Olivier Giroud is ready to return to action and could be on the bench against Spezia in two days.

After beating Venezia 2-0 at San Siro last night, today Milan got back to training ahead of Saturday’s match against Spezia at Stadio Alberto Picco.

Last year Milan lost the fixture away at Spezia and when they look at Inter and Napoli who keep getting wins, the Rossoneri know that they can’t slip up in order to keep up with their main opponents.

Today coach Stefano Pioli got a great boost ahead of the game on Saturday, as Giroud trained regularly with the squad. Olivier is the only one of the unavailable men who could be back for Spezia, as the rest all trained individually today and are still not ready to make their return.

Davide Calabria, Simon Kjær and Zlatan Ibrahimović are all expected to be back in time for the Atlético Madrid game or the Atalanta match before the break at the latest.

Some sort of Good news we shouldn’t rush Ibra against Atlético but if he is ready like fully ready sure he can play but if he is not Giroud will fill in the space and trust me it’s a win match against Atlético I trust in the boys to perform very well and win

Still wish we went all in for tammy abraham, young not injury prone. Having 2 old strikers is a gamble, one yes and then tammy. There’s no bigger admirer of zlatan than me and giroud is class, but it’s still risky.

You can’t go all in, when you don’t have money….our budget was limited. Same reason we didn’t buy a proper RW.
