If Samu isnt playing well and the lads are leading, I hope pioli will sub in Hauge and play it as RW..
Very interested to see how good he’s in that position

The last time Diaz and Haka played together we understood that these two should both start. They both want to do the same thing. We need wide options. Either Leao or Hauge should have started on that side.

Who the heck came up with the idea that the RW should stand next to the corner taker when he is taking corners from the LEFT side. It leaves us a man down on the right and open for counter attacks against a team that is known for counter attacks smh. Why is Samu even standing next to Hakan on the corners just take the dam corner.

Diaz dribles are usualy good when he comes of the bench, when the others are tired. Only Pioli knows why he is playing him as a starter when you have fit Leao and Hauge. Leao can be a target man as well so Rebic can go in his position. As others have pointed above the choise of players for the starting 11 tonight is very poor.

At this point Real Madrid can take Diaz back. Don’t need him. His finishing is nowhere near as good as Hauge.

We need to work on our shootings. We tried some nice shootings in d first half but just that goal post has been one of our major adversaries tonight. Let’s try to rap up Thaurvan deal. Well i spoke about this before. Its not Bennacer fault. The constant swaping of positions between Benacer and Kessie is confusing them an they are leaving the deffence open…Since they started swaping position we cant keep a clean sheet two games in a row.

he could’ve done better but calabria and theo were severely out of position messing up the integrity and structure of the backline during both goals

Niels8

Reply to  Milan10

Well, that cannot be avoided since sometimes the ball is lost when the team is attacking and either of the fullback is up the pitch.. In each case, Kalulu and Kessie did quite well to cover and mark the winger. Kessie has been moved to the left for the very same reason (covering for Theo). Kessie also provided cover for Kalulu who was dragged out by Gervinho. What missing was defending against runner arriving late from the second line, and unfortunately Bennacer was the only one available but could not do his job well..

Milan10

well, like i said before inter match (because i’ve seen how dangerous inter is when they’re able to send low crosses into the box), its better to prevent the ball from entering the box altogether than trying to anticipate or mark opponents inside the box. whoever on the flanks, preferably the fullbacks themselves, shouldnt allow the ball from entering the box. it would be near impossible to mark the overlapping runner coming from behind when u also need to have ur eyes on the ball

The 2nd goal was Calabria’s fault. He didn’t track the run of the Parma player that ran passed him to head that ball. Definitely Calabria’s fault on the 2nd goal.

1st goal was Kessie’s fault. He he didn’t step up to cover the space aka passing lane and he was too late to close down Hernanes who had too much time to pick his spot.

Our next game will almost look like this. Our next opponent will also come and play defensive game .So, Irrespective of who we play and how we play them , it will be the same type of game cos some lower teams believe the only way they can pick points from us is to play defensive game. we therefore need to improve on our shootings, passing accuracy and position and movement awareness among our players . Once we open scouring , the game will be open Another solution the availability of Ibra who will improve our set pieces

in other news, without ex milanisti bakayoko and petagna, napoli were down 0-1 in 1st half. with them on the field in 2nd half napoli they turned things around and won 2-1. true story.
also, i just read that ben has sustained muscle strain and could be out for weeks. suddenly nazidis’ penny pinching during baka negotiations looks idiotic doesnt it. like i said, milan is one kessie injury away from total disaster and anyone who says no to baka clearly doesnt understand football

And anyone who still talk about players who aren’t part of the squad anymore is living in a dreamland. The current milan side aren’t perfect but are better than when all those players are there and it’s normal to have a night like this when luck wasn’t on your side but it’s still a possible game as milan would have lost hope on a night like this when the spirit was lacking.

i talk so milan and milanisti can learn from their mistakes. as a matter of fact, yes milan were better in july; their passing and quick counter attacking style were better. and they sure as hell didnt draw vs roma and parma either

lol what are u saying? that baka and petagna aint good enough for milan because ibra destroyed napoli? so by that logic hakimi, lukaku, insigne and cr7 himself arent good enough to play for milan too?
get it straight buster, napoli are closer now and baka and petaqna played key roles to that fact. and thats all that matters. anyone who thinks krunic and colombo are better reserves than baka and petagna clearly doesnt understand football

I am also bitter about Paqueta and Bona, I think Kahulu could be a good back up for them. His plays remind me of Desailly.

in other news, paqueta’s lyon just beat psg and are now join-capolista with renato’s lille. mind u, lyon werent even top 4 before he joined. like i said, letting him and bona go leaving hakan as sole am was bad mistake

No, the guy might have died in the bench due to a panic attack. He needed to go before his market value drops to $15m. He is a great player, could be even better than Hakan, but his attitude is shit

or he could help milan win vs roma like he did back then. the guy just won vs psg, give the man respect he thoroughly deserves. after all, milan couldnt even beat lille

He was more inconsistent that Calhanoglu. But ten times better than Krunic. Not better than Diaz IMO

@Milan10, dude please stop talking about ex Milan players. It doesn’t matter if Petagna, Baka or paqueta are the best fucking players in the world they don’t play for Milan anymore. So you either comment on current Milan player or your comment is useless, irrelevant and just a waste of fucking space on the comment section.

so its ok to talk about haaland, szoboszlai, isco and those other pipe dreams but not ex milan players? gimme a break. milan would be better with them. its big mistake to let them go and im gonna point that out so people realize it.
also, who died and made u the admin of this comment section?

