Congrats for the win, that Norway team played pretty well but we should have scored more goals. Samu is really mediocre, he tries to go past players and doesnt succed, we works hard and runs a lot but he really lacks that final touch. Our most attacks came from our the right side, if we get a quality winger than we dont need a new RB. We also need CD and maybe a backup for Ibra… i hope Ibrahim can play behind striker loke calhoglu cuz we also lack a backup player for him. And whats with our 4th midfielder?… Read more »

What pisses me off is that a mediocre like Samu Castillejo keeps playing while young king Leao gets thrashed and benched. Every one especially Pioli keeps saying that Leao must prove himself when the star boy is not given enough time to play. Rebic is both footed he showed that against Napoli with a great cross for Theo Hernandez who scored on a lovely volley. So why doesn’t Pioli move Rebic to the right flank? Why doesn’t he play his best forwards together like Klopp and Guadiola do? With Leao on the left flank, Zlatan in the middle it is… Read more »

Coach, I can’t tell if you are being sarcastic or encouraging. Haha
If it is the former, then you should know that you were the only one in the bunch who was fired when riding high with 5 consecutive victories. I guess just because they gave you the chance also made you think that they would treat you fair. Except they didn’t.

Nice job Jane, Black players have not been widely accepted no matter how good they are, they still have to try twice as hard, especially last season, it really hurts so bad. How can the EPL title winners Liverpool FC decide to hand over the Player of the Year award to Saido Mane? It hurts, but I guess they made a mistake, he has not been widely accepted. Then I looked at Arsenal FC, they won the FA cup, giving the same award to another black man (Aubameyang), that must be insane, are there no white boys in that team,… Read more »

You said foolish things ! Black players aren’t accepted ? Vieira, Pogba, Kessie, Weah, Kante, Yaya Toure, Dida, Robinho, Mane, Seedorf, etc, etc, etc, etc… Weah and Gullit and Ronaldinho won golden ball, sometimes it’s good to think better before talking, this is a frustration not a truth
P.S. : I think I didn’t understand the sense of your comment, the metaphore in it

I stand for what I said despite your comments. And I think you made my point. Mane belongs to Liverpool with Klopp and Aubameyang belongs to Arsenal and was recruited with the seed of Wenger. I mentioned the coaches are some of the best humanists, didn’t I? Which proves my point. Just because you are included in a club doesn’t mean that your are equally treated. And I did not and am not particularly saying that anyone was or is racist. I should have been more clear. The point is neo-colonialism. You are included but not treated equality. This behaviour… Read more »

You should maybe try medication or some other form of treatment, Jane. Your hysterical rant about rascism is not just completely divorced from reality, it is utterly ridiculous. Delusional hysterics.
Oh, and shame on you for trying to implicate Maldini, Pioli etc as rascists.
The club, and the entire football world, would be much better off without people like you spreading your “theories” in online fan forums.
Shameful.

Thanks. I didn’t watch the game so i didn’t know about the fall. Your point makes sense to me now about the substitution. Cos Maldini is not a striker, Colombo is the only natural striker we have in the team for europa for now. I hope he recovers in time for Sunday’s match

Get it bro, the boy is just 18yrs of age playing in an European cup and coupled with the fact that Zlatan is out, he has to keep playing in the league games and also on Thursday next week and until who knows when Zlatan will return (except you want to be using Rebic/Leao there). So considering these facts, I think Pioli made a wise choice taking him off at that time in other for him to recover. I wouldn’t put so much pressure and responsibility on an 18yrs old.

At what age did Donna become a Milan regular? Even Paolo Maldini. How old is Jens Hauge who scored against us yesterday. The injury/ slight hurt at the end of first half makes more sense to me for the substitution cos if fit, he needs more minutes to keep improving his condition on the pitch

Milan should keep an eye in this left winger from Glimt, Jens Hauge. He’s only 20, and their top scorer. Today, dude gave us all kinds of trouble too. Assisted their first goal in a great play and pass with his weak foot, scored the second on a beautiful strike (yeah, maybe Danna could’ve done better, but still…), then made another fantastic play in the end that the other guy missed from point blank. The kid is quite skilled, tall, has good speed and strength. Also, shouldn’t be very expensive. I hope Maldini was taking notes. On Milan’s side, not… Read more »

Man it has to be something! What’s the point of signing tonali and Diaz if they are barely going to get game time. 10-15 min is not enough time to even get in the game. And when you put them in that late, we are usually winning and tryin to shut up shop. Instead we put krunic on the wing??? Wtf!

