CL victory. But yeah, we should have been way more decisive and clinical in the first half when we went forward. No doubt.

Agreed, we have showed that we can press high even against much better teams. I think fatigue from the Atletico game played a big role today in the way we pressed.

TONITE ON LIKE MILAN10 SAID ”Milan10  8 days ago TOPSCORING BRAZILIANS IN EUROPE’S TOP LEAGUES IN 2021 joao pedro (cagliari): 15 goals lucas paquelme (AC MILAN): 13 m. pereira (wba): 10 gabriel jesus (man city): 9 neymar (oil crap): 9 BRAZILIAN MOST INVOLVED IN GOALS IN EUROPE’S TOP LEAGUES IN 2021 lucas paquelme (ACM): 18 (13 goals, 5 assists) man, between andriy “the giant” silva (4th in europe’s golden boots and paquelme, milan players are really KILLING IT. oh wait” aand paquelme just scored a goal tonite. so he’s had another goal AND assist since i wrote that thus its… Read more »

Bakayoko facepalm bakayoko

Lost two games in a row now 6point the league is wide open can’t say for sure but the boys need to act up on their foot faster

andriy “the giant” silva, like paquelme earlier today, just scored again. thats 2 goals in 4 days. meanwhile, rangnick’s prodigal son missed pen. levels.
who needs silva and paquelme when u have pellegri and krunic right?

Let’s not dwell in the past the deed has been done the management know what to do get a good rw and a good fast cb January and we good

those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. many, excluding milan10ians of course, bitched about those 2 back then. well, paqueta is now brazil’s regular, unlike that pothead neres. now the uninitiated start again with their #pioliout, romag out, ibra out nonsense. ance wants romag at madrid ffs. they think they know football better than him? *sigh

St is must in January

Gbenga AJOSE

We just succeeded n trashing 6 golden points.
My take:
1. Looks like fatigue affected us.
2. No quality substitution
3.Pioli should have changed formation when the boys were showing fatigue.

This is the price to pay when you don’t have quality bench and you want to play well in the League and Champions League ..We won against AT. Madrid and we lost to mid table team
We need to buy more quality players or we need to focus on one aim.

It’s a mistake from Maldini by renewing Pioli’s contract. He hasn’t won anything. Not yet qualified in UCL, not yet winning the half season.

Romagnoli should go as soon as possible. This situation is similar to Montolivo situasion. A captain who is not reliable anymore. A captain who is not really a leader.

Even though I have been heavily bashing pioli in the past, this game, I have to say Pioli did everything in his power to win by bringing in the subs. The problem was, our players underestimated Sassuolo way too much and their body language showed it. After the first goal, our players thought it was gonna be a walk in the park and stopped playing. Just because Sassuolo was in 13th position in the league, I don’t understand why our players thought they could just walk around and win. We are not invincible. Blaming individual players would be wrong, so… Read more »

This Washington terrible but its a long league l’età ,Ostia focus on Liverpool and win tiene the serie is gong to’ go good ibracadabra need ti benedica captain in this squad forza Milan

Roberto Giano

Ibra know how to kick the bag hard. but may be forget to kick the ball with accuracy. lol. see his instagram

Good game at home acmilan.shit like that makes fans sad

While everybody is angry that Milan gave away cheap 3points, I am more pained because I lost 54k because of Pioli’s silly gamble. I have every reason to hate him but I won’t!

I don’t know why everyone scared ibrahimovic players, couch, funs, that asshole is the problem we have milan need hardworking and goalscoring st not slow and walking ibrahimovic

Amos K. Dennis

Well, the taste of defeat is usually bitter..that’s what others have tasted from us, let not get blown away by this, let work on our deficiency….yes, we can do better…Liberia is following.

The number of ads in this website is getting out of hand.

Dubbed the new Nesta, turned out Phil Jones. Sad.

Doesn’t look like a good signing giroud now, spent more time with injuries off pitch then on it. Especially with rebic out for a while that leaves a untested striker and a 40byr old zlatan who can’t play all time. Just hope leao can stay fit or we are in trouble, but playing all these games, something got to give.

It’s not wise to rely on old players. Last year: Ibra & Mandzo
This year: ibra & Giroud
Strange enough our third back up is a 20 years old who is basically injured since he was 16

Gbenga AJOSE

The problem is that we don’t want to spend. The excuse has been that we want to balance the book and comply with financial fair play.. To me , it looks like stinginess on the part of Elliot…I understand that times are hard but in the business world , some risks are necessary and most times , you need spend to make more money.

Why didn’t there give our Leonardo best youth player smile

Colombo scored again. He really looks like the future Milan no. 9.

Not right away of course. If we could sign a good forward who is fit and also give Colombo time, we would be sorted

espn just released their top 10 list and isak is #9 while ibra is right below him on the list of top 10 st. theo is #3 on top 10 lb whereas hakimi is #1 on top 10 rb list. tadic is #9 on top 10 forward list while ts33 and lucas paquelme both are #8 on top cb and am lists respectively. those are names i’ve been recommending milan to get since at least 3 yrs ago, none of those crappy players like neres, malen, jovic and the likes. like i said, just do what milan10 said, reasons can… Read more »
