Jens Petter Hauge was happy with the win and his contribution and admitted he’s working to improve his Italian.

Milan went 2-0 down after 15 minutes against Celtic last night but fought back to win 4-2 at San Siro to secure qualification for the Europa League round of 32.

Hauge played the entire match and was instrumental in helping the squad win as he scored a wonderful goal to put Milan 3-2 (50′), before giving and assist for Brahim Díaz (82′). Hakan Çalhanoğlu (24′) and Samu Castillejo (26′) were also on target.

“The match? I’m really happy, we started the game not so well and we cannot do anything with that, mistakes happen in football so we will keep supporting Krunić because he’s a great player and everyone does mistakes, but the way we responded is perfect and I’m really happy and I’m happy with the performance,” the 21-year-old Norwegian told MilanTV after the match.

“The goal and the assist? I just work hard and keep improving every day, it’s a new step for me here to play with such a great group of players, they are a lot of fantastic players here so I’m enjoying every day and every day I try to learn and improve and we saw the results of that today.

“Qualification? We enjoy playing matches and especially in Europe, it is fun. We have a big group of players so we can handle a lot of matches so that’s perfect for us.”

Speaking to Sky, Hauge said: “It was a good evening for me and for the team, which is the most important thing. I’m really happy with the three points. What I think of Milan’s season? We’re happy, we play for each other and fight with a lot of character. This is a big family.

“It’s important for the team to keep winning, it can also happen to lose but it all depends on how you react. We are first in Serie A and in the Round of 32 in the Europa League, it’s a double objective and we’re proud of it.

“My Italian? I work a lot with my Italian teacher, I hope to speak better soon, and I’m working to improve.”

nice gesture from haugiggs. i also noticed how kessie tried to console krunic straight away after milan conceded 1st goal. even hakan ran half the field to hug krunic after he scored from free kick. this team is solid and united, in total harmony. good job fellas

Joe Helmy

He is very clinical in finishing, some thing that lose form right winger.
