Frederic Massara has made it clear ‘I am not convinced we will make any more signings’ as deadline is tomorrow.
The transfer market in Italy ends tomorrow at 20:00 CEST and Milan are still without the central defender they’ve declared is a priority many times before.
Frederic Massara spoke to Sky Italia before the match at Stadio San Siro against Spezia on Sunday, giving an update on the mercato:
“The mercato? We’ll see, there are a few hours left. If there is an opportunity to improve on acceptable conditions then we’ll consider it. A center back? We are evaluating whether there are plausible conditions to move forward. Kabak is not the only one, but with so little time remaining, I am not convinced we will make any more signings. There’s a short time and I’m not sure we’ll do anything else.
“A mercato beyond central defenders? If something happens then it’ll be exclusively in central defense but it seems unlikely at the moment. Dalot? He arrived today, we are happy. He’s a quality player and he will be able to contribute to the team.
“The fact that I denied a move for Hauge? I said so last week, but during the match Rebić’s injury made us change our mind and accelerate for Hauge.”
