A funny and tactical line up but Milan definitely gonna triumph back to back victories forza Milan

Nesta1

Good rotation, strong enough to win with zlatan up front

Milan Boy

I hope Musachio proves himself so we can jettison the idea of signing a center back until the summer as that would mean that we have enough cover with him, kyaer, romagnoli, Kalulu and Gabbia.i don’t understand why Pioli rejected the idea of a direct swap with Meite, that would have been an opportunity to offload Krunic and leave us with four quality central defensive midfielders.

Nana

Just asking.? Couldn’t we have fielded a more natural cm from the Primavera instead of Calabria?

Ross Oneri

I was also thinking of the same thing, Milan have very good CM in Primavera.

Raven

Have you seen Calabria playing on the mid? The guy is a natural, way better than Krunic. He played as a midfielder when he was younger, he can do it just fine.

Acbaba

Where can I watch this?

Raven

hesgoal, but it keeps lagging

Acbaba

Yeah very annoying. Actually thought it was my network.

Martin Bernhard

Theresa link up on milan eye twitter page that is linked to youtube but it says not every countries will be able to watch.

Shackur

Where to watch cos hesgoal ain’t loading at all

Martin Bernhard

Theresa link up on milan eye twitter page that is linked to youtube but it says not every countries will be able to watch.

Raven

Rojadirecta .me

obviously remove the space, and look for a link that streams on web browsers that’s what I’m using

Martin Bernhard

yeah rojadirecta is a solution but the link from milan eye and youtube is great quality and english language and its apparently from serie a youtube channel 🙂 if theres adds just close the tab and reopen it through the twitter link again or for that matter type this on youtube

Thanks mate!

Martin Bernhard

no problem

Milan10

BREAKING NEWS
andre ‘the giant’ silva just recorded an assist vs leverkusen. complete striker

Raven

If Maldini asked for your advice, who would you pick from Leao or Silva.

Milan10

i’d tell him to pull a milan and keep them both. maldini of all people should know collecting great players, in particular st, is in milan dna. case in point: ballon d’or winners san marco AND papin on the same team

Bush

He would pick Bakayoko lool

ZahidHossain

Ha ha ha …. Well said

Milan10

how TF was not a penalty? torino player clearly fouled brahim from behind

Milan10

wow, ibra should’ve scored there, uncharacteristically inaccurate half volley. maybe he’s still rusty after the injuries

Raven

He would’ve broken the net if that ball were on target.

Milan10

kaluluan thuram is very strong on 1 on 1. i’ve always wanted thuram to play for milan and finally they have thuram 2.0

Dindudre

Castillejo is a very dumb player very one dimensional and always playing the ball back to our defenders. Maldini better understand that we desperately need a RW pls.

Rossi

Sevila is trying to secure Thauvian now in January, unlike Milan who wants to wait till the summer for free transfer. Maybe this will make Maldini go for Thauvian now, cause there is a posibility that we can lose him to Sevila.

Ronaldinho80

Dumb is little harsh. He is lacking little bit of vision and he is bad passer

Dindudre

Lol we’re way past trying to be nice with castillejo. The guy is just clueless. Also, I’ll really be pissed off if we lose thauvin to Sevilla. That guy is too good and I don’t mind if we switch castillejo for him this January and pay a little more money to get him right now. We need him so bad.

Ronaldinho80

I dont mind the switch eather

Raven

Super entertaining first half from the boys, this Milan without Ibra already plays at 200 kph, but with Ibra they play at 320kph. So far: Romagnoli- Mussacio has been solid, Kalulu is really impressive, his top speed is Cristiano-like. Calabria- Tonalli are OK. Calabria’s long pass to Ibra was a delight to see. The stamina and speed that Calabria adds to the midfield make Tonalli play with more freedom. I think that with performances like this, another DM might not be a priority. Leao is the only one who is not synchronized with the team’s attitude, but he will get… Read more »

Raven

Everyone have a good look at Torino’s 88, he would be great as a vice Kessie

Milan10

lol brahim never created key passes as am in 1st half but just now nearly had an assist playing rw, like he should. shame leao couldnt bury the chance

Ronaldinho80

Leao should have dribbled the keeper

Gbenga AJOSE

Exactly my thought mate…Don’t understand what he was thinking. No disrespect , Dybala would definitely scored that ! Or worst, he would draw a penalty..Leao can be superb at times no doubt.

