giampaolo should be sued for sending cutrone away and i wish piatek wasnt such a snowflake who couldnt stay and fight for his position like a real man. dont get me wrong, leao – rebic combo will be fantastic; both are fast, skillful and they possess good passing and shooting ability, but who’ll be the reserve st? like i said, respectable club should have at least 4 st available

Let’s be honest
Piatek wasn’t gonna get ahead of Ibra for the rest of this season
And he wants to get called up for the euros
So he needed to leave to get some regular game time

ibra wanted to play in wc ‘06 too but he fought for his spot at juve vs bona fide legends trezegol and del piero instead of running away like little brat. hell, even inzaghi had to sit on the bench sometimes

It was Maldini who sent him away, I hope he learned the lesson, it’s not up to any coach act as the sporting director.

I get it that it’s no use to spend money on a player who doesn’t fit the Coach’s plan. But F, Cutrone and Ibra… Imagine the motivation the kid would have felt.

nope. sd works according to coach’s needs and demands. giamfanculo wanted ss to serve piatek and am so milan brought in leao and rebic at the expense of cutrone and silva

Capiani is the CF/ST and best scorer in the youth team at the moment, he also has some seria A game time from back in Lazio i think. So why not take him for the bench in this game, Maldini is a wing it makes no sense. This is the problem in Milan certain players are always favorized. I bet he wont play Paqueta either.

too soon perhaps. i hope in next 1-3 years good primavera players like capanni, maldini, brescianini, plizzari will be milan’s regular though.

“He gets an enormous erection when he’s right” so ur basically saying i get erection ALL THE TIME. come on mate, not even superman would be able to do that.
“RB is more fun with people like him” like i said, i’ll guide milan and milanisti, kicking and screaming, and in the end u’ll thank me for it. even u who in the past said “forza rino” and “maldini sucks” now start to be a little bit more milan10ian *wink

TONITE ON LIKE MILAN10 SAID: “ Milan10 well, personally i wouldnt sell ric rod, piatek and suso now because milan squad is already paper thin as it is (check out milan squad vs torino) and theres simply not enough time to find proper replacements. with european compt on the line milan need any help they can get. selling them in summer mercato would be much more reasonable. but i still trust maldini/boban. Vote Up 1 Vote Down   Reply 2 days ago” “Milan10 This doesnt make any sense; Cutrone is perfect back up for piatek. Back then milan had massaro,… Read more »

actually, it only took me <2-3 mins to find and copy paste those comments because i remember exactly when/where i wrote them; on articles about piatek’s and cutrone’s departures. just simple case of search and copy paste. also, i must add that being busy is actually a simple case of bad time mgmt, so yeah

p.s. only first timers and amateurs use jelly mate

Milan10 despite your craziness lol I have agreed a lot with you. I’ve said from the start cutrone was better than piatek. He could score with every part of his body and had better link up play. Milan coaches and management like to stay in the past. Play the young players when they are performing. How does cutrone not even get a chance to be the main forward despite showing he deserved a chance. Instead we wasted money to ruin our future prospects bc of old Italian style coaching styles. Cutrone, petagna, locatelli, christante, bellanova and soon gabbia are all… Read more »

“i have agreed a lot with you.” well, like henry ford used to say, “whether u think u can or not, if u agree with milan10 then ur absolutely right”. congrats mate.
to this day i still hate old milan mgmt for letting toldo go. seeing him in inter jersey annoyed me so much. i agree milan need to let deserving primavera players play in specific matches, or at least get dry loaned so they can hone their skills and experience and come back stronger like costacurta, del piero or beckham

I didn’t understand why he called Maldini who is AM/SS and not Capanni who is SS/ST. Or Pecorino, or Tonin, a real ST on the bench… Paqueta can play SS, but we don’t have a ST on the bench !

Bro, u know why it was Maldini that was called up and not any of the typical strikers.

Martin Bernhard

I agree Alexmilan Capanni would have made more sense to have been called up but on the positive side it does look rather likely that we will see maldini getting his debut in serie a which should make us all exited to behold.

