Warren Bondo could soon join Milan from Nancy, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll play with the Primavera or with the first team.

The transfer market of Milan is in full force, and they are looking at profiles who can strengthen the team both immediately and in the near future.

In the last days, the name of Nancy’s Warren Bondo, has made the headlines in relation to interest from Milan.

As reported by Milannews.it and Sky Italia among others, there is in fact an agreement between the 17-year-old midfielder and Milan over a three-year deal. As pointed out by Gianluca Di Marzio, players can’t sign contracts for longer than three years before they turn 18.

Bondo made 13 appearances in Ligue 2 last season. Now Paolo Maldini and co. need to find an understanding with Nancy. €1m plus bonuses could be enough to close the deal. Milannews.it reports that the player could join Pioli’s squad for pre-season and play friendlies, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll play the 2021/22 season with the Primavera or with the first team.

Bondo’s contract with Nancy expires next year and Milan arrived before other clubs to try and close a deal.

Hopefully he is a pleasant surprise like Kerkez.
In the current football market, the only chance for financially ‘normal’ clubs, are to get youngsters cheap and grow them into stars – along with one or two big money signings who can offer guarantees on the pitch.

Thing is Milan isn’t even tryin to get 1-2 big signings. And by big I mean 25-35 mil range, which is what our range should be anyways.

Our 2nd problem is pioli. He has proven so far to be unable to train young players. He’s a coach that needs the finished product. This is one of the reasons why we should have got ragnick or another coach that has a good resume in getting results and devolving young players. Leao, hauge are prime examples.