Paqueta was given enough time to prove himself so I don’t regret him leaving, he was not a right player for Milan.

wrong. paqueta and andre silva werent given enough time to prove themselves. paqueta, baka and piatek were pretty good during rino’s last season because he trusted them. and if u think krunic or even brahim are better am than him then i dont even know what to tell u anymore

I do agree with you most of the time cos your analysis are top notch.letting bona go was a mistake and not signing baka was another including Ibras deputy,.that i can understand but when you bring in Paqueta thats baseless.what has paqueta done, yes his team is topping the league and so, milan is topping with three points, this same team eliminated mancity from champions league including juve. so lets chill. my issue is gazidis if boban was still around we would be better cos he has the balls to talk to management, maldini likes too many dialogue. January sell krunic… Read more »

apparently many still dont get why i mentioned paqueta. like i said, the reason why pioli tried to play brahim and hakan together was because hr wanted to emulate his success playing 2 ballplaying mf together last season (4-2 vs juve, 3-0 vs lazio, 2-0 vs roma, among other matches), but sadly it hasnt worked so far this season because brahim aint ballplaying mf like paqueta or bonad10nho. brahim is a winger so its big mistake to let paqueta AND bona go because now hakan has no reserve. milan should’ve offloaded one of them not both. it doesnt have to… Read more »

To everyone who is complaining, look at the positives.
Milan created chances. Parma’s woodwork was man of the match. We hit the woodwork at least 4 times. We had a goal narrowly chalked off and we fought to the bitter end.
We made 2 clumsy defensive mistakes and we were punished for them.
We all knew that in a long season these things happen.
Rebic isn’t a pure striker. Ideally in Jan, Milan should get a proper Zlatan deputy.
The next matches coming up, we will have Zlatan back. We are still top of table.
Forza Milan.

Pioli panicked last night and it cost us 3vital points! Pioli is a good coach, certainly no doubt about that but!!!! He must learn to be calm and more calculative when the storm is stronger. Subbing the only natural RW (samu) we had on the team was uncalled for. Even if u wanted to take off samu, the best thing to have done was to change the formation to 3-4-3 ( Theo, Roma, Kalulu– Hakan, Kessie, Tonali/Benacer, Calabria– Hauge, Leao, Rebic). We were 1 man less after Leao came on Because he couldn’t play that position. The best thing to… Read more »

Yeah Milan played really bad! We only made 18 goal scoring opportunities. We only made 6 100% chance & we scored two of them so yeah we were pretty bad! pioli also made lots of mistake! His subs helped us to level the game! So fuck him!!!

It is fans like you that settle for anything! It is obvious you are happy drawing a team that is not even in the top 10 on the league table. Pioli is human and as such bound to make mistakes! And he did so many yesterday. Milan threw away very easy 3 points ffs!. 1. Don’t use Rebic as a CF because he is not effective. 2. Don’t play Leao/Hauge in the RW because dey will flop! 3. Don’t start Diaz.. He is more effective when subbed 4. Play Calabria in RW in the absence of Saleamaker/ Samu. Calabria had… Read more »

Im sure all of us is disapointed by the result as such but regardless of who started in or who was subbed in or out its in the end down to the players and really bad luck because as Muratx clearly pointed out we had numerous chances. propably more than usual as parma was pretty much under constant pressure throughout the entire match. We had 4 shots on the woodwork. We had a goal disalowed. Kessie was extremely unlucky his header didnt go in due to the reaction of a parma player. This game could just as well have ended… Read more »

Settle for anything? 60 percent win percentage and you are still questioning his decisions like you ever coach beside football manager and Fifa! We are top of table. We are top of our group. We lost only once in last few months. and the most important thing. We are feared again. Not even In allegry era, we were a team that other fear us. But right now every team we play, parks a bus in front of us. Instead of nagging, enjoy it

After watched some personal highlights, I think we might have a gem in Kahulu as he may be able to become Kessie’s deputy. Great positioning. Decent ball controlling and movement. Smart kid during the match.

I read papu gomez is going to leave atalanta this january.
If Calha not extending, maybe milan can snatch him?
Zsolo -whoever i can’t even type his name- is bound to Liepzig
I would still love to see De Paul to come to Milan tho

We have drawn red star belgrade in the europa league qualification which certainly could have ended up with a far worse draw even though the opposition still need to be respected, Who knows we might even find an affordable and interesting talent or two when playing against them.

Yeah i know, but before we get atleast a round or two further into the competition i’d wait with any predictions on us winning it because if all the favourites endsup winning their fixtures it will be a pretty strong group of contenders up against eachother in the round of 16.

When that is said lets hope its a sign of good fortune for this seasons europa league participation,

On another note lille drew ajax and i gotta say im happy we are not in their shoes meeting them this early 😀 for now atleast that is.