Young players shouldn’t be called in hard times , Maldini has already been called. But if they call Capani or Picorino for their first time and had to use them and they didn’t do well it can reduce their confidence ! Coach doesn’t want to ruin a kid’s carreer with the high pressure in San Siro.
Otherwise , the more important thing for me is that they stay , i hope they don’t sell them for a couple mills. I think they will be called after the derby. Cause they can’t wait forever anyway.

Rossi

Lol so he will ruin their career if he actualy give them a chance on the bench in case Leao (only one who can play as CF at the moment) gets injured ? Also Capiani already has played in Seria A with Lazio, Maldini has not and is not a CF or ST so he will be played out of position if there is a need for sub.

Actually youth players should be called up in games like these. When playing against small teams we should have at least one to 2 primavera players either starting or on the bench. How else will you know if a player can play if he…… wait for it……. doesn’t play!!!! Every badass young player we have seen the past 2-3 yrs have all gotten to play a few games during the year. You can’t show what you can do by never playing

Perfect result for us with Cagliari and parma drawing and Roma looking like losing. That will put us into a legit 6th place, which out of of context doesn’t look great however when we think where we were two months ago…….

Ibra is out. No natural striker on the field. Not a single striker of any kind on the bench. I guess the “I Told you so” moment, came sooner than I expected.

I have a problem with Milan selling the only back up striker it has and not signing a better replacement. we turned to a financial firm and our only concern is money. We sold an asset in the winter transfer window to gain money. and please don’t give me that he wanted to leave bullshit. he has a contract. an strong management would never let such a thing happen (Cavani & Neymar situation at PSG. Willian Situation at Chelase and…). So no I have no problem with Selling Piatek But the only reason we sell a player should be to… Read more »

I completely agree. Dude you took the words out of my mouth. It honestly frustrates me how so many fans don’t see something so obvious.

I’m all for selling piatek but no replacement on bench is ridiculous and dangerous.

Emmy Apache

I have nothing to say now until after the match because Maldini with his inexperience management has destroyed milan imagine selling striker without back up?
How many strikers does Juventus or inter and other clubs have but we are quick to sell ours

Why are people who are pointing this out getting thumbs down? The man is right management screwed us with this. He is pointing out the obvious. I swear these die hard management fans kill me. It’s like a big F off to milan. Management can do no wrong. Milan should have signed a back up striker they lost all there transfer targets and we have to rely on 3 starters to not get injured. “no but we saved money in the next transfer window we will sign someone better”.. How about this season. Im only saying this because we are… Read more »

Milan should hire Antony and Lizieiro from Sao Paulo. From Arrascaeta do Flamengo. Willian Jose from Real Sociedad, Paulinho from Bayern Leverkusen and Pedro Geromel and Kanneman from Gremio

Milan’s case will always be different, how on earth can a club like Milan depend on a 38 yr old striker without a backup, on which planet is it done, I don’t know how long ibra is out but I don’t think leao and relic can carry this team esp now that tougher opponents are coming up, I just don’t understand this club anymore

Thumb downers do you see what lack of no striker on the bench turned out to be, leao was just walking around the pitch and didn’t attack any single cross cos he knows no one is subbing him….how can a team sell a striker with no backup when it is clear the managers prefers 2striker formations…Milan is not serious, when they finally get serious we will know

***IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME OUT ****

I’m going to attend the milan-juve coppa italia match at San siro for the first time. Going with the wife, what would be the best seats? Currently looking at primo anello Rosso section. Any help would be appreciated!!

soheil balini
Guest
soheil balini

Middle seats of San Siro are my favorites (sector 224 to 235). you should also avoid the ultras. it’s not something you want to attend with your wife. of course if she is into standing for 90 minutes, then I’m wrong . Primo Verde would be a good choice if you want a behind the goal seat. (I hope the sector numbers are still the same.)

MilanEstonia
Guest

The red and orange sectors are the best. Have good viewing angles and decent too. Like Soheil said, avoid the ultras[ the blue section] but it’s kinda fun to see how they react all game so don’t go too far away from them hahaa.

Enjoy your game!

I think IBRA and kjears’ lay off are technical related, being that the derby is just around the corner. Bennecers suspension was perfectly timed and orchestrated too….
Milan had no striker in piatek and no replacement even when IBRA arrived, piatek leaving add nor sub anything. I believe we will do just fine……forza milan
