Castillejo Needs to be benched, Lille are a very physical, fast and athletic team with a lot strong and powerful players, I’m sorry but Castillejo is too weak to deal with that, don’t get me wrong brahim isn’t the most strongest player either but he has the intelligence and skill to deal with them, you can’t play someone like Castillejo against a team which relies so much on their athletic abilities. Well as a AC Milan fan I wish Castillejo all the best, I hope he proves me wrong tonight

I pray we win. Forza milan. I have been disappointed with castilejo also – that he barely goes past his marker, and lacks physical strength. But let see what happens before we kill him. If we beat lille, it will be my biggest win of the season so far.

Off topic… F..k roma ! F..k fonseca ! F..k the refferees ! What a huuuge penalty not given to CFR Cluj ! Not saying that Cluj was decimated by covid and injuries… It’s so annoying and frustrating to see roma and fonseca’s face… He said the draw against Milan was fair, isn’t it ? F..k roma, forza Milan ! We need to beat Lille but it’s a tough game and we play with the reserves !

This is insane! Why is krunic and samu starting when we have rebic and jens that should be playing the wings! Krunic is not an attacking player. He’s proven this every time he plays. He’s a replacement for the cdm’s! Samu has been garbage so wtf! Jens and rebic are the ones that we need to get goals from and they are both benched! We have zero speed up front! We’ve been over this a billion times. If your front 4 have no speed, you get in trouble. We will be relying on zlatan and brahim until we sub in… Read more »

Brahim should be starting in the centre or on the right wing. Rebic should be on the left wing. Samu shouldn’t be in this game at all. But, maybe he’ll surprise everyone today. Krunic is not a ball-playing, or game-dictating kind of player. Tonali will have to step up big time for this. For the Spraha game, Bennacer did that. He sent the ball to Ibra which earned a penalty – although Ibra failed to score the penalty. Bennacer then finds Dalot with a long ball and Dalot feeds Leao to score. Another long ball from Bennacer to Dalot for… Read more »

If Milan loses the game, i will blame it all on Pioli. All our goal threats are sitting on the bench. Castillejo does not score goals, Krunic does not score goals. I dont see how we can have, Rebic, Leao and Hauge ,who could guarantee goals or create problems for the opponent not starting. Our attack is blunt. Like trying to cut a tree wit a pipe. Ibra and Diaz need support in that attack

I hope everyone here can see what a difference having speed on offense makes. You put in hakan and push Diaz outside when he has no speed. He’s quick. But not fast. You want quick players inside, and fast players outside. Leao was wrong to bc he’s lazy on defense and offense. Our first loss had to come but at least have the best team out their ‍♂️ we are allowing them free shots, there’s no pressure when they cross the field. It’s a joke

This is ridiculous. Down 3-0. Kind of obvious, we are playing with 10 men (11 if you count tonali). He is avoiding the ball and doesnt cover, pass, recover like bennacer. In one fell swoop everything crumbled! This one us one Pioli. Lille is the strongest opposition in this group. You put your best foot forward. Samu and Krunic were never to play this game.

Rebic or Leao on left wing. Diaz on right wing. Calhanoglu in the middle behind Ibra. Then you have Hauge to come on. Bennacer should have started ahead of Tonali. This was an important match.

To be honest Pioli shares the blame for his selection but the team were getting too confident. I’ve noticed in the past 7 games they’ve stopped pressing and so slow in the build up. I think we’ve been found out. Our wingers stay in the opponent’s for far too long. The pivot midfielders can’t do all the work. I’m so disappointed with Hernandez, he needs competition.

I hope Milan is learning how soccer is played. Lille is up by 3 goals and still kept pushing for more goals. If you walked into game at the 80th minute you would think Lille are the team down by 3 because of the way they were pushing for more goals. That is how soccer is played. Milan scores one goal and relaxes, inviting alot of pressure from the opponent. The problem with stripping Romagnoli of the armband is what will his attitude be like. I didn’t like the fact that Gattuso made him captain, because like most have observed – he didn’t and still doesn’t have the charisma to lead. I think he may have to be sold. If the right offer comes, take it… Moving on, I agree that Pobega should return, if you’re not getting a solid DM. Szoboslzai at 25m is a good investment. If De Paul is around that range – all good. Yep. We sure did. What’s ironic is that this Lille side has the type of players Ralf Rangnick wanted at Milan. Young, athletic, and technical.

Lille midfield out muscle us and that was mostly due to Bennacer’s absence but even after he came on they still had the upper hand.

We got beaten by a team that had a better tactics, gameplan and much more athletic players.

Milan should strong consider Renato Sanchez who was world class today.

