How far did the Soumare guy fare against us. The lacuna left by not signing Bakayoko is still there and we have to fill it. The need to sign Thauvin becomes almost inevitable in the light of the dismal performances of Casillejo. I hope we fix our problem areas this January

Milan needs to go for Thauvian in january for RW. Just watched him not that he is just fast and a good shooter. He is very good decision maker as well. Create chances out of nothing. I think we can get him for like 5mil since his contract is running out.

We have a very good right winger in Saelemaekers. Very few right wingers that are as efficient as him, he supports defense and his attacking is improving with each game he plays. We just need a good back up for him.

Nerve wrecking first half. Calabria was outplayed in the first minutes, and Verona got an early deserved goal. Then Calabria gave a second goal with a bit of bad luck, which really signified that this is not his day. Lady luck however immediately balanced things out with Kessie’s kick deflected to a goal. And then Theo could have, should have, equalized with a 1-on-1 chance. We can get back and win this, but we need to be a bit more relaxed. Maybe it’s also time Pioli tries Rebic on the right to add some more fire power. But a bit… Read more »

2 goals conceded from set pieces again. i knew milan was bad at defending dead ball situations (roma match comes to mind) but the stats are actually worse than i thought. pioli’s said in his interviews since last season that milan players deliberately dropping deep, even as far as standing inside goal area, to defend set pieces is actually their strategy. well, thats dumb because it allows opponents to get so close to milan goal and therefore it would be so hard for donna to react if opponents get a shot on goal, 3-4 m from his goal. i say… Read more »

The constant changing of positions between Kessie and Benacer is leaving our defence expoced. When they were more rigid, staying in their positions Kessie on the right and Benncaer on the left, opponents were hardly even creating chances. I think Pioli needs to go back to this. Dont fix something if its not broken.

Should’ve been a half time change, we lack true playmaker. Hakan is decent, he is great for a mid table team. But we are aiming for much higher. Top4 is a good goal. We can’t rely on one decent play maker.

Zlatan missed 3 penalties now in a row. So let’s see if Pioli is going to make him take more penalties after today. This is just beyond ridiculous now. And his penalties are so predictable. He always shoots to lower right of the keeper. Ibra needs to leave the free kicks and penalty to Çalhanoğlu and Kessie. Also Hauge needs to start over Calhanoglu. Çalhanoğlu has been really poor of late and it doesn’t make sense to play Brahim Diaz over Hauge. Diaz is on loan with no option to buy. Hauge should be the player to replace Calhanoglu. regarding penalty taking, great penalty takers like pele, maradona, del piero, lewandowski, hell even balotelli always have their eyes on gk, not the ball, before and during the time they kick the ball. they also stop for split second before kicking. the reason for that is so they’ll know which way the gk will go just a split second before they even kick, that way they can slot the ball calmly into empty net sending the gk wrong way. ibra doesnt have this ability so its time for him to let kessie take penalties from now on
