Hakan Çalhanoğlu has recovered earlier than expected, while the return of Ante Rebić may be on Thursday.

Milan have a very difficult match coming up tomorrow night as they take on Roma at Stadio San Siro (20:45 CET).

In the training session on the eve of the game, Coach Stefano Pioli has however received some excellent news.

As reported by Sky Italia, Çalhanoğlu, who was supposed to miss three games through an ankle injury, has in fact recovered and is 100% and fit to start. In fact, Sky tips the Turkish to start against Roma alongside Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leão behind Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Hakan, therefore, only missed one game through injury, recovering much quicker than expected. Another return is on the cards for Thursday as Sky claims that Rebić could return against Sparta Prague. The Croatian didn’t take part in today’s training session but he’ll have a decisive test tomorrow to see if he can be called up for the match in the Europa League Group Stage.

Probable XI vs Roma (Sky): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Davide Calabria, Simon Kjær, Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernández; Franck Kessié, Ismaël Bennacer; Alexis Saelemaekers, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Rafael Leão; Zlatan Ibrahimović.

With Calha return, Leao on LW, and unavailable Mancini (CB) of Roma, Milan will crush Roma tonight

I hope Dalot can play on LB as good as on RB.

Dalot really didn’t impress me so much. Aside from us winning he didn’t really have a really good game.

He was losing the battles allot on his side and he looked very slow. Didn’t really offer much in attack but did well to keep possession. Focused more on not losing the ball which is understandable because its his first gamr in the red and black, the confidence will come in time but that’s about as far as it went with his performance against celtic.

Would I want delot to play in the league against strong opposition. Well I believe with what I saw against celtic alone defensively he is more reliable then calabria and I say this only because calabria is in great form but how long does that last through out 30+ games. I mean if calabria does have those bad games every now and then it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have someone more defensivly astute coming on for him.

I’ll judge dallot once he has more games under his belt and has more confidence in attacking phase of his game then I’ll be able to determine if he should play or not

well, i’ll be double dog damned. finally zlakan can play and wreak havoc on on roma defense so hard that kumbulla will regret his decision to join them. although i must say, it’d be very irresponsible to play hakan for 90 mins after he just recovered so if he is going to play from the start, i hope guardioli can sub him off after min 70’

Why is he in a haste is he scared that Hauge will take his place he should take his time and recover fully well so he don’t go on a lengthy spell again time for Milan to capitalize on the advantage of seria A juventus is down at the moment I think the competition is just Napoli
