Ibra, leao, wow

Milan10

“he can do better, ibrahimovic”
no shit commentators, the guy has scored >500 official goals

Ronaldinho80

I think our midfield is on steroids. Tonalli and Kesse are in great physical shape

Ronaldinho80

I also like how our golie is quickly throwing ball forward for quick counter. Dona had never done that

Rosso Joburg

Really? I think he is scum but he often threw out and started many counters.

Last edited 1 year ago by Rosso Joburg
Ronaldinho80

According to my memory he usually runs forward and then he steps back and starts attack from behind he also loves to have the ball in his possesion which can be irritating bacause off his poor ball control skills. I do agree that he has long throw but i am damn sure that he cant kick the ball like Maignan even for his life

dejan10

And after his team hacking at Milan for 90 min Sarri gets sent off – hilarious!

ZionTrain

This team has improved a lot and our defense is the best in Serie A. Great display and dominant midfield from Milan. Great team performance.

another footballing feast at san siro. man, john malkovich really builds quite some team here. i saw juve, atalanta, inter matches and milan are so much better than them. milan can play at such a high tempo but can lower it at will; a true sign of world class, well drilled team. maignan and the defensive line did so well. like i said, romag is good cb, albeit a bit slow. tomori’s fast, no nonsense approach really complement his game. both fullbacks did great both on defensive and attacking phases. lazio scored 9 goals totalled in previous 2 matches, mind… Read more »

You’ve got a stomach made of steel – I can’t watch Inter or Jube games without throwing up.

Ronaldinho80

Juve and Inter are still playing in 90ties. And that is very mildly put

Milan10

well mate, i like to see how well milan’s rivals are doing so i’ll know what to expect. also, im a football fan so naturally i like watching football matches whenever i can (duh). and judging by what i saw, milan are much better

Charlie

I thought this was meant to be a “real test”. Hmm

Ac milan

Ya, and we passed with A+.

Nino

Great game. Good win. 3 points in the bag.

Shane about Bakayoko’s injury. Hope it’s not too serious.

I think Ibra and Giroud can co-exist perfectly. Giroud is perhaps more clinical at the moment.

Somehow, glad that Kessie didn’t score. Somehow, hope he sees he’s not indispensable. Happy he wasn’t booed. It just seem karma has a way of letting you know, you’re not as important as you think.

The team was really good.

Now, to Anfield.

Forza Milan.

Baresis Dream

Great match, though I couldn’t watch the final minutes after Sarri got banned, so hopefully nothing too bad happened after that. We dominated most minutes of the match, at least with our starting 11, and made Lazio look much less dangerous than they really are. And this is despite the super aggressive, at times violent match, by Lazio. Great great match by Tonali, as well as our two CBs, and a shoutout goes to Rebic with his 2 assists, the second one really marvelous, despite playing most minutes out of position. Pioli’s subs seemed too early for me, and a… Read more »

Rossi

Great game, espesialy from the deffence. Lazio hardly created anything, and they are the team who scored 9goals in 2games, that speaks volumes of how good our deffence was. The attack can be a bit more clinical, we still tend to waste chances which could be a problem in the CL. Induvidual, Florenzi didnt look like some upgrade to Sale but his passing is better and that helped our game flow. Tonali was supurb, he was everywhere.

So, nobody here wants to tell us what Hauge did this weekend? How about Silva?

Milan10

how about italy nt who just broke brazil + spain’s 35 match unbeaten record? such an embarrassing team. with donneuer, who’ll soon break his leg and thus ends his career according to some pundit, between the posts, no less. lmao

Phildaddon1899

Wait what? Can you elaborate on this?

Milan10

“Baresis Dream 3 months ago I hope he breaks a leg and ends his career. F’ck you Donna! And take your brother with you.” “Baresis Dream 4 days ago Reply to Ted I blame dollaruma for leaving for free; leaving the club who discovered him, nurtured him, and made him rich – for nothing. Screw him. Hope he breaks a leg.” “Baresis Dream 3 months ago Reply to Nathan Graegin The Italian NT is an embarrassment, despite what the papers want you to believe. Apart from Barella, Verati, and the snake, I don’t see anybody there who is really world… Read more »

Haha nice Batman reference. Yeah that’s disgusting. Italy won the Euro so obviously this guy ain’t too bright

SOHEIL

Hauge would have been a great alternative to Diaz. we made a mistake selling him for such a little money even if we have scored 10 goals tonight. actually not related at all.