Ranajaya

Dybala is 27, Leao 21. He will be better than Dybala

Milan10

why did musa leave the pitch? he’s been one of milan’s best players tonite. and romaldini certainly could use some time off. dammit john malkovich

Martin Bernhard

Well mussachio hasnt played a real game in over 300 days so to avoid him getting injured right away i think it does make the most sense to take him off by then.

Milan10

as opposed to romaldini playing every game since his return from injury? guardioli should’ve learnt by now that overplaying players is recipe for disaster. case in point: romaldini’s injury near the end of last season

Martin Bernhard

I get that but still milan will first play on monday next time so romagnoli will have enough time to recouperate.

Milan10

that is if he doesnt get injured or muscle fatigue playing for 120 mins

Martin Bernhard

but its allways a risk that players gets injured when they step on the field but if you put on a player that hasnt played a game for over 300 days and expects him to perform throughout a full match then you both has a higher risk of him slipping up as time goes and he is also in bigger risk of getting injured. Romagnoli has some matches in his legs by now but he has also had his break being out so i wouldnt be as concerned as you but obviously theres alllways a chance.

Last edited 2 years ago by Martin Bernhard
Milan10

musa clearly wasnt having any risk for injuries as clearly he was one of the best and fittest players on the pitch. and its not like he’s just recovered like ibra, he’s actually been ready since november

Martin Bernhard

but he hasnt played a game in nearly a year and if you dont think that affects his sharpness thoughout a match when he does become more tired well then i really dont know what to say because that is a great risk to happen later on. This is not a training match or some easy game imagine had we kept mussachio onfield and then subbed off romagnoli then we would have to play the entire match and extra time with mussacchio who again…. hasnt played for nearly a year. Glad pioli made the choice he did.

Last edited 2 years ago by Martin Bernhard
Milan10

did u even see the match? musa was even sharper than roma, who keeps drawing unnecessary fouls. i repeat, musa has been training for 2 months. what kind of athlete still hasnt gotten conditioned after 2 months training?

Martin Bernhard

offcourse i did and i didnt critisize musas perfomance either but if a player hasnt played for a full year its pretty common that the player doesnt play a full match regrdless if he has been training for some time you must be aware that its costum practice.

Milan10

so according to u its better to risk ur main cb playing 120 mins in less important coppa match? injury prone neymar keeps on playing for full 90 mins after getting back from injuries. why cant musa? besides, its not even a year injury, its 4 months injury.

Martin Bernhard

They have said numerous times that every match will be played as a final so why would you even be surprised by the fact that musa isnt playing an entire match when even in good fitness doesnt mean he is match fit for an entire match. Its a fact that musa hasnt played nearly an entire year but its not a fact that romagonli would get injured which didnt happen either.

Milan10

musa hasnt played nearly an entire year because kjaer and romag have been better not because he’s out injured. he’s only injured for 4 months and he’s been training since 2 months. there’s no reason why he shouldnt be match fit. i can understand benching ibra because he just got back from 2 injuries but no way musa shouldnt play for full match. thank god romag doesnt get injured but its still a risk. also, who’s to say romag wont get injured in near future due to muscle fatigue bennacer style from overplaying? we’ll never know. what we DO know… Read more »

Martin Bernhard

well we have to agree to disagree because thats a lots of ifs in my opinion and even if romagnoli does get injured in lets say march it doesnt necessarily has anything to do with this match but obviously it would have been a huge problem had he been injured in this game. In my book pioli made the smartest move though and i simply doesnt buy the premise that musa necessarily would have kept up his good perfomance he could just as well have made an own goal he could have missed the shootout and viceversa but fact is… Read more »

