Noontime match at home against a low-tier team … just the kind of matches we struggle with. Here’s hoping the lads will come onto the field with the right attitude. Aggressive and decisive from the start.

Left foot or right foot it doesn’t matter for Rebic. Very good with both feet. Leao wasted 2 good opportunities. Sigh. Milan desperately need a CF.

Without a good performance from the AM we cant really create chances in this formation. Worst thing is that we had two good AMs in the team Paqueta and Bona. And we let them both go puting all on Hakan, who dosent even whant to sign a new deal smh.

Yep. I was disappointed Milan gave up so quick on paqueta especially after he was having a good preseason.

Bonaventura should have gotten at least a one year extension. He earned it from his performance last season.

I’m not impressed by Brahim Diaz and I would rather Pioli use Hauge instead of Diaz or Krunic at AM.

My loyalty to Milan comes before any player so I have no regrets about Paquetá leaving. He’s nowhere near legendary status and he’s not a serious footballer.

I swear to god this coach simply doesn’t practice defending set plays!!!! Teams have a abnormal success rate in converting from set plays against us.

Again leao is fucking ass and needs to be sold!!! He continuously shows why he can’t play forward! He’s constantly invisible and when he does get into space, he can’t do shit with the ball!

Hakan again shows why we need a better cam and salemakers is too slow. Everything about him is average. Just a player with a good work rate that doesn’t amount to anything!

Slamakers passing is so bad, you would expect even an ammater to get a few passes right. Only Salamakers can get them wrong all of the time. If you are a winger who dosent score then your passing needs do be top notch. Wtf is this we have Diaz on the bench but still play Sala/Samu who have been bad for whole season long.

You are correct, but Tomori weakness has alwayes been arial duels. Thats why he couldnt get a place in Chelsea first team. One of the reasons why i preffered Simakan as our new CB was that despite speed he was also taller and good in the air.

After 10 minutes, we stated pushing the gas pedal, and in general took control of the game. Wonderful strike by Rebic to give us the lead. But we succumbed to our usual weakness, namely defending against corners. Destro made a fool out of Tomori, whose marking was terrible in the corner, but quite decent otherwise. I also feel Hakan and Bennacer are not in the game enough, with the latter not retrieving enough balls and misplacing too many passes. We need more from both, especially when Zlatan is out. Any way even if we were talking about that, you are still wrong even with your cherry picked examples. Vidal has been a disaster for Inter same as Kolarov(another experienced player). Conte dosent even play them now. Bastoni a youngster took over Kolarov for exmp. There are young players who are simply better, just cause they are less experienced it dosent mean they are less skillfull.

Look when it comes to hakan, his bf will defend him to the death. Everyone else knows hakan needs to go, it’s a shame it will be for free but he’s average at best. The assists he has can be given by any basic cam. Look at oaks, iniesta, xavi, seedorf etc, those guys give passes that makes things happen out of no where. Hakan is predictable, slow and not creative.

Now I’ll say his crosses were surprisingly good today, how ever, everything else about him except a 2/3 passes was ass and it was like playing a man down

His free kicks today were also horrible. But it is what it is. I’m not arguing about hakan anymore

i didnt write anything about freekicks. in fact, i didnt even say hakan had stellar nite but he WAS decisive, as in his action actually led to a goal. saladmaker, kalulu etc didnt do badly but theyre not as decisive as hakan, rebic, kjaer and tomori.
currently im watching napoli – inter and eriksen is garbage but it was him who scored the equalizer so yeah he IS decisive

“Everyone else knows hakan needs to go”
so szoboszlai could play? oh wait, he CANT even play for his actual club leipzig

the speedy quickie ajax boy has spoken: xavi and iniesta were better than hakan.

It wasn’t a gay joke, more of my pointing out your diving devotion to a average player. Like i said, you seem to be ok with mediocre players and that’s fine. Everyone else including pundits, announcers and those giving us stats, you know, the ppl that know more than us, al say he again has been disappointing. YOU are the only one that praises him for making a few passes that anyone can do. He’s never made a pass that had me think, wow that was clever or wow, I didn’t see that coming. His passes are done by anyone… Read more »

btw, r u implying taking corner kicks is easy? alex ferguson said, “charlie adam’s corner kicks alone worth 10m pound.”. people like beckham became literal millionaire simply by being dead ball specialist. dead ball specialist is essential for any serious team most importantly, r u implying mandzukic ducking (instead of, u know, actually heading the ball into the net himself) was most important factor than hakan’s actual corner? lol. now THATS funny. hakan IS important for milan, the stats dont lie, so until milan can get bruno fernandes, kroos, de jong or at least ilicic or barella, he should always… Read more »

This was a bad game no matter the win. You know you are bad when you need luck to beat Genova. The worst part is that we are playing worse and worse every game. Milan will be mad to keep Pioli for next season, CL or not. Simply the longer he stays the worst we play. He reached his peak and now he is on a downward track.