Agustinar

we ? not me

Baresis Dream

He could have, not sure how good of an alternative. Not sure he would do more than Krunic tbh. And we need to generate some income if we are going to keep giving players for free

SOHEIL

But we are spending most of it for Messias. I dong get it. What’s the gain if we get 12 for Hauge and lose 9 to Messias (that may be a good player but he is 30 yeRs old). Instead of such a panic buy, we could have trusted a player who played great football for us in a short term he was with us.

And now they use him as AM & RM in his club and national team. The position Pioli believes isn’t suitable for him.

Milan10

1. theres big chance that milan consider messias only to be a good once over, a useful player for a season, before they discard him to get better rw when opportunity arrives mercato. kinda like how milan ditched meite to make room for baka. and if messias actually shines like kjaer, brahim, tomori and other ex-loanees, THEN milan may redeem him. its practically low risk high reward deal. brilliant move by maldini 2. i love hauge (wish he would come back next season) and i repeatedly said last season that him, brahim, leao and rebic could play on both wings.… Read more »

Some people here only talk about them when they do something good… I do miss Hauge, and he is young but for example, people are so upset about hakan… and hakan this, hakan that and how he was such a great player for us… well. here is his rating on their last game… Calhanoglu – 6: Hakan has been getting progressively worse since his red-hot debut against Genoa (and we can’t say Milan fans didn’t warn us). He had only 37 touches Sunday, lost possession 11 times, had no key passes, and put both of his shots off target. Calhanoglu did… Read more »

What a beautiful and pure victory, bravo team !!!

Jay

Kessie renewal is important !

Milan10

kessie didnt even took part in the victory lap to salute milanisti after the match’s over. im not even joking. compare that to hauge who congratulated leao on his ig account. hell, hauge still wears milan jersey in his prof pic

Riccardo Montolivo

Yup, Kessie is determined to be a bench player.

Milan10

bench player of psg/liverpool/tottenham

Nubian B

I don’t comment on here often but today was a thing of beauty. Mind you, Lazio have been flying some may say. Sarri teams always score many goals. Milan shut this team completely down. They pressed high the entire match (outside the garbage minutes) and controlled the match in its entirety from what I saw. This is random but today I also remembered that I’ve always hated Pedro. Calabria is low key the baddest man in serie A. He doesn’t have the flash or speed so everyone always remembers Theo…but this man does so much for this team and consistently… Read more »

ALL HAIL STEFANO PIOLI!!!!!

Nathan Graegin

I said tonali would take bennacers spot and play with kessie. Tonali is simply too good and he controlled the midfield. Motm for me

Baresis Dream

Yep, an mvp performance no doubt. Really made the difference in midfield. But if Bennaser ever gets back to his form of the beginning of last season it will be a tough pick for Pioli.

Lando

Man Tonali is such a beast
Is that really the same player from last season?
He’s grown so much
So far, he is the best “signing” this season

Agustinar

Tonali has gotten his confidence in Milan

Agustinar

Kessie is still need match fitness

Agustinar

Ibra and Giroud can co-exist together like Ibra and Trezeguet. But it depends on the match. When facing defensive team, we need them together

Agustinar

Diaz was a little bit off

milan4lyf

This match was a feast to the eyes. Loved every single moment. Positives: -Leao. Fantastic all round performance. He actually tracked back to defend, which was incredible from him. And he was phenomenal in attack. -Rebic. Looks like our only creative force in the attack. Amazing performance. Rebic and Ibra is always in the right place at the right time. That’s why their chemistry is so fantastic. -Ibra. What can I say, 40 and still rocking. An absolute legend. Thanks Maldini for bringing him in despite everyone including management being against it. -Tonali. What a game he had today. This… Read more »

Ink

What a match. Tonali was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Florenzi’s tackle was delightful. Leao was brilliant with his forward runs, and track backs; but I am still disappointed with most of his decision making and shooting in the final third. However the goal was composed and great, it shows the potential the management sees. But the question remains, is it one of his one-match-flash? Will he get back to being lethargic and lazy the next 10 matches? I hope he doesn’t and improves his play, as well as consistency. Kessie effective as ever, but those boos from the stadium when he… Read more »

Gbenga AJOSE

Too early to judge Bakayoko. Let’s give him time.

Gbenga AJOSE

I looked at our fixtures for the next 10 games. It scary…I k ow we have the players who can make us proud..My fear is injury to key player like Diaz who is the CPU of our attacking department in our 433 system.. Its not nice that we didn’t fix that hole. I pray Diaz stays injury free most times.