Milan10

didnt romag get injured from overplaying in july? what about ben? or ibra? or kjaer? those 4 got injured unprovoked. the opponents didnt touch them but still they went down, even before halfway through the match. what does that tell u? the muscles gave up on them which means its due to fatigue from overplaying. this match is exactly the kind of match where reserves like musa should play. and if god forbids romag get injured in near future then of course playing for 120 mins will have something to do with it because muscle injuries is due to cumulative… Read more »

Martin Bernhard

and he did play for 62 minutes, that should be enough for him and yeah fatigue is and can be an issue but this was an important match nevertheless so keeping on the captain does make sense in my view. If musa gets more minutes in the coming matches, all the better we then have an extra string to play on and im sure romagnoli will have some more rest if musa can keep up the perfomances. Had we kept musa onfield it could also have cost us later on regardless of his first half but we are not gonna… Read more »

Milan10

could have costed milan? like musa would’ve scored an own goal or something? lol come on mate, thats far reaching. he was very convincing and seeing as how he makes more than kjaer, kalulu and gabbia, might as well play him before he leaves for free next summer. make no mistake, coppa italia IS important but its not as important as league matches. playing ibra so he can get into match rhythm was wise decision. playing romag for full minutes coppa italia aint remotely wise. its not even semifinals or final yet ffs. hell, he should’ve sit this one out… Read more »

Martin Bernhard

well it was also pretty much to illustrate how you argued no offense though but i get it romagnoli could have been injured and i agree it would have been costly as ive allready said but so would it if we didnt go through to next round. As i said a lot of IFS and that was what i menat about musa own goal or shoot out, its IFS.. Obviously i want us to reach cl qual or win the scudetto more than a coppa victory but as allready mentioned milan will try to get as far on all fronts… Read more »

Milan10

well, lets just hope romag wont get injured anytime soon then. because if he does, like he did last season, then this match played big part

Martin Bernhard

So you say, but thats still speculation and IFS that the torino game would have played a part in it, as ive said previously we will first play again on monday so romagnoli is getting 6 days of match rest before that game. Thats a fact.

Milan10

of course playing for 120 mins would play big part if romag got injured in near future. thats exactly how he got injured last season in the first place: overplaying. he didnt get tackled or anything, he, like kjaer and ibra, got injured unprovoked which meant his body was giving up

Raven

FFS, torino is smelling blood, Kalulu is fine but he is best as a fullback

Milan10

the way zaza keeps aiming at the birds, i think he is trying to recreate his euro penalty shootout experience

Dindudre

Haha. Naw I think he watched our game against Roma and felt Tata was still in that mood . Lol

Dindudre

Calabria was doing well in this game I don’t understand why he took him off for Kessie. We don’t need Kessie in this game. Damn He needed that rest. We can’t have him playing every single game. Smh

Raven

Calabria’s positioning was a bit off, but he almost scored and gave a half goal to Ibra….

Ronaldinho80

I think was a penalty

Milan10

wait, so that red card was for DONNARUMMA? so milan will be without him vs inter/fiorentina? dammit valeri, everyone knows u hates milan but can u make it less obvious next time.

Ronaldinho80

Was it realy for Donna. I thought it was for Pioli?

Milan10

well, u still see guardioli on the sideline dont u. its for donneuer

Ronaldinho80

Haha G. Donna got red card and his brother got yellow card.

Raven

It’s not like he cursed and the mic caught that….

Milan10

hell, for all we know donna might just have said “juve merda” and valeri got triggered

Ronaldinho80

It looks like it is going to be long evening

Raven

Yup, and it’s on Pioli.

You don’t take Calabria when he is doing great on the mid, you don’t send Kessie when he is clearly fatigued.

You send Dalot on the right when Kalulu and Calabria are 100x better than him.

