Davide Calabria will take the next few weeks to recover as he’s undergone another surgery today.

Calabria went under the knife in March and returned for the last games of the season to help Milan finish second and qualify for the Champions League.

However, the injuries are still not entirely behind him as today he went through another surgery, as announced by Milan:

“Milan has announced that Calabria has undergone sports hernia surgery in Milano today. The operation, performed by videolaparoscopy by Dr. Giuseppe Sansonetti in the presence of Rossoneri doctor Lucio Genesio, was perfectly successful.

“Recovery time is estimated to be 6 weeks.” Davide was one of the best fullbacks in the league in 2020/21 but Roberto Mancini did not consider him for the Italy squad for EURO 2020.

Him out of Locatelli, then Cutrone, then Donnarumma continues to remain from the academy. That’s dedication!
