Ante Rebić has recovered from his injury and he’ll be back on Sunday to face Udinese at the Friuli.
The season of Rebić has not yet really begun yet: he was suspended for all of Milan’s preliminary Europa League matches and got injured on Matchday 2 in Serie A against Crotone.
However, the return of Ante is very close. In fact, as reported by Sky Italia, today (Friday) the Croatian trained normally with the group at Milanello.
Therefore, the player will be called-up for the match against Udinese on Sunday at Friuli (12:30 CET). It’s unlikely of course that he will start given that he’s been out for a while and that the attack of Alexis Saelemaekers, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Rafael Leão and Zlatan Ibrahimović has been doing well.
The return of Rebić is important for coach Stefano Pioli as Ante established himself as a key player last season, finishing the campaign as the Top Scorer of the Rossoneri with 12 goals.