You don’t change Mussaccio a proven defender with good chemistry with Alessio and sub in Kalulu who’s marking game relies on:shit I’m out of position I’ll run and catch the guy

Ronaldinho80

I also would not change calabria

Milan10

calabria needs rest. its been a long season and its about to get longer now that conti is leaving

Raven

Kalulu rb and Mussscio as CB

Ranajaya

Well, and it is a fortune for us that u are not Milan’s coach

Raven

(Cries in suso)

Milan10

dammit brahim, if u wanna keep ur rw spot u better bury clear chances like that

Ronaldinho80

Brahim is little worse than Suso with more energy

Milan10

lol thats harsh. suso is much better crosser but he’s slow as old snail. brahim is faster, better dribbler, more versatile and two footed. ilicic is much much better than both though. want an awesome player

Ronaldinho80

I do not think brahim is much faster. And i think Suso was better finisher and better dribbler actually. Suso just did not like to run or he didnt have stamin.

Milan10

mate, even my grandma is much faster than suso. both brahim and suso are good dribblers but brahim is quicker and faster

Ronaldinho80

He is quicker and faster but he is not crazy fast. I just dont think Suso was that slower but i think he had much worse work rate.

Raven

And he doesn’t bitch all the time, Diaz is always focused.

Milan10

the boy, like theo, is a winner. maybe he’s learnt so much training with champions like ramos, kroos, modric and castipendejo

Ronaldinho80

Ilicic is good. He is more like Cr7 type.

Raven

Now Calhanoglu, Kessie and Theo will have to play unnecessary minutes against a team who is fighting for its life. Great work mister…

Dindudre

Is it just me or is Hauge playing with low confidence and too much fear ? He really needs to step up.

Milan10

he’s one trick pony; cut inside and low shoot or low pass the ball. i dont remember the last time he drifted out wide and sent high cross with his left foot. he needs to learn from rebic and brahim on how to be effective two footed winger.

Dindudre

Can we pls stop with these short corner kicks ?? Smh and btw our players are really looking tired and the need to stop trying to do too much with the one touch passings.

Gbenga AJOSE

I don’t understand this kind of window shopping we are doing. All our targets keep on slipping thru our grab. Simikan that we have been linked with for months now is not likely anymore ….. What’s really going on ?…We will still be sniffing at Thauvin until another club snatches him..

Baresis Dream

Not liking this overtime. As if we don’t have enough fatigue in our squad.

Ronaldinho80

At least we are playing next serie a fixture on monday

Baresis Dream

Yeah, good point. Still Haken, Leao, Theo, Calabria, and more all played roughly 70 minutes. Pioli has been great with managing the players time with this hectic schedule, but still… there’s only so much you can stretch this squad.

Ronaldinho80

I hope we are gonna score before penalties. I fucking hate penalties 🙂

ZionTrain

Pioli’s substitutions killed off this game. Not sure why all the wholesale changes but it definitely affected the team’s chemistry.

This should have been an easy win.

Martin Bernhard

We could and should have won this match far earlier but regardless of substitutes that was made we had several fairly open chances that should have gotten us an atleast 2-3 goals. Sharpness infront of goal was our main issue whether it was ibra, leao, calabria.

Dindudre

This was Tonali’s best game in a Milan uniform so far.

Roberto Giano

No need another CB. We can count on Kalulu

Baresis Dream

All n’ all result is all that matters, even though the performance was a bit uninspiring … Still, as Gattuso said ” you can’t always be Brad Pit”. Good showing by the boys at the end of the day, and an important mental victory that will helps us next match.

Milan10

well, that was shaky performance. in retrospect, it would’ve been better had pioli played milan starters to seal the win first and then gradually benched them as the game went on. its a damn shame that romaldini, hakan and especially theo and kessie had to play for that many minutes. still i have to say, usually, when the match have to be decided by penalty shootout, the team that got pressured into defending had psychological edge over the team thats missing so many clear chances in normal and extra times. but this milan showed their winning mentality by winning yet… Read more »

gerald

Great milan…wonderful saved by tatarusanu…. Sempre Milan

Rossi

Judging from the recent matches. We need a winger more than anything else. Cause without Rebic we dont really have a wing play. Kalulu and even Musachio can be a sub for CB and Benacer is back for the mid +Calabria can fill there if needed. On the wing im sorry to say but Hauge is far from Seria A ready. Samu and Sala are bit better with their work rate, but they dont create nothing either. In fact Leao is prob the best sub for a winger that we have, and he is Ibra sub as well. If we… Read more »

