Glad we’ve got a break. The team needs it. Hopefully, Maldini will know what to do in the transfer market.

Lol going about the comments after I’ve cooled down a little its funny how fast people turn on this team. People do realize we never lost for 25 games right? It was inevitable that there would be a loss of form and eventually lose. This is the real test now to see if we can be a consistent team even after losing the odd game

its not about the inevitability of losing, its about not addressing the mistakes before its way too late. ibra is clearly not great dead ball specialist, so why let him take all the important freekicks and pens? defending set pieces by dropping deep near donna’s goal area is a bad idea, why keep doing it? playing slow, uncreative krunic as am, let alone lw is bad idea, why do it again and again? letting 2 ballplaying cm bona and paqueta go was also a big mistake because without them, this season milan so far have failed to replicate their july… Read more »

I agree with most of these things. Theo is struggling I think bc rebic hasn’t been playing as much. Theo doesn’t have a connection with leao and that’s a fact. The coach needs to play rebic from the start and let him get back into his groove. Everything else is we have creative players with speed and they are all on the bench! Hakan has been horrible so Diaz needs to start above him. Also hauge had 14-15 goals last year and 11 assists and yet he only get s10 min here and there? That’s insane. Play him on the… Read more »

Rebic is two footed so he can be tried on the right side as well.He played for Croatia as a RW. Btw news say Manchester is contacting Hakan and are ready to give him the sallary he wants. Thats bad news for us.

I honestly don’t think that’s a bad idea. Hakan was never that good in my eyes and his entire in Milan except for the end of last year and a few games this year, he’s been trash. Dominik has shown to be much better and consistent at a really you g age compared to hakan.

“i agree with most of these things” that means ur one step closer to becoming solid milan10ian mate. good for u *wink regarding theo, surely he connects much better with rebic than with leao because, due to experience, rebic is understandably much more complete player who knows when to pass, when to dribble and when to attack empty spaces on the flank and inside the box whereas leao is still just skillful but unpolished dribbler who always wants the ball and run with it. however, the absence of rebic doesnt explain theo’s laziness and lack of intensity lately, not to… Read more »

we all think milan signed one of the best lb – Well i cant speak for other milan fans and neither can you but i wouldnt be surprised if you actually are correct in that assumption BUT its been pretty clear from the get go that Theo isnt much better than average in the defensive department which is his main duty in the position he holds up. Had he not been as proficient as last season scoring lots of goals he wouldnt have been hyped up half as much as he was. In my view he might turn into a… Read more »

obviously i cant speak for other milanisti but my spider sense and batlogic tell me ALL milanisti, milan10ians and les midtables alike, consider theo an upgrade from ric rod, antonelli, taiwo and other lb milan had since maldini, and rightly so. dont get me wrong, theo IS talented, although not as talented as donna and leaonaldo, but talented nonetheless. the problem is lately he somehow looks so jaded on the pitch. i know the tight schedule can be tiring but he’s 23 and isnt even france regular yet, plenty of time to rest. but what i notice is that as… Read more »

Well surely he is an overall better player than those players you mentioned but in his position defending is the main objective and in my view he isnt especially an upgrade defensively compared to for example rodriguez he is just way faster than the swiss player. Going forward though he is lightyears ahead of all of those players mentioned by you. He simply needs to improve bigtime on his defensive abilities and as you mentioned in this match thread previously his one on one situations.

robertheo carlos is natural attacking fullback so its unrealistic to hope he’s gonna perform as great as thuram or maldini defensively. having said that, i think theo does much better defensively in 2020 compared to 2019. his standing tackles and the way he outruns wingers like mkhitaryan and berardi and takes the ball away have been impeccable. the problem is, lately his performance is not up to previous standard. maybe its fatigue, maybe he’s still adapting to pioli’s more pragmatic approach or maybe he’s just slacking off knowing ric rod and laxalt aint around anymore. my point is, he’s much… Read more »

Bona was a shame to let go but paqueta was ass. He’s too slow and he holds the ball up waaay to long. I’ve been right about our signings so far and I’ve been right about Milan being too slow in offense. Milan need to get domink in atm and use rebic and hauge as the wings. Hauge had 14-15 goals and 11 assist last year and he’s on the bench all the time??? Better than using samu/salemakers and leao. These 3 are sub material at best

paqueta is the reason why lyon have been unbeaten since he joined. italian coaches have problems with showboating players; pioli doesnt like paqueta, capello didnt like savicevic and young ibra, its normal. but the fact is milan beat roma, lazio and juve by implementing beautiful possession football last season with paqueta. milan attack is actually not slow but samu and hakan just dont perform lately. u cant say leao, rebic, saladmaker, hauge, brahim are slow because they aint. its just milan attack doesnt flow as smoothly as when milan still had paqueta/bona because today only rebic, ben and ibra (hakan… Read more »

I get what your saying but if you think we beat those teams last year bc of fucking paqueta, your out of your mind lol he had many chances to shine in multiple positions. He’s too slow on the ball during build up. He never really was a show boat in my eyes bc all he did was just hold it up. I’m glad he’s doing good in Lyon, he just wasn’t a fit for Milan. Also Milan’s attack when building the play is slow. However, we do have fast players like rebic, leao and hauge in attack. But samu… Read more »

well, it was paqueta who started the movement that led to rebic’s goal vs roma wasnt it? he’s not fast but he’s good at keeping and distributing the ball. important things only hakan and probably ben can do as well. brahim, hauge, rebic etc are great and fast dribblers but they cant keep possession. put it this way, none of pep’s barca’s mf and attackers were particularly fast but the ball moved beautifully fast when they played, because those guys knew how to pass and keep possession. also, did i mention lyon have been unbeaten after slow start this season… Read more »

Lol calhanoglu wage demands make me laugh. The guy gave us three seasons of misery and all of a sudden plays 20 good games and demands 6m a year? Not to mention the last few games he’s been poor again. If he showed me consistency at the level he was playing then I’d say he absolutely deserves it. But you play poor for so long have a good run of games and all of a sudden you’re top class?

Ya if he can’t agree on lower wages he should be sold in January. Like I said, half a season of fine form doesn’t make up for 3 seasons of him being below par to earn 6-7 million. I wish we could sign him and then sell him for a higher figure but if that can’t be done get rid of him in January. Szoboszlai is linked and continues to show class and consistency at 20 years old

Hakan would be around 15, maybe 10 with an expiring contract, making a loss in the books. What a asshole, he played like garbage for 75% of the matches and now he is too class

If we had the budget: Szobozlai, Goretza, Sabitizer. Let’s be honest, Kalulu, Colombo and Haugue are Serie B players

I blame Fasone Mirabeli for the salary demands of players. Not just Hakan but others are asking for high salarys as well. It all started when Fasone and Mirabeli gave Donaruma 7mil per season and made him the highest payed goalkeaper ever in Italy. No doubt other crucial players will want something close to that now.

Dude, the original idea was 7 million now and next mercarto we cash on you and the parasite. But Milan’s fans are romantic as F and we don’t want Gigio to leave because he will be forever a milanista and he will make history with the club bla bla bla. He will consistently ask for more and someday he will have to go.

6 million is fine right now, he has plenty of experience and he plays with hunger and a cool mind. Now he needs to improve if he wants to earn more period.

Let’s be real here, Donna is the only person worth his salary. He’s easily in the top 5 goalies in the world and I personally wouldn’t trade him for anyone else. Everyone else has not been performing on a world class level like Donna so no they don’t deserve it. Hakan has been garbage and Roman seems to have plateaued. Donna keeps improving and we would be beyond foolish to let him go
