paolo il bandiera as striker. now we’re talking
in all seriousness, the fact that stupioli keeps using 4-2-3-1 with hacan’t and bonad10nho as fantasisti when with 4-4-2 milan won 5 times in a row and never lost is disgusting
Hahaha had completely missed that one, yeah that would be quite interesting to see 😀
Think i’ll let the coach decide for himself but against a team like lecce it atleast would make more sense to me as well to play with two upfront even if only to field colombo or the young maldini next to rebic, Leao need to show some more hunger so id still bench him untill 2nd half.
well, too bad its been changed to daniel again haha. how i wish i could see paolo play again for one last time wearing that eternal #3. im sure he wouldnt do worse defensively than milan current fullbacks. yeah, using 4-2-3-1 vs strong teams is understandable as even ance sometimes used his famous xmas tree formation vs barca etc but why get nervous and be a coward vs lecce of all teams when 4-4-2 has proven to be winning way? so far rebic has been scoring by attacking empty spaces left by defenders attracted to ibra or just being the… Read more »
no doubt and couldnt agree more we need to show courage and dominance against atleast on paper weaker oppositions.
correctamundo mate. i watched inter and atalanta games last nite and their 3/4ista-supporting-2 st systems were very devastating and joy to watch; their attack looked way deadlier than juve (juve were deadly too earlier this season with dybala as 3/4ista supporting pipita – penaldo. but then again, before playing dybala as 3/4ista, sarri the idiot had tried bernardeschi the winger there too to abysmal results).
milan mgmt needs stop fooling around and make getting am like odegaard/szoboszlai/goetze/ceballos and proven young st like jovic/isak their priority so milan attack can be as potent as those of atalanta’s or inter’s
yeah i agree and as ive allready said im more than intrigued by rangnick joining us and same goes for some of the potential transfers potentially arriving
In other news, Berlusconi is after Daniel Maldini and Alessandro Sala for Monza… Next thing you know they’ll be in Serie A finishing above us in the table.
Even though i would be a bit worried in regard of daniel if paolo leaves the club its propably not very likely to happen anyways as he has a four year contract and regardless of his fathers fate his will propably still be linked with ac milan. He is in the top 100 of the players potentially wining the golden boy award so milan propably wont sell him or atleast i hope that wont be the case. When that is said i wouldnt be too surprised or for that matter opposed to loaning him out to monza for a year… Read more »
do u know who monza’s allenatore is? none other than berlu’s very own yes man broccoli. now, if berlu – kojak – broccoli unholy trinity ever lead monza to serie a and finish above milan even for just one giornata then thats it for milan. they better just disband harakiri style because there’s no greater shame than that
I think that’s what they’re aiming at – phoenix from the ashes 1986-style. They should get Kevin Constant and Zapata at the back and Matri up front for guaranteed success.
We need to win at all cost… We need to also stop switching off play after taking the lead..
Look at Atalanta yesterday, they were 4 nill up and attacking like they were the ones losing
That is the mentality I want to see today… There isnt going to be any home advantage as we are all tecnically playing on a neutral ground.
Forza Milan
Rebic is good and tireless but he is being wasted playing as a lone striker up there. The way he moves and making those tireless runs makes him a great supporting player. Dunno who to put next to him, Ibra is out and Leao is just slacking. I also noticed Kessie is having a good game position wise, he contributes in both defensive and attacking phases. He seem to play more with his head than his physics tonight
Well… No wonder he played more with his head than his physics because he’s gained weight. Just look at his waist area. I know his nickname was Frank The Tank but now his more than a tank. He’ll get injured soon if he doesn’t get fitter…
I don’t think it is the case, he was everywhere running inside, on the flank, tracking back. But most importantly he was were he needed to be on most of the occasions and dictated the game well. He overshadowed Bennacer last night imo
Brilliant performance at Leece. Kessie dictated the tempo of the game and dominated the midfield, his presence was crucial for Milan to keep possession and move the ball quickly around the field.
Cahanoglu MOTM performance. Gabbia lack experience and Milan might need to loan him out to a smaller team in Serie A to get him some more experience. He’s not quite there yet to be a starter at Milan.
Considering the poor amount of playing time he had, he was quite decent and played with cool head. That was not a penalty imo, poor call from referee
Hakan played his natural position in the hole and guess what, the performance earned him the MOTM title. A shocking revelation that is.
due to dispute between them and saudi – serie a connection, beinsports has decided not to broadcast serie a matches indefinitely hence i couldnt watch lecce – milan (i watched villarreal – sevilla instead, which was great game btw). i find it amusingly ironic that i could watch the greatest club side ever assembled competing in greatest league for free on local tv back then but now i cant even watch this sorry ass version of them even when i have paid for it. alas, im glad that pioli channeled his inner milan10ian by playing kessie as dm and hakan… Read more »
What happen with this blog
Is a one man job, and the man must be busy
the essence 4-2-3-1 are fast flanks receiving ball from the middle sent by ballplaying playmaker(s) and lone st who is a post player, and the fast flanks in return send/cross the ball into the box. i didnt see all that from milan in 1st half. hell, the flanks couldnt even prevent roma players from sending crosses into milan penalty box. horrible 1st half. for gods sake pioli, bring on leao for his pace
We started playing better after 20 minutes or so, but in general we have trouble going forward. Jack should track back and help with the build up to get us the numbers in the mid. What’s the point of 5 midfielders if we can’t control the middle?
Paquetta is so far wonderful since his entrance
nice goal by rebic. what a great combination by paqueta and saladmaker before that as well. paqueta and saladmaker sometimes are still naive pulling unnecessary tricks when simple basic things would suffice but they have vision and passing accuracy, unlike bonad10nho
nice marauding run by theo that resulted in penalty for milan
Great result, good 2nd half by the boys. Still weird watching matches without a crowd…
congrats to milan for the win. slow garbage 1st half but they made up for it in 2nd half after the introduction of paqueta and saladmaker who brought pace, directness and vision into milan game.
p.s. andre silva outscores kalinimovic again this season