Milan10

wow, milan and man utd on top of their respective tables AND la lakers being defending champions. is this early 2000s again? F sleep, im gonna watch lakers before going to work

Raven

Today I learned: Mussaccio>Gabbia: The man still has it what can I say. I would say that his lack of playtime is something that he did off the pitch. There are rules and codes and he clearly broke one. He is 30 and receives 2Millions per season. A decent backup if you ask me. Reliable-Calabria>Krunic: I’m a fan of Abate, when he was replaced by Calabria I obviously felt sad, but this kid managed to get me excited, hyped, and say FK U De Traitor. He showed a lot of improvement under Rino, but his best form is shown under… Read more »

Milan10

i think gabbia definitely deserves to be reserve cb. the young guy is so good. pobega also deserves to be called up next season

Raven

He deserves to be a reserve, not to start, and definitely not ahead of Mussaccio if he is as fit and concentrated as today.

Right now the scudetto is possible, it’s not the time to invest in the future

Milan10

well, gabbia – kjaer looked solid before they got injured so no, i dont think musa should play ahead of gabbia just because musa played vs torino b. i dont mind musa staying to be honest but he’s one of the weakest aerial defenders i’ve ever seen whereas gabbia is pretty strong in the air, even better than romag

Raven

True true, but I won’t forget our past undefeated run before Guardioli’s. We had RR, Romag, Mussa, and Calabria. And we know that Romagnoli without a solid tackler next to him crumbles under pressure. You got one who is weak on the air but is very good with the ball, and you have a tall guy who is still learning how to do the job. I would go for the experience and the superior technical ability of Musaccio. I’m talking nonsense here anyways, Maldini won’t give him an extention. I said before, Gabbia needs experience, he is getting none at… Read more »

lol somebody’s still reminiscing about the good old days of finishing outside top four under morontella and rino’s reigns i see. to put it simply, ric rod – musa – romag – calamitybria (he’s turned into calahmbria now, thank god) combo was garbage. in serie a 2017/18 they conceded 42 goals in 38 games, it got better in 2018/19: 36 goals conceded in 38 games, then it got worse again in 2019/20 before kjaer arrived and gabbia got promoted to 1st team: 24 goals conceded in 18 games, including that horrible massacre by atalanta. also, who could forget icardi or… Read more »

You can’t deny that the team got results, now, Ibra and Pioli brought back Milan to the place it deserves but the season has not finished pal. Let’s hope for the best. Can’t deny the FACHTS, he got silly red cards and he is weak on the air, I would also add that Rino’s Milan had way too much pressure from the management and coach. But at this moment, where the team is playing with a completely different mentality, the true potential of the players is shown. Rino often said, this team doesn’t believe in themselves, and it’s true, three… Read more »

just finished watching napoli vs empoli. Empoli do have a few interesting young players. Ricci is only 19 but played like a seasoned player in central midfield. Bajrami, 21 year old, was impressive at trequartista. Others like damiani, a 22 years old dmc and viti, 18 year old centreback were also quite decent. I bet Maldini and massara also watched this game as empoli is known to trust their youngsters compared to most italian clubs. on another note, its’ a shame scamacca is joining juve to be 4th choice striker for an 18-month loan deal with obligation to buy for… Read more »

Ricci has been mentioned as a target for milan for over a year but other top italian clubs has also shown interest so who knows he might endup with us down the road but empolis president has made it clear previously that he wouldnt sell him before the seaon ends. Add Simakan to that list as well. It seems the deal is off and he will probobly end up at Lipzig who beat us to Dany Olmo and Szobozlay as well(Both which we scouted for more than 2years). The reality is other teams are willing to invest money, loans with obligations or not they are still paying good cash. Juve also got Kulusevski for 35mil, it seems that in one year they will replace their old squad with young talent whit huge potential. We on the other hand are only bringing low cost young players who might turn out good,… Read more »
