He’s not ready still very raw and different pressure playing for milan. We are up against it now our game plan straight out of window. This has lead to krunic coming on which is not goid but I still believe we can win this.

The way Benevento players reacted was disgraceful, they cried about every single thing and what made me furious was the “captain” of Bonevento was crying the loudest, one of the most dirty players in the league. Expected a bit more class from Inzaghi’s team. Definitely wasn’t a red card moment.

lol how was that not red card moment? it was a high studs up challenge with the studs being much higher than the ball thus it was serious foul play. it doesnt matter whether the player committing the foul actually hits the opponent or not. if u pull that bs, automatic red card for u. case in point: pepe vs barca in 2011 and beckham vs necaxa in 2000. and tonali clearly hit the opponent’s tibia, nearly hit the knee also. very dangerous. i bet u didnt complain when verona’s amrabat got red carded for committing similar foul vs milan… Read more »

Tonali, please. I’ve been saying for a while that this kid sucks. He is slow, extremely unsecure in his feet and very weak mentality. Its not just the stupid tackle today but that hiding behind opponents during build up play kills me. He is the one to open up play and he should adk for the ball and not hide. He had plenty of time to show something but he hasnt time and time again. Return him at the end of the season and buy someone more reliable.

Nerve wrecking first half. The boys started relatively slow and calm, and the goal made them even more drowsy. Tonelli continuing his subpar performance from Lazio, and Rebic and King Kajaer look like they need a few more minutes to get back into their rhythm. Kessie, Hakan, and Romag look sharp, but unfortunately its saint donna that is our mvp for this half.

A non-trivial half break for the coach.

Milan10

that was stupid high studs by tonali but brahim was equally stupid to pull that fancy but inaccurate pass to him putting him in unnecessary trouble near their own box.
also, i hate that milan keep having dm crisis (no ben AND tonali vs juve) when a simple 2.5m dry loan deal for baka would’ve been simple yet sound solution. ffs nazidis u cheap bastard, let maldini spend this jan.
i hope milan can score another goal in 2nd half to kill the game off. benevento are very dangerous counter attacking team as juve can certainly testify

Well i agree it was a dumb mistake but i dont think it was done in malice and seemed to happen because he was a bit late but i really dont think it was worth a red card either as the benevento player was overreacting in regard of the severity. In regard of bakayoko im sure we all would have liked to have him with us but im not so sure he would have liked to have become a bench player with us either regardless of his willingness to join us. regarding baka, like i said, its not even about baka specifically, its about milan urgent need to buy kessie’s deputy. i can understand less milan10ians (*wink) not noticing that back up dm was (and still IS) milan’s most important and urgent need at the start of the season but after what have been happening (krunic disasterclasses, tonali red card, ben’s injury, kessie’s suspension) recently, no more excuses

Well no doubt we absolutely need atleast one addition that can comfortably play cdm/cm for us, If the club cant afford one then they should bring pobega back in a matter of hours then and potentially an aging free agent for the remaining season. I wouldnt really call krunic disasterclass but he is certainly underwhelming in what he has done for us this season and if we get an offer that equals what we paid then im fine with us selling him instantly.

It’s not just Tonali, Leao is the laziest player have ever seen. It’s so annoying. Having a few flashes here and there is not enough. There’s nothing special about Tonali; he’s an average player. The quicker we accept that he’s overrated the better for everyone. It’s not about giving him time; he simply does have what it takes to play for Milan.

I agree. Outside of his goal which was fantastic, and small flashes he’s very lazy, hence why Donna chewed his ass our for not tracking back. If he could play to his potential for at least 60-75% of the game he’d be a real beast.

Kessie and bennecer are crucial to our midfield. If one or the other gets injured or suspended we need quality to come in, not krunic or tonali. This has to be addressed this month or we will struggle in the games there missing, loans will be ideal till summer.

It may sound crazy but I hope we try Kululu at this position. Until we sign a proper mid I mean. Krunic is not a defensive midfielder. He isn’t a natural offensive one neither. Tonali is either in rush or invisible. But this kid showed his great vision and calmness in last few games.

He looked exhausted in the end. And he was clearly unhappy having to play as a right wingback (wasn’t tracking back at all) after Tonali’s red card and before Samu came in and he was moved back to the middle. But to be fair, he’s not a wingback indeed. Hakan at least has played and CM in the left before, so he was a bit more comfortable there – although he didn’t look so happy either, especially in 1st half, even getting a yellow out of frustration.

Good effort by the boys with 10 men, even though Inzagi’s subs seem to help them a bit. Two insights:
1 – Leao is slowly but surely becoming a top player. He just needs a bit more die-hard attitude, like … well, like Zlatan.
2 – The last player Milan can lose is not Zlatan, nor Kajaer … but rather Kessie. A combative defensive midfielder should be our priority in January.

This is still his first season and not every player settle in immediately. Remember Bennacer was bad in a game where he gave away 2 penalties in 1 game in his first season? Now he plays a a big part in the team.
