Zlatan Ibrahimović has announced he has beaten the Coronavirus and his quarantine can now end.
On September 24, a few hours before Milan’s match against Bodø/Glimt, it became official that Ibrahimović tested positive for Coronavirus.
Today, the club confirmed a third case (after Ibra and Léo Duarte) as Matteo Gabbia tested positive, but an important boost arrived in the evening: Zlatan has recovered from COVID.
“You recovered. Health authorities have informed, the quarantine is over. You can go out! #fuckcovid19 #godiscomingforyou”, Ibrahimović wrote on his Twitter account.
The club later confirmed with a statement of their own: “Milan announces that Zlatan Ibrahimović has tested negative to two consecutive swabs. The City of Milano Health Authorities have terminated his quarantine.” Zlatan took one swap last night and another one this morning.
The news come at a very good timing for Milan who have begun preparations ahead of next week’s Derby della Madonnina against Inter. A returning Zlatan would be excellent for Stefano Pioli.