Exactly. Every time I said we were too slow ppl acted like I was crazy. The funny thing is we have fast players. Leao, rebic and hauge are all fast and skillful and all 3 were on the bench. This was not a game for Ibra to start either. We needed to fight speed with speed. Rebic, leao, Diaz and hauge should have all started. I’d say we really should get upamecano. Roman is slow and def not our best cb. Gabbia was playing much better than him

Agreed. Romagnoli is an average player and he has reached his peak. I don’t believe he will get any better.

Milan should cash in on Romagnoli and Çalhanoğlu in next summer in my opinion. Even Lille defense was better than ours today.

I agree, Roman has peaked in my eyes as well. Gabbia needs to play more as well. I’d rather him make those mistakes. Upamecano and dominik would be great buys to replace them. Romans not going anywhere but he needs to be benched

Whooped! . Milan 10 always echoes my thought. I still can’t believe we ignored Bakayoko and got Tonali. He’s not and will not be world class just average so let’s stop with the bullshit. Samu is a chicken. I think this defeat would remind us that we are still an average team because the players and even the directors now think they’ve won the champions league just because they’ve been quite lucky. Almost all the players want a pay rise. For what exactly? I didn’t see any of the Atalanta players asking for an ass licking after qualifying for the… Read more »

“Almost all the players want a pay rise. For what exactly? I didn’t see any of the Atalanta players asking for an ass licking after qualifying for the champions league back 2 back.” correctamundo mate. truer words havent been spoken lately. 8m for donna, for conceding 2nd goal vs lille very cheaply? 6.5m for hakan, for having good 6 months out of roughly 3.5 years? regarding tonali, for me its not that he’s below par, its just that he’s simply not a dm. kessie looked tired, possibly even injured, tonite so he often didnt track back tenaciously and milan defense… Read more »

We don’t need Bakayoko. Let’s be patient with Tonali and not get carried away after today’s game. The entire team was poor including Donnarumma and Ibra. Bakayoko is not good at moving the ball forward and when he’s under pressure he turns over possession as well. Milan would be better off with a player like Renato Sanchez in midfield who is better tactically, defensively and offensively. Milan still need to improve certain fringe players who are not good enough like Krunic and Castellijo. Milan must try to move these players out next summer including Conti. Icardi is needed as a… Read more »

“We don’t need Bakayoko. Let’s be patient with Tonali” in other words, 3-0 defeat wasnt enough? what defending did tonali the actual cm do tonite that should convince milan that they shouldnt get another dm?

I think tonali will come good but I also think he’s not a cdm. But the formation we play is really not suitable for him. I’d say maybe a 433 or a 4321 might work better for him.

i still believe that tonali will come out good but as it is now he still cant adapt to milan’s pace and double pivot system. he’s so used to brescia gameplay flowed through him the deep lying playmaker. here at milan he cant dictate the tempo and dominate the ball as he sees fit; his job is to win the ball and pass it to hakan or 2 wingers. i hope he can get his act together fast because even ben needs rest sometimes

My friend don’t over react on today’s game. Tonali is very young and has a lot of room for improvement. The entire team was poor today including Romagnoli and Ibra. Plain and simple.

Yes Milan need another DM. What about Renato Sanchez. What do you think about that?

WE NOW RETURN TO LIKE MILAN10 SAID PROGRAM “ Milan10 3 years ago As ive said many times before: auba > morata > Oh well, whats done is done. Most important thing is that renato and auba are practically offering themselves on silver platters and i hope fassobelli seal the deals fast.” ur rossoblog regular nick; u know my stance on renato, auba, conte etc. shame renato didnt come because milan really had the money back then but morontella and fassobelli were busy trying to fiorentinize milan by targetting milan badelj, kalinic etc. any sane man would know renato >>… Read more »

I really don’t know but you might have said the same thing about many other players but turn out average for big teams with history of Milan, could you mention those too? Playing in big clubs is not easy, what anyone saw from Renato tonight was a top world class footballer but reminding you just go and check average Renato in Bayern and a bit more than average in Lille since he’s there you will get to the conclusion.. man if Renato was often (I’m not even saying always ) like tonight he shouldn’t be in Lille from Bayern!

ok, lets do headcount here:
i said get ibra, draxler, hakimi, cesc/moutinho, darmian, pastore, ozil, fofana/todibo, auba, renato, depay, szoboszlai, brahim, rakitic, modric.
regarding renato, he has been pretty good since last season actually. i know, i watched him, cutrone andre silva and niang

Your not wrong here. I too wanted many of those players. Draxler is rotting in psg, depay is waisted in Lyon, szoboszlai is waisted at Salzburg, def should have gotten Sanchez as well. We would be a much better team if we have more speed and skill