Tonali shouldn’t be on the bench right now because he is unprepared and slow, I didn’t like his attitude on the pitch, how he lost Hauge, he must be out of the team for 2-3 games and remember this is not Brescia or serie B

Idk if you’ve played football at high levels, but you literally can’t do shot with only 10-15 min of game time when the team is trying to close the game out. You simply cannot get into the rhythm. Tonali needs waaay more game time to get things in motion. As for samu, that guy is a sub player at best. We need wingers!

er, not really. last nite javi martinez scored winning goal 5 min after he came on. do u have to mention solskjaer who came on in 81th min in that legendary final?
i think its more due to tonali not being 100% fit physically and tactically because he’s been absent for so long and that he’s milan newbie. playing krunic and maldini out of position also messed milan up. in short, it was tactical blunder by pioli

After Milan switch from 4231 to 442, they suffered. I think Pioli was thinking of counter-attacks, but the team suffered and looked out of position. Pioli should have considered Diaz for his speed, not Maldini.
So happy for Calanoglu, I hope he continue like this.

How come Castillejo is still that thin and he hasn’t improved his stamina or speed? He hasn’t developed his right foot or improved his dribbling. Saelemaekers there is your chance.

Maldini needs to see Samu and do the complete opposite, a winger in Serie A needs to be like Rebic, stamina, strength dribbling.

Only Laxalt, Samu and Maldini are weak and delicate. WTF Pioli, train them, impose conditions.

It’s funny how most people wrote off calhanoglu and in the last 8 months he’s a completely different player! Absolute class today! This team put up a good fight and they play beautiful football So good on them, thankfully we were able tk grind out a win. We still have a few problems but it’s only been a week into the season. Also to add, milan should actually attempt to go all out for de paul. I never really liked him and to be honest don’t know why, but he is a class player and very versatile. to be perfectly honest, the match wasnt as remotely close and tight as the scoreline suggested. bodo were decent team but milan were in total control for at least 2/3 of the game (around 65% ball possession, superior shots on goal) and the goals conceded were due to individual errors (1st goal: out of positioned calabria, not kessie, should’ve covered that right flank and prevented the low cross, kjaer and gabbia should’ve marked their men better. 2nd goal: ben should’ve marked better and donna didnt even try to use his palm to tip the ball over) but after those bizzare… Read more »

Guys, relax, just calm down. We were playing with an emergency team, with Primavera players, with last minute changes and (obviously) zero available depth. Do you think Pioli wanted to field Maldini as ST? Or to play not ready players out of position?
It is really not the smartest thing to draw conclusions out of such a game.
The performance was great given all this. We scored 3 and deserved at least one or 2 more. Plus as you say both goals were individual errors.

u wouldnt calm down if/when milan pull a derby meltdown again after leading comfortably would u? sometimes u need to fix the problem before it gets too big to handle. also, how was 18 yr old maldini more competent than brahim? how was slow, unimaginative, less skillful krunic as lw a good idea? pioli shot himself in the foot and had the opponent been proper team like tottenham/wolfsburg/psv milan would’ve crashed out and no milanisti would’ve been able to say “calm down”. best defense is a good offense. by making ur offense impotent ur basically inviting ur opponents to get… Read more »

Let’s just say that we don’t quite agree in this one. Milan won because they vastly dominated until the 70 min (or so). And this deserves credit given the circumstances. To “Had Bodo scored in the last min…” argument, one can answer “Had Milan scored one of the 4-5 additional chances, there wouldn’t be any game in the 2nd half.” This is not football logic. “The best defense is attack”. True but in case you missed it, Milan started with Primavera players as attackers. So to put in simple, you need attackers to attack. I would agree with the criticism… Read more »

the thing is, pioli DID have option, colombo. he’s young and barely plays so its not logical that he should get tired in min 57. what pioli did replacing him changed the balance of milan wnd hence the game. he shouldnt’ve done that. remember udinese game last season? on 2-1 scoreline he also got pragmatic and asked milan to be defensive by subbing on krunic and sure enough udinese scored right after. luckily rebic scored in dying mins but it was a mistake by pioli to try to defend 1 goal lead, as it was a mistake 2 days ago.… Read more »
