Tommaso Pobega will leave Milan on loan again, as the club want to him to get more playing time.

Pobega returned to Milan after two seasons on loan at Ternana and Pordenone, where he did well.

However, after evaluating him in training for several weeks, Milan – it seems – have decided to send him on loan again.

As reported by Milannews.it’s Antonio Vitiello, the player – who recently extended his contract with the club until 2025 – has requests from several teams like Crotone, Hellas Verona and Genoa.

The desire is to keep him in Serie A so he can gain experience at the highest level. The mercato is open in Italy until October 5 and so there’s enough time for Pobega to find a new team.

They didn’t give him enough chances in pre season, but it’s true that it’s hard for him to find playing time with Kessie, Bennacer, Tonali, Krunic and a possible mr. X. But Pobega is very talented

Our above average youth players should be loaned out to serie a clubs (pobega & gabbia) or serie b clubs (bellodi, maldini & colombo) to gain experience.

The level in Primavera is just not good enough to develop youth players. I hope there are plans to eventually form a milan u23 side that will compete in the lower divisions like they do in spain and germany.

The level in Primavera league is not Pro like in serie C or B, but that doesn’t mean they can’t produce talented players. I don’t think Gabbia, Pobega, Maldini and Colombo are just above average players, they are just inexperienced talented players, exactly like it was Locatelli or maybe Cutrone who scored almost 20 goals in serie A with a weaker and defensive Milan than now. I’ve seen Bellodi against Novara and Monza, very good defender, better than Duarte, but without experience, without minutes in his legs.

This is why I say Milan need to use their young players throughout the season. When games are 3 to 0, put them in. Hell even if we are in a bind, put them in.

I just disagree on Gabbia but yes all these young talents should be loaned out.

Why…
I’d rather save the 30mil of Bakayoko and keep Pobega
Bennacer-Kessie starting pivots, Tonali-Pobega (hoped Bresciniani as well) 3rd and 4th

And your team will loose. These boys have talent but I they are still green so loan will help them grow. .

21 with two full professional seasons progressively in the third and second tier is not exactly green in modern football.
