Parking the bus or playing like 2020’s Milan? What’s your opinion?

Zumblim

Just wish the best for milan. I personally think that milan should only focus on 1 competition in order to qualify to CL next year considering the injuries, fatigue even corona which can have bad influence on teams performance. We are just few points apart from other teams in serie A. Juve were out from CL, and have more time to prepare the league. Roma,Atalanta are also not performing bad. Really hope milan qualify to CL next year either by winning EL ( which is imo very hard) or finish at top 4 in serie A ( hopefully at least… Read more »

“Zumblim 12 days ago Get ready for another lost this weekend against AS Roma with kind of performance!!” lol, this u mate? what the hell is wrong with some “milanisti” nowadays? oh and regarding milan 2006/07, i said that team was the weakest milan in 5 years, as in, between 2002/03 – 06/07, that team was the worst. and yet they won ucl (interestingly, after getting past red star, lille, celtic, and man utd. sounds familiar?). like i said, anything can and does happen in ko rounds. i never said that team was weaker than current milan team. my point… Read more »

Wow i am really amazed how someone nowdays only read text without even spare a thought to understand it. The sentences you just quoted means if you don’t improve then ready to get beaten. Was Milan milan performance the same as or worse than against red star?? Oh yeah I know your answer, the performance was also shit, but roma was more shitter!! OMG.. Again about loser mentality?? Seriously?? Once again i am not saying the team to intentionally get lost! No need to discuss further with someone who thought milan who won CL 2007 was worse team!!the team trashed… Read more »

and did milan lose vs roma or did they display their best performance of 2021? exactly. “No need to discuss further with someone who thought milan who won CL 2007 was worse team” well, i mean, you ARE dumb for saying all those pessimistic bullcrap, but do u expect me to believe u dont know the meaning of “worst in 5 years”? of all these teams: – ucl winning 02/03 squad with prime inzaghi, nesta and rui costa. dominated inter – scudetto winning 03/04 squad with sheva at his peak AND kaka. dominated inter AND juve and pretty much every… Read more »

How can ‘weakest milan team in 5 years from 2002-2007’ could beat european ‘NOT weak teams’ in 2007??

Me : they were not weak at all, still a lot of qualities in team eventhough most of them were old and great manager

Milan10: everything can happen in KO round!!

Me: *clap clap*

I know now how your logic works!!

We didn’t play well in that final. We had not played well that whole year, in fact, but when we got to the quarter-finals it started to get better.” yes they won ucl because from… Read more »

Lack of squad depth and injuries (as usual) has been the thorn in our side this season. United are beatable but with half of our team missing again it’s going to be tricky.

Oluwa shevy

Atlist rest kessie now not all games he should play

Agustinar

I’d like to see Samu at left side again. He plays better at left side in 4231/4411/442

“Four players have scored double figures in Europe’s top five leagues in 2021
Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi, Andre Silva, and Ilkay Gundogan ” – Goal.com

well, finally milan have young healthy sniper. silva – leao duo will tear europe’s finest defenses apart for the next half decade at least, starting tonite vs man utd. oh wait

ZionTrain

Milan have a weird way of playing players they sign out of their natural position and strength.

Piatek was unstoppable at Genoa because he played in a 2 striker formation NOT a lone striker.

Andre Silva plays better in a 2 striker formation but yet Milan use him as a lone striker.

Same for Krunic who played as trequartista at Empoli but Milan used him mostly as a DM.

Milan10

correctamundo mate. this is because there were too many changes and turnovers at milan which resulted in zero stability and continuity. there was no long term project at all back then. the fact that milan had idiotic coaches and sd didnt help. also, there was no synergy between mgmt and coaches regarding which players should be bought and how to use them properly to get best results. krunic was supposed to be lcm and piatek – leao a striking partner in giamfanculo’s 4-3-1-2 but the coach was sacked and new coach pioli abandoned 4-3-1-2 altogether. paqueta was bought as rcm… Read more »

Totally agree. On another note Calhanoglu hasn’t renewed his contract yet but I honestly don’t think we should keep him when we can get a top player like Coutinho from Barcelona. I’m also not sold on Otavio and Thauvin as I believe Felipe Anderson is a better option and we can get him on loan with an option to buy from Weat Ham. Felipe Anderson knows Serie A and he can play as AM or LW/RW. I just think that Milan might be looking at the wrong players especially once we qualify for CL we will need top players to… Read more »

hakan is at least 30m – 40m rated player so if milan let him go for nothing next summer mercato they would need to buy proper replacement of same calibre. would milan be willing to cough up 30m – 40m for proper replacement like de paul or coutinho ? highly doubt it. no, milan need to get proper am (like otavio who did well vs juve 2 nights ago) to compete with hakan for starting spot, not replace him. dont get me wrong, coutinho would be fantastic but i dont think milan could afford him. i watched felipe when he… Read more »

Ok. I see your point. That made sense:-)

I don’t think milan will lose tonight. But our major problem would be putting the ball behind the net. I also hate to say this, but I would rather play Samu than play Diaz. Samu has a higher chance of shooting on target, or even scoring luckily, than Diaz. Playing Diaz means Krunic moves to the wing, instead of playing him at AM where he has been flourishing lately.

Subs: Diaz, Meite, Romagnoli if we need to protect a good result.

TC Milan

We are missing many starting players but we are going to perform well

Kesse yea boy

Ronaldinho80

Wtf

Ted

Da jim mater jebem lopovsko sodniško!!!

ZionTrain

Why was Kessie goal ruled out? I don’t get it. Can someone explain?

Ronaldinho80

I think Ted explained well

Rossi

According to livescore the goal was canceled do too a foul. Im watching the game and on TV they said it was cancealed because of a handball. Not sure what is it now.

Rossi

WTF That didnt look like a handball at all. It look like the ball hit Kessie in the hip, at least from the replay they showed. They didnt showed it from more angles tho.

Muratx

Leao moves a lot for the lone striker in 4231. No physical presence

Milan10

is saladmaker retarded? serious question. why doed he keep making fouls in dangerous area when he’s already on a yellow?

Nesta1

He does it all time, gets a yellow early then carries on doin risky tackles.

Milan10

correctamundo mate. its like he hasnt learned anything from his previous silly red cards

Ted

Salesmaker will get red if he’s not off

Nesta1

I agree, sub at half time

Ronaldinho80

Agree

Milan10

martial goes down faster than sasha grey whenever he’s in milan box

Rossi

Yea he dived a couple of times.

Milan10

kessie or meite need to rough this fool up

SOHEIL

Really impressed by Meite, Kessie, Calabria & Krunic.

The fact that Krunic can control the ball in this manner, makes me wonder about how players can change with just a little confidence. Did you see what he did in last minutes of first half? It was at Zizo and Boban’s level!

SOHEIL

& this new fluid system for attack, will make wonder when our starters be back. 3 free players, behind Ibra

Ross Oneri

We are actually playing very well. I’m mostly surprised by Diaz’s performance.

Ronaldinho80

Great boys we are better team

ZionTrain

We were better than Man United today. Even without 5 of our starters. Ibra, Bennacer, Calhanoglu, Rebic and Theo.

We will finish the job at the San Siro. I’m confident of that. Forza Milan!
