Ante Rebić will be missing the game against Fiorentina at the very least, after picking up an injury on Friday.
Rebić returned to action just before the break, coming off the bench against Inter. He was supposed to play from the start against Fiorentina tomorrow, but unfortunately he’ll have to skip the game.
“Rebić was fine, then in today’s session he felt a twinge following a backheel and he’ll not be in the match tomorrow,” coach Stefano Pioli said in today’s press conference.
As reported by Milannews.it, Ante had to walk out of training today due to a flexor player. The Croatian felt pain and had to leave the session. The extent of his injury will be assessed in the coming days and there is still no word on whether he’ll be able to face Atlético Madrid on Wednesday.
Rebić has played 11 games this season, scoring twice – once in Serie A and once in the Champions League. In his absence, Rafael Leão will start on the left wing against the Viola.
