Good first half. I don’t get why Kessie goal was ruled out. SMDH

Milan the better team. We just need to an away goal or two.

Urban wilson

Good first half

Riccardo Montolivo

Could anyone see the hand ball? What a thrilling first half, Milan is dictating the rythmn of the match and so far they’re doing great.

Who would’ve predicted that Pioli would change the tactics against the strongest rival of the season. Well done

Fra

I honestly dunno why but I believe that “MILAN IN EUROPE IS ALWAYS THE BEST OF ITALY” independently from what squad we have, no team can take us easy opponent we are always a dangerous and respectable team in competitions outside Italy! I remember this Milan charisma made me love it since 90th!

Riccardo Montolivo

Well that wasn’t the case with Bodo, Arsenal and Lille

Gbenga AJOSE

What am happy about is that a lot of our first 11 are not here and I like the way the guys are taking things easy considering we have a crucial match against Napoli.. We must not take any Series A match for granted as right now its going to become hotter and fierce considering Serial A local champion Juventus is out of champions league.

Fra

I love my team even if once in a while we lose it but it’s f..kin obvious we are a TEAM!!! Everything’s in place, young team, ambitious, teamwork, more important mentality as a team and knowing the value of Jersey by players.. With a bit more reinforcement Milan will be one of dominating team in Europe for next years if this MENTALITY keeps going on!

Milan10

that was surprisingly good performance by milan. the double pivot, 2 fullbacks, krunic and especially brahim were very good. the final balls were there but too bad the finishing just wasnt there yet. milan started the match well but they just wasted chances after chances and near the end of 1st half they lost the steam a bit and man utd nearly capitalized through maguire. luckily for milan he pulled a robinho and missed an absolute sitter i hope milan keep taking the initiative to attack getting precious away goal(s) because if they sit back, pretty sure man utd would… Read more »

Come on lads heads up get that away goal

Milan10

this is why u should always make ur chances count

Rossi

10 mil sallary lol. Donaruma was lucky at his first mistake when United hit the woodwork after he miss judged the ball in the air. Now he went forword for no reason setting him self up for that lob.

Joe

Totally Donarumma’s fault on the goal – he came out and didn’t challenge the ball. Either stay in your goal or come out and get the ball – he didn’t do either.

Riccardo Montolivo

Emh no

Joe

No? You gonna defend blatant mistake of the 10 million dollars man? Totally his fault.

Riccardo Montolivo

The mistake was of the backline what are you talking about? Stop repeating what others say

Joe

No, it was goalie’s fault – everyone saw it.

Riccardo Montolivo

OK, ManU reacted now it’s time for tonalli, off Krunic

Nesta1

Krunic should have scored,

Riccardo Montolivo

He did and is doing well I can’t criticize him, he did not make too many mistakes

Dindudre

the usual nonsense tactics from Milan coach, pass the ball to the sides, to the middle and then back to the defenders, and to the goalie. smdh. we don’t press, we don’t cross the ball. makes me wonder if we ever practice crossing during trainings. Saelemaeker and dalot need to cross the ball more into the opponents box. we keep killing a number of good counter attacks just to pass the ball back to our defenders and goalie. smh. our players have no sense of urgency till the opponents score and then the wake up and try to equalize. it’s… Read more »

Milan 15

Good point I always ask my self why Milan react after they concede a goal something has to change this mentality won’t take us far

Riccardo Montolivo

FFS Krunic!!! Keep trying!

Milan10

must castipendejo play? why cant brahim stay on the pitch after good performance like this

Niels8

He was tired I think..and Pioli wants to keep his AM fresh for the league..

Milan10

if anyone can have permission to even think he’s tired its kessie, not brahim who doesnt even play regularly

Niels8

That could well be the reason he was tired he lacks match fitness..we also cannot expect the same stamina from two totally different type of player. Anyway, as we can see it could have been simply a tactical choice by Pioli.