I couldn’t have said it any better. We should seriously look at Ajax coach. He’s been there for a min and might be looking for a new team. Doesn’t hurt to ask. We need a coach that values 1 touch game play. Pioli relies on long balls and crosses and that stats back this up. Look how good we look when we actually try to combine passes to score. That’s not pioli tactic but the players just doin it themselves

So what. Is our name inter Milan or Ac Milan? Look at how Ajax play, then look at us. Remember in champions league we will need to play waaaaay faster than what these players are capable of

Milan10

so dutch style might not be suitable for tactical serie a. de boer also won multiple eredivisie u know.
like i said, ajax (and barca) have always played the same cruyffian style for literally decades. doesnt mean it and therefore ten hag will necessarily be suitable for milan.
oh, and even schalke didnt want rangnick so he got to go to russian league

So what your saying is when Milan has real stars we played just as slow? We played beautiful just like how Ajax and Barca played but with more speed and accuracy. Hell even in the pato days we played quickly. We need a coach willing to play faster, ask for wicker/faster and skillful players, and then actually play them over the trash players we have. I bet those coaches would play krunic, sala and samu over hauge

I dont know much about Ajax coach but yes the team looks good when they combine with fast passes. Alegri is free as well tho. I think Pioli only crosses tactic is limiting the wingers as well, they are to far away from the box to be able to cut inside and shoot like wingers usualy do. Any way if a top coach is not brought in the summer i dont see this team improving further.

You are correct. That lack of winger options in and around the box is the reason we aren’t scoring even more goals. This also prevents a lack of passing options during the build up. You noticed how we looked when salemakers and rebic were flowing inside and out. Thats bc they went against just crossing.

The same Ajax coach who lost to Roma? At least Pioli knows how to beat Roma. I know Pioli has his limitations but he is not as bad as you think he is. He is actually overachieving at Milan considering Roma, Napoli, Juventus and Atalanta all have better squad than we do. He might not win the Champions league for us, but if he qualifies us to the Champions league, it is only fair that he stays.

Did you watch the games against Roma? Like not the highlights, I mean watch the games entirely. Had Ajax played brobbey from the 1st whistle in both games, they would have won. They missed at least 4 clear chances in game won and missed a lot in game 2. They outplayed Roma drastically but had bad luck with scoring, that happens sometimes, doesn’t change the fact Ajax we’re far superior. Also let’s no forget how bad the goals roma got were, had they had their real keeper, it would be possibly be diff. I’m not saying he would guarantee us… Read more »

a legal governing body? surely u realize even corrupt g’vnt is better than no g’vnt? dont believe me? see afghanistan, lybia etc.
do u even know the effects of this nonsense on small clubs and commercial fair play? atalanta just beat juve and thus are above them in the table. theyre simply better. so what gives juve the right to gain access to much more lucrative source of revenue every single season? this league would destroy so called small clubs and thus football as we know it

like i said, corrupt g’vnt is better than no g’vnt. it is reported that milan would get 350m just by entering superleague. good for them but what about the rest of serie a? thats like insider trading, so unfair. there’s no sportmanship whatsoever, only greed and capitalism

regarding napoli – inter game, as much as it pains me to say this, i hope inter wins because if they do then napoli would need to gain 7 more points than milan in next 6 matches for rino’s team to overtake pioli’s team in the table. lets face it, milan still have to face sassuolo, lazio, juve AND atalanta and there’s zero chance they wont drop points, therefore napoli dropping points should be celebrated

BREAKING NEWS
lyon’s competitors psg and monaco won earlier this weekend so what does depayqueta combo do to respond? depay scores goal assisted by paquelme of course. what a fantastic decisive duo. man, imagine a milan10ian world where paquelme AND depay are milan players.
oh, and at this rate andriy “the giant” silva will most probably be 1st milan st since ibra and san marco himself to score 25 league goals. not even andriy sheva himself managed to do that. elite.

in other news, handanovic literally put the ball into his own net. napoli 1 – 0 inter. vergogna

nope, napoli losing would’ve been even better. inter have already won the scudetto the day they beat milan. but i miscalculated. i thought by losing, napoli would be 6 pts below milan but it turns out by drawing vs inter, napoli ARE 6 pts below milan, which means because of head to head rules, napoli will need to gain 7 more points than milan in next 6 games for them to leapfrog milan.
