Just watched highlights of match, what was theo doing on first goal conceded. Never mind losing ball in first place but couldn’t be bothered to sprint back and make a challenge!i think some of these players aren’t fighters and have given up thinking bout going away on holiday already.

In addition to Theo’s “efforts” in both goals, look at Gabbia & Kessie. What on Earth are they doing? Running around like headless chickens instead of marking their man properly (you know, being between the player and own goal – not behind the player). Absolutely amateurish mistakes. Just plain awful defending. Well…. Actually you can’t even use the word “defending” here since it was quite the opposite here.

I don’t know why every player that join us somehow get unmotivated. The only coach who did actually motivate them was Gattuso but he wasn’t good enough for most fans & our directors.

The disaster started when we decided to get rid of him and replacing him with Giampaolo. Then another small team coach. Piatek, Suso, Paqueta were all performing under Gattuso but look where this management took us.

I blame Boban and Maldini to this nightmare at Milan. Regardless of what Gazidis Is doing they should have kept their mouths shut and not discuss anything in the media. The best solution would be for them to confront Gazidis in private behind closed doors to get clarification around the Rangnick situation. I respect them as past players but they don’t seem to have much intelligence when it comes to business matters. If experience was such a big deal for them then they should have stuck with Gattuso and gave him the 2-3 experience players he asked for instead taking… Read more »

When you have no experience doing a job, you make simple mistakes that turn into a disaster. We can blame Maldini or Boban but at the end, it’s gazidis who gave them the job. On the other hand, Maldini knew gazidis plan so he can’t be all surprised with this no over 24 signings that he is pressuring them to do. So in general we are screwed because every single one of them made mistakes in last year. Gazidis hired inexperienced directors. They signed inexperienced coaches and we lost another year. From my point of view, wrong or right, Gazidis… Read more »

are u guys through pleasing each other? maldini/boban complied with this stupid youth project and thus milan started this season as one of the youngest squads in europe. the relatively young stars including ben, rebic, piatek, samu, kessie etc then failed horribly because they had weak mentality and its only after ibra’s arrival that the squad seem to have self believe and purpose. people who actually know football like leonardo, rino, maldini and boban acknowledge the importance of having experienced star players but guess who blocked ibra (and modric) move multiple times? considering how garbage arsenal was during nazidis’ leadership,… Read more »

If they compiled then it means they accepted that they can reach UCL with current style. So either they failed or they were inexperience enough to not know that it’s impossible to reach such a goal with this very young squad. You sound like a fanboy of Maldini who simply can’t see his flaws as a director.

lol a turk living in germany being rangnick’s groupie, who would’ve thought. actually i have acknowledged maldini’s mistake of hiring giamfanculo since after 1st match vs udinese. they messed up but, unlike previous mgmt, they were quick to correct it by acting swiftly axing giamfanculo. how should they have known giamfanculo’s coward who abandoned his own system after just one match? and guess who didnt provide the fund to buy proper players for 4-3-1-2 like correa, modrid etc? aside from that mistake, maldini’s moves in mercato has been solid and his targets make so much sense: de paul, todibo, olmo,… Read more »

“Anyone who understands football knows that” how exactly you reached such an assumption that everyone should have same view of you?

Maldini either knew and got us in this trouble or didn’t know so he isn’t qualified. Gattuso saw the problem, he was smart, he left. Maldini stayed and accepted the situation and failed. It’s not about signings its about UCL and he and all of our staff failed. Love is blind and you are in love. That’s why you are making things personal between us.

“how exactly you reached such an assumption that everyone should have same view of you?“ maldini’s mercato: theo, ben, ibra, leao, rebic etc. fassobelli’s mercato: hakan, conti, kalinic, borini etc. do i really have to mention galli’s last few mercati? so yeah, anyone who understands football knows that. if u think fassobelli and latter days galli did better job than maldini then i rest my case. “Maldini either knew and got us in this trouble or didn’t know so he isn’t qualified” maldini knows exactly what milan problem is: lack of quality coach and players hence he refuses rangnick and… Read more »

What the hell are you talking about? Who said anything about those names you are mentioning. Just because our last directors were garbage, it doesn’t mean our current director is a saviour. Maldini isn’t even in top 100 football directors around the world. Even Masara has more experience and qualities than him. Maldini didn’t even sign Theo. He was direct suggestion from Gazidis right hand man! Continuing this conversation has no point. Your unrelated comments are flying around and you can’t even think of being wrong. Gladly Our uneducated and inexperience former legends will be out soon. I will welcome… Read more »

are u slow? i was comparing maldini’s work with fassobelli’s and galli’s so i mentioned their activities in mercato, which players they bought and whatnot. how else would u compare a work of sporting director? its not like theyre directly responsible for what happens during 90 mins of actual matches. theyre not coaches or players. like i said, leo, maldini, boban and rino realized the importance of experienced players (hence they targetted modric, ts33 and ibra) and they repeatedly wanted to buy good but expensive players like milinkovic savic or correa. in his autobiography alex ferguson said that its better… Read more »

Commentator of ESPN said something that we don’t pay enough attention.

He was talking about how Milan make weird decisions, he said, you sell Piatek and Suso, both of your goalscorers of last season, and you settle for Ibra who is clearly struggling to score?.

There is a clear trend, Loca Cutrone Suso Piatek. Those where important assets for the present and future.
What if in the summer Donna leaves? It’s is fair to assume that Milan became a feeder club?

It’s official, Milan has one month to get their shit together. Pioli you get what others didn’t have, now do something.

Also, Boban is to demand his severance package, Gazidis says no because of contract breaching. Maldni, now is the time to act like the captain you still are.

They were all trash. Current squad is mostly trash as well. Even your golden boy theo is trash defensively. Zlatan is expuired. We only collect garbage players that other teams don’t want anymore. I don’t even know why I waste my time talking about this. There is no hope… Until they sell the club

What do you mean “what IF Gigio leaves?”? Is there anyone anywhere anymore who would think that he’s ready to waste his extraordinary career to stick around for infinite number of year zeros? He deserves better. He deserves Champions League (somewhere else than in Juve).

great point. No players is above Milan. He isn’t the only young & talented goalkeeper in Serie A. If he stays he should accept pay cut. 6M is too much for him. He is good but not that much better, compare to goalkeepers earning quarter of what he makes. We also have Plizzari.

i said “im milanista not donnaista” in 2016 when donna refused to sign contract extension but now that he’s repeteadly said he wants to stay then he deserves payraise. if gk like kepa can earn that much then surely donna deserves it too. milan is not feeder club

how much did arnault pay though, because some news claimed that roma’s new owner friedkin group offered 1b to buy milan but eldiot refused it

Not really. We are a mess in & outside the field. Atalanta will not lose the amount of point needed for us and we are not in a place to gain that much. Roma & Atalanta are direct rivals for 4th place. With Napoli following them. I think we will be 7th or 8th at the end.

Hope everyone is staying safe and doing well! As rumors start to return the name rangnick also comes with it. All this time off has given me thought about it and it might not be so bad to have him and in control. Obviously not at the expense of Maldini because I somehow want them working together. But in terms of rangnick himself he is similar to that of Conte. He will arrive if he’s guaranteed players and players that he wants. He’s very demanding of top quality players that fit a system and look how well that worked for… Read more »
