nice through ball by ibra and nice ball control and lay off by rebic. how awesome are those 2? for a second i thought i was watching prime cantona and young giggs again. shame hakan couldnt put the ball in the net”
nice giggs-esque dribbling and crossing by rebic, nice cantona-esque heading by ibra.
if anyone wants to see how elite lone st play, look no further than ibra’s performance tonite. nice finishing, passing/playmaking and post playing. awesome stuff

What a dominant team Pioli made. I don’t want to ignore Ibra’s effect (it’s pretty obvious) but I see kessie-Bennacer as the most influential aspect of this new Milan. It was easy from the beginning… Put every player in his natural position and let them gel together. Kessie is back to DM, Hakan is finally playing as AM and Leao is using his speed at the wings.

I can’t agree with that because we lost to Genoa with Ibra after the break and we looked horrible in that game.

The majority of the credit has to be given to Pioli. Ibra and Kjær played their part as experience players but Pioli and his staff is now getting the formation, tactics and gameplan right including his substitutions and how he is managing Leao.

milan lost to genoa BEFORE the break and thats because theyre still adapting to playing with no crowds. besides, who coached milan in that match? or in that 5-0 drubbing vs atalanta? pioli’s milan looked attractive even in his 1st match as milan coach vs lecce but in that match, and matches after that before ibra arrived, they lacked cutting edge player who could take them to next level with his goalscoring prowess, tactical intelligence and most importantly, leadership. the numbers dont lie; ibra is the main reason for milan’s revival. put it this way, ibra’s so good that he… Read more »

lol i really loved the way rangnick’s groupies disrespected ibra claiming he’d never score 10 goals for milan this season. well, don vito corleone was right when he said, “spoilt kids, they talk when when they should listen (to milan10)”
as for les midtables who said leao is niang 2.0, milan should sell kessie, turkish kebab and all that crap, remember this: when u think u know football better than milan10, DONT

Do I need to tell you the resume Niang had when he joined Milan? Leao is an exciting prospect but so far he is still on Niang’s level at his current age. Leao has done NOTHING to deserve any praise, he is very good for his age, that’s it. Calm down. It’s like you rate him above Rebic and your comparisons about Henry are exaggerated . I thought Ibra would flop, but he deserves praise as the fantastic player he still is. Kessie and Calhanoglu are very good players, they are improving. Kessie is not a regista, he is doing… Read more »

lol. first of all, if u watched football u’d know niang’s actually pretty good this season before covid break. second of all, if u watched football u’d know leao is much better dribbler, speedster and finisher than niang. third of all, i compare leao’s style gameplay to henry not his performance level. i also compare rebic to sheva but i said back then if rebic ever reach 80% of sheva’s level then he’ll be great. im not saying rebic and leao are on sheva/henry level but anyone who watches football knows their styles are very similar. lastly, congrats to rino… Read more »

“Niang is average at best.” and ur so sure of this because…? ur ego dictates u to say that? here’s a FACHT: niang scored 15 goals this season. thats more than any milan player not named andre silva. here’s another FACHT: niang’s club, rennes, finished 3rd thus they’ll be playing in ucl play off next season. niang is pretty good. his off the field antics were pretty dumb but no way he’s worse than borivaldo or kalinimovic. the hype of niang? i dont remember anyone from milan, definitely not capable sd like maldini, buying niang for >25m. i dont remember… Read more »

Carlos Bacca says hi, with one of the worst Milan of the decade.   Niang is an average player, and I think everyone else but you can agree on that.   “ur ego dictates u to say that?” That’s literally you mate. One Milan10 is enough for this blog.   Leao is hyped, not saying overhyped, I’m saying that in football, the talking is done on the pitch, he is doing very good for his age and being a newcomer.   Piatek arrived and scored consistently, then he flopped. This team has grown a lot and with the right summer transfers we can even challenge Juventus for the scudetto.

I’m very happy with the team’s performance and I’m looking forward to next season with great enthusiasm. Pioli has exceeded my expectations and he is final proving himself capable of being a top manager.

My utmost respect to Pioli as I am now a believer that he can do great things at AC Milan.

Pioli was given a contract until 2022 right? That’s a mistake. Pioli has managed well the team in this disaster, that shows his experience as a tactician and how good can he manage the bench. He just got a good run, Montella had one and Rino had one. I think the great results against Juve and Atalanta overhyped fans and the management . Don’t get me wrong I’m 100% agree that he deserves to stay, but not because Milan is playing like Atalanta, it’s just for continuity’s sakes. I’ll sound like a broken record, but it’s thanks to Ibra and… Read more »

I can’t agree with that because we were playing much better before the break except for the games against Atalanta last December and derby collapse against inter. You could easily see that once Pioli took over from Giampaolo our overall game play was better. Pioli just needed time to get the team on the right track. we were just unfortunate not to get the results. Calhanoglu, Kessié, Bennacer, Leao, Rebic and Castellijo improved a lot thanks to Pioli. These players struggled under Giampaolo. Pioli and his staff finally got it right and we must be give him credit for it.… Read more »

Yes, I totally agree. But I have a theory that the fans also played a part. Even if only 10-20%. Most of the team are young, I Think crowd attendance that went from average 53.957 people season 19/20 to almost zero, gave the players the chance to play more calmly & find their game.

That might be factor but we lost 2-1 to Genoa at the San Siro and we were horrible in an empty stadium. That was our first game after the COVID-19 break. Something changed after that game and I’m 100% certain that it has nothing to do with the empty stadiums and or Ibrahimović. The team improved tactically and Pioli improved our movement on and off the ball. We are pressing teams and winning back the ball in our opponents half. We had more possession than Atalanta. Just imagine if we had Theo and Bennacer? We are playing more intelligent with… Read more »

he WOULD be an upgrade because his numbers (points per game) are proven to be SLIGHTLY higher than pioli. i never deny that. hell, i’ve watched rangnick’s leipzig and schalke and his 4-4-2 and high pressing is exactly what milan was during their heydays. however, sacking pioli and thus maldni and ibra with him would’ve messed up milan’s continuity hence i think in the end milan did well keeping pioli. i dont just rub it on everyone’s face, only the people who deserve it. i’ve been generally polite to u and fellow other milanisti like dejan10, milanista121, mathijs pasalic, ink… Read more »

Great result by the boys to conclude a wonderful run since the season’s return. One more match to go, but one with little to zero significance. There’s still plenty of time to give conclusions, and discuss who’s more influential Pioli or Zlatan, and how great this or that improved. But, not wanting to throw cold water on the party we must remember- 1. Our wonderful run was essentially in garbage time for us, with little pressure as we had very little to fight for. 2. Add to 1 the fact that matches had no crowds. So again, less pressure. 3.… Read more »
