Omg what the fuck is this. I did not know out players have covid. I would try kalulu in calabrias position and calabria on dalot position. Fuck and samu against juve. What about them are they complete, does anybody know?

time for calahmbria to channel his inner lahm and perform well as dm too. i know he can. its a damn shame rebic cant play though. he would murder juve’s makeshift rb (probably demiral). i’ve been watching pirlo’s juve since their preseason game vs novara (i watched the game via utube livestreaming) and i can safely say this is the weakest juve since conte takeover. cr7 is great as always but their mf and especially their fb are total joke. any fast counter attacking team can destroy their defense. i hope samu/brahim and haugiggs will have performance of lifetime. p.s.… Read more »

I wouldnt mess with our backline… maybe hakan will play deeper in mid. He’ll probably be better there than krunic anyways. Just let kessie do the dirty work

hakan and kessie played as double pivot in 4-4-2 set up vs verona last season and he did ok. not great by any means, but ok. problem is, like i said, brahim aint pure am so he cant play there. also, saladmaker and rebic are out so brahim needs to stay on the bench as reserve for hakan/samu/hauge. its moment like this that proves selling paqueta AND bona without finding replacement was a mistake

well, like i said, i believe my own 2 eyes more than what people said mate. brahim is not classic am like ozil, totti, hakan etc. he’s more like winger/playmaker/ss hybrid like ribery, messi, rob mancini etc. in other words, he’s more of a dribbler and shooter than passer

not to make comparisons of their quality but so a player like kaka wasnt an attacking mid but a winger ? i respect your opinions but opinions is just opinions and facts is facts so i dont buy the premise of you using your own eyes on this matter and you also need to put it in perspective that brahim is only 21 years old and has only yet played 32 games at senior level so he will have ample room to further develope speciffic traits. When that is said he can obviously be utilized in other positions as we… Read more »

Well i think calabria can play that role as well but our defense should be kept intact in my view and atleast as a starting formation i believe moving calhanoglu down to the centre mid makes the most sense as brahim can step into his poistion while playing hauge and castillejo on the wings. Juventus deffently are weaker than we have become accustomed to in recent years but they are starting to get up in gears and frankly i still wouldnt be too surprised if they were to endup as winners of the league or atleast a contender to the… Read more »

hakan is milan’s main creative force mate so playing him as dm would mean milan only play not to lose. i dont think thats the right approach. one of rb need to play as makeshift cb. calabria is my pick, kalulu might work as well. conti and dalot would be way too offensive minded to be effective. regarding juve, i seriously dont think they’ll win serie a this season. i saw juve – udinese and had de paul goal been allowed i dont think juve would’ve won. their defense is so easy to break and unlike milan, theyre overly reliant… Read more »

i dont want us to play him as a cdm but as a cm with the greater wokload for kessie to do. Im not saying they will win but it would be foolish to write them off allready remember they have one game less played than us and frankly 10-15 points at the current time of the season can fairly quickly be obtained if a few results goes their way and they at the same time wins their games. As you imply and which has been said numerous times over the years is that serie a is won with a… Read more »

well, like i said, double pivot consist of 1 pure dm and 1 playmaking cm so of course hakan would fill the latter role. but still it would limit hakan’s offensive traits.
juventus won last nite and fair play to them but i dont see them as consistent enough to fight for scudetto. of course their deep squad and winning mentality occasionally help (like vs milan last nite and barca) but judging by what i’ve seen so far, even roma, atalanta and napoli look more dangerous. they’ll drop points vs sassuolo and inter, just watch

Totally agree. Calhanoglu was rated as best AM in Serie A and player of the month. He has the most assists in Serie A. It would be foolish to play him deeper. I honestly would like to see Kalulu or Dalot alongside Kessie. Dalot is 2 footed and he can distribute passes well. He is also better defensively than Calhanoglu. Either Kalulu or Dalot should play alongside Kessie. Pioli should not disrupt the balance of the team by moving Calabria or Calhanoglu out of position for such a big game. They have been 2 of our best players since the… Read more »

Well there is no doubt that hakan is best in his atm role but regardless of what we do we will disrupt the balance regardless of what we do. slacking on the defensive area or inserting a youngster who hasnt played as a cdm before could be far worse and as allready mentioned by me hakan should play as cm and not a cdm so he would still have a fairly offensive role compared to kessie. If kalulu plays in that position then i hope he surprises me but i dont see him being ready for a strong juventus team… Read more »

If we take Hakan out of his natural position than we wont be able to create chances. Rebic is out as well so its all on Hakan to create.

well i get that it wouldnt be optimal but its not like im asking for him to play very defensive in that position and i would actually ask kessie to play in a more defensive role while hakan still can go much forward. I really do believe this is the best solution with the current squad available and if it turns out it doesnt work very well we could allways move him forward later on. A heavily weakened milan squad should think more about getting through this match alive than moving players like calabria or kalulu up in the midfield… Read more »

What would you say to trying Kalulu at DM and leaving Calabria at RB? He has the speed and the agility and the passing to handle the role well. Id like to see him in that role as kind of an Essien/Desailly role. I really dont like the idea of putting Calabria next to Kessie and having CR7 destroy Dalot on the right.

well, that could work too i think. like i said way back when i talked about kessie as makeshift cb, proper dm can be good makeshift cb and vice versa because the requirements are quite similar. hell, milan used to have players like that in rijkaard, desailly, kaladze, ts33, or even de jong and musacchio.

gotta love the nicknames in this chat.

  1. castipendejo
  2. SaladMaker
  3. coach john malkovich
  4. and now Huggins

hahahha . I agree with you, although as many ppl have said, it’s intriguing to see kalulu as DM and calabria in his natural. I do think the sensible choice is calabria as dm (channeling his inner lahm) . If you are going to play someone out of position, i rather do someone with more experience. Let’s not forget kalulu has a total of 3 games of experience. We are almost as experienced as the kid is.

Play Kalulu along side Kessie and let Hauge replace Rebic. IMO, I will play Samu ahead of Diaz in this match. It’s a big match and I know Samu will want to prove that he is not a total flop. Just my opinion tho! Points I know for sure is that it will pay us to maintain our current formation and, play Kalulu alongside Kessie

Samu will lose possession multiple times and probably cost us a goal. Mark my words.

Diaz equally likes to hold on to the ball for too long which is no advantage to us playing a team like Juve. Samu tracks back to help in defence after losing the ball, I can’t vouch for Diaz because we all know he is the Suso kinda player. So Samu is still much preferable to me. Also Samu is a natural RW compared to Diaz who is used in dat position as improvisation.

Castillejo is one of those non-footballers we love signing sometimes. Like Ibrahim Ba or Kevin Constant. Diaz gets my vote any day of the week over him.

I’m not going to be too upset if we draw or lose this one – we got half the team missing thanks to injuries and WuFlu and I don’t think we’ve won a game that Castillejo’s started.

Well the unbeaten run was good. I hope this makes management realize the importance of having back up players. We need better rw, a cf and cdm. We need to learn and come back next game with a big win
