Ozan Kabak is once again a target for Milan but the distance from what Schalke want is very big.
Milan would like to sign a center back before the end of the market and after being linked with Takehiro Tomiyasu, Nikola Milenković, Wesley Fofana, Kristoffer Ajer, Matija Nastasić, Germán Pezzella, Antonio Rüdiger and others, the top target now seems to be Ozan Kabak.
The 20-year-old was a target of the Rossoneri also last summer but he rejected Milan in order to move to Schalke, where he’s played 29 matches.
As reported by Milannews.it’s Antonio Vitiello, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are seriously trying to sign Kabak. Contacts are taking place with the agents of the player but at the moment the requests of Schalke are too high for Milan as they want €30 million for the Turkish international.
Milan, however, have very limited funds and they will not go beyond €15-20m for Kabak or anyone else, as seen in the negotiations for Tomiyasu of Bologna, who is valued at €25 million.
Oh my days! If fate will be so kind, please let it give us Kabak if Maldini and Massaro will scrape their heads for smart ideas to make the deal happen. Fingers crossed.
We don’t have the luxury to be picky. Good CBs are very rare these days and we need a partner for Romagnoli. We have 45M to spend so spend it. When are we gonna learn?! we have already lost Ruben Dias, Fofana… Rudiger is PSG/Tottenham bound, Eric Garcia is Barca bound. We can’t be signing RB Tomiyasu, 4th choice Nacho, or irrelevant Nastasic.
Why do you think Tomiyasu isn’t good enough?
why do you think he is? he is an untested Right-Back, who we for some reason have to pay 25M, when with extra 5M, we have a chance to sign a tested and talented Centre-Back, who even Klopp wants on his side.
I kept wondering when Milan will be wise enough to sign the right defender to be Roma’s partner
It now looks like all the news about Bakayoko to Milan bla bla bla is all scam. Repot says Napoli wants to get him on dry loan. That means there are lots about this Bakayoko issue that we don’t know. Could it be that Chelsea just want to hard on us ?
This very Management is here to recoup what Elliot has spent so far. They are not willing to spend a dime anymore. The club made money from the sale of Siso, paqieta, RR and now we have xtra 15M from europa. Still we cant buy Tomiyasu or Baka outright. Top will be far from us this season with this cheap players system.
Since we dont want to spend any. The club should just go for experience free agent players.
It is quite clear Milan are not serious about building a team that can at least finish in the top four this season. Let not anyone be fooled into thinking that the team as it is now can finish in the top four. Playing teams like Crotone, Bologna can’t give us the real assessment of the strength of the team. Wait until the big boys come into town. I don’t think we’re at the level of Inter, Juventus, Napoli, Atlanta and even Roma. If we’re not willing to invest in quality players, then we might as well forget about this… Read more »
It’s true. Our starting 11 when rested and fit is good enough to compete with anyone. But as soon as we lose a key player our quality is greatly reduced.
It just makes sense that they want more..this guy has a market value of 29 M according to Transfermarkt..
if i’m not wrong, i just don’t remember any players, from all of our targets, nobody reject Maldini, but almost all their agent reject Edliots bid.. all in football respect Maldini, he used to be one of the gods in the field, the captain of the captains, he’s up there with such Maradona & Pele, it’s so important specialy as transfer negotiator.. i can’t imagine if Maldini in Chelsea/City/Madrid with trust & money they have he can bring even Mbape/Messi.. but unfortunatly, the board don’t give syht about it, our club owned by loan shark, the most important thing for… Read more »