Baresis Dream

Indeed scary schedule mate; but we need to focus on serie a imo. CL success will have to wait for next seasons I’m afraid. Diaz definitely seems irreplaceable now, but I will also say that Theo is just as well.

But it could be the year that maldini jr finally steps out of his shell; the kid has great potential, enough to even become our starting number 10 one day. Who knows, he might be able to help already this season as diaz’s sub

Riccardo Montolivo

Wishful thinking, I think our best bet is Tonalli as AM. But I doubt that Benaccer can stay fit the whole season, and Bakayoko looks out of shape.

442 seems the way to go.

SJF

I think at this point Krunic is our back up for AM.
Hopefully Diaz keeps improving and stays fit. He is a small guy so he’ll need to work on his strength to be able to mix it with Champs League defenders

Riccardo Montolivo

I’m not a hater but Krunic can only play as am against a relegation team.

SJF

It’s not ideal for sure but he can do ok for some of those smaller teams.
Rebic could do a job in that role too. He has the close control and good vision.
Perhaps in January they will fill the gap.

Nesta1

Agreed, he’s good at scoring goals from Central postions

Baresis Dream

Yep, it is a bit of wishful thinking. But I think Pioli will try to focus on the current formation as much as possible, and for good reasons.

SJF

Great performance by the squad!
Liverpool are another level, let’s hope the guys play with confidence. Anfield is an intimidating atmosphere.
I’d love to see us start both Leao and Rebic.
Rebic is very versatile and strong, RW is no problem for him.
Forza Milan

Oluwashevy

Nice one from the team more winnings so impressed with the performance let’s go to Anfield and conquer I trust in the process

Alex

Like I said before, this team is very good, the team work is awesome. Ibra have given soul ti this team and they are rocking. They play without fear. As much as i don’t want Kessie to leave, we should not fall to the pranks of greedy agents. The future of this team is very bright, all we need to fix now is the CAM, Cetral defense( if Roma leaves, which i suspect as milan will want to cut all ties with Raiola right wing and a very good attacker. Just watched Adil, he doing very well and has great… Read more »

Completely missed the match and my tv and internet connection since friday morning because some moronic lorry driver drove his car into the tv box stand so i have been pretty pissed as i soon realized there was no chance for me seeing it. Anyways from the looks of it and what ive read we seem to have had the game fairly well under control throughout the match and got the victory. Any news about the severity of bakayokos injury as i cant seem to find any info yet ?

Jay

Just now – No Ibra for liverfool match due to injury? Wtf

SJF

No Ibra and Pioli said Giroud has only trained for 2 days, so is not fully ready for 90 mins either.
Really not what we need starting this group!!

SJF

No Ibra and Pioli said Giroud has only trained for 2 days so is not fully ready for 90 mins.
Really not how we need to start this group!!

I hope he starts Griroud Leao and Rebic.
Then in 2nd half bring on saladman for Giroud and put Leao up front. His pace against tiring defenders could be a real weapon

SJF

Other than that we have no other real options until Messias is ready.
Hauge we miss you already

Oluwashevy

Why is Ibra having all this injuries he came in second half and I think he wasn’t hurt so how come was it in training this is not the news we need currently now Giroud can still play

Nesta1

Big loss definatley, and giroud can’t do 90 minutes. Definatley not best news but if we can beat liverpool in first game it would be a great start and confidence booster

SJF

Apparently he felt pain in his Achilles after the match on Sunday. So they dont want to risk him. He tore it at Man Utd, it’s a long term/career ending injury if it happens again

Ted

He didn’t tore his achilles in Manchester but his acl

Oluwashevy

No one knows how jong this will take him now Giroud need to be fit for us and Pellegrini as well we need him fit so we won’t be short in attack we have series of matches coming up I don’t like hearing such news but it’s part of football

Nino

Just saw the squad list for the Liverpool match. 21 players called up. I acknowledge that Pioli deserves some credit for his work so far. He’s done well, even though we fans tend to think we’re smarter than him. I do think that with the injury to Ibra and the fact that Bakayoko and Krunic are also not available, and Pellegri is not registered; Messias should have been included for the trip. He doesn’t have to play. Just take him along as an option. Diaz is going to start in front of a pair from Bennacer-Kessie-Tonali. That lives one option… Read more »

From what am seeing Ibra injuries from unset is not what should be rush considering his age the rest can come but Ibra needs time to heal so he won’t be out for long but I hope he comes back back and stronger