Milan10

well, tonali did good but castipendejo was his usual poor man’s robben self so i’d say pioli’s tactical choice only half worked

SJF

Thank the lord for Frank! Our defacto captain!

Milan10

the guy is freaking terminator – predator hybrid

Riccardo Montolivo

Captain? Show some respect for Mr. President

Riccardo Montolivo

No no no, Kalulu noo

Milan10

finally, after 3 times hitting the post before, king kjaer scores. great stuff

Nino

The Viking raided Old Trafford!

Milan10

correctamundo mate. the viking conquered england once again. its about time
kjaer scores after being so close so many times before. lets hope its just the beginning and he can be as potent from corner kick situations as ts33, terry or ramos

K INC

KJAER!!!

Riccardo Montolivo

Goooool carajo! Googol!

SOHEIL

Congratulations to our players, not just because of the result, but for dominating against ManU in their home.

Pioli is such a gentleman and his calm and caring behavior is transferred to our players. Kjaer always smiles. Krunic hugs goalkeeper and even Tonali doesn’t hit back the ManU player for his strange behavior. Every coach has it’s flaws but I simply respect Pioli.

SJF

Well said sir

Riccardo Montolivo

Good result, we deserved the win a defeat would be unfair

Niels8

A very good performance indeed..and certainly a good result.
Even if Kjaer hadn’t scored, I would have been quite satisfied with the performance..

MilanEstonia

Good result! So impressed by my Milan! Even without 5-6 stars we actually played so well.Return leg will be interesting.

Meite reminds me of Bakayoko – Horrible in the start, but getting steady over time.

Fra

Just out of nowhere, all of us are happy for that one goal away, sometimes I think all of us are forgetting the reality!! Why in this year we all expect the best performance and winning from the team every single game, I have the answer not because we have such better squad compare to others because the very same squad that we complain about made us be proud with higher expectations!! I don’t say no one should criticize the team performance, which I’m sure the mister PIOLI will does it if a player doesn’t play as he should, but… Read more »

Rossi

Good result. Leao was disapointing, the others all played as expected. I think Milan must go Belotti next season if they want to improve this team. Leao is far from starting material and Ibra is injured every third game.

SOHEIL

He would be a good Thiery style winger in the future but I dont see him as a striker. As mentioned before, he roams a lot. Not a bad quality but not a good one for the only striker in 4-2-3-1.

Kalulu was also disappointing. I think we should consider changing his position. He played better when he was at the center so maybe a Center back our even defensive midfielder position would be better for him.

SJF

You know your stuff Soheil!
Def Leao is a LW and we need a striker badly.
Also Kalulu was amazing at CB despite the fact he got no game time.
Hes quick at RB but not quite good enough on the ball yet, he’ll improve.
Hopefully he’ll get more chances, I think he has huge talent and personality

Rossi

His been poor on the LW as well. I looked at his past teams he played as a striker thru his career, in fact he has played in the same formation as a lone striker like today. Not sure if he can sprint as Henry up and down the flank, he has good shot like Henry but lacks in many other things. I see him more as modern striker like Haland, who moves a lot. Maybe thats the problem, trying to play him like Zlatan when he is clearly not Zlatan. The rest of the team should give him service… Read more »

SOHEIL

About the first part of your comment: he is still young and learning but the problem is you don’t have so much time to learn, in teams like Milan. So he should start performing or he will be a bench warmer.

About Kalulu, I know he is young. That’s why I believe a shift in position would be good for him. Lot’s of players did that. He has vision and calmness that is great for players in center. But I could be wrong.

