Tommaso Pobega scored and had two assists in Milan’s first friendly match of the summer against Pro Sesto.
Pobega has returned to Milanello after a season on loan with Spezia and the future of the 22-year-old is hanging in the balance, with Atalanta and Fiorentina interested in the midfielder.
Today Pobega impressed greatly in the friendly match against Serie C’s Pro Sesto, scoring a goal and assisting twice in the 6-0 win. Ismaël Bennacer, Rafael Leão, Samu Castillejo and Milos Kerkez (brace) scored the other goals.
“There is certainly a bit of fatigue, but we are training well and today it went well. We are reacting well,” Pobega told MilanTV at the end of the match. “As soon as you come in you see that there is a good group. When you come back here you feel the air of home.
“The requests of Pioli? He is asking us to return to full capacity. We stopped for a month, we have to get back to doing the things that were done at the end of the year and we must put them into practice.
“Grandstanding? Everyone who is here wants to do well and grandstand. Then the evaluations will be made by the coach and the club.”