Rossi

I think Kalulu might be to small for CB. Yes he looked better in other games like CB but again those were not against top teams like Man U. Its still to early to say where exactly he would do best. As a CB he messed up a bit with Genova i think when we droped points, its hard to judge him this early we need to see more of him. Leao will most definetly be a bench warmer in a team like Milan, at least in the upcoming seasons. I think he needs to get more chances of the… Read more »

Milan10

well, that was entertaining match. congrats to john malkovich and the boys for the precious away goal. a 1-1 draw is fair result for both team and is a very good result for milan. this match is the perfect example of why u shouldnt try fo defend 1 goal lead by replacing ur most potent am with a dm. ole messed up big time by not killing the game off while he could. milan also should’ve done better with their finishing. krunic, saladmaker, calabria, leao and others kept missing their chances while brahim often try to pull a cr7 from… Read more »

Yes, if ole was keeping Bruno in the match for more 5mins there was different result :)))

Milan10

correctamundo mate. that was cowardly move. hell, ole even said recently that man utd arent title challengers in epl even though theyre 2nd in the table. wtf. milan can afford to say that considering the avg age of the squad and lack of spending but a man utd coach has no right to say that

Fra

Are you high?!??! :))

Milan10

yeah, im high on life and football knowledge *wink. u dont have to show me the last nite’s match stats dear francine; i watched the game, i know milan dominated. but what i mean is milan can afford to say theyre not after scudetto just yet this season, because they still lack proper, competitive squad and the squad is very young. the same cant be said about man utd who spent > 60m for reserve players van de beek and telles. it has nothing to do with EL. here’s maldini before the match: “If we had said this year we… Read more »

If we could just sign a right winger and be dangerous both sides would make a world of differnce

Milan10

correctamundo mate. otavio from porto can play am and rm, and he did well for porto. lucas vazquez is solid rw as well. but my dream is de paul who can virtually play anywhere in midfield and is assist king

Patinho

Suprisingly little to criticize! Both teams played with their plan B’s, however, Milan turned out to have a more productive one. Kessie and Meite were rocks in the midfield, and our backline was solid. The attack has to take more risks, and have to be served with more cut-through crosses. I hope Leao gets out of just drought this weekend against Napoli.

Maguire is going to be in a lot of compilations, also..

I really like your last sentence.

SJF

I think it is surprising but consistent that Milan perform best without Ibra and Hakan.
Both are great when things are in our favour and do nothing when we are under pressure.

Theo, Bennacer and Rebic are sorely missed.

We need dynamic, fit, hungry players.

Frank embodies this best with his work, attitude and talent, world class!!

We need a new striker, no. 10 and RW pronto!

ZionTrain

It’s not that we perform better without them but if they are out of form then Pioli should drop them to the bench.

The problem is that Pioli keeps playing them even when they are playing horrible.

So when they get injured and he has no choice to use other players it now looks like we are playing better without them.

Roberto Giano

congratulations. we got away goal

Martin Bernhard

I was watching the match yesterday with a pal who is a utd fan and as we was watching it streamed on hesgoal but we missed the last few minutes as the site ran like shit yesterday but i said to him that now i was confident that milan would score in the meantime and they did. What i didnt see though before waking up again was that it was kjær who scored and what a match to score his first goal for us. Fine perfomance as i was actually fairly nervous about this match. Not that i didnt believe… Read more »

I just read brobbey is going to sign for Leipzig! Once again this shitty management fail to secure a name that will be gold! They talked about not being able to afford too players and when the next big thing is there for free, we don’t act for whatever reason. I’m calling the entire management team out now, wtf is your plan? Ibra and mandzukic for another 10 years? This is a joke!!! We have missed out time and time again on deals that are simply steals and yet we can’t afford them? Usually these deals are missed by like… Read more »

Milan need an experience striker like Icardi or Belotti. If we go for someone younger then we should aim for Erling Haaland.

Either Icardi or Belotti should be good next season. Ibra can play another year as a backup since he has a lot injury issues this season.

Memphis Depay will be a free agent next season and Milan should sign him too as he can play AM and 2nd striker.

Not a big deal if we missed out on Brobbey.

Ashraf

Milan should sign Silas wamangituka right winger who is capable of playing left wing ss lone st if milan sign that guy milan will be serie a contender next season
