Krzysztof Piątek has signed for Hertha and he will be wearing the #7 shirt.
Yesterday the deal was struck and today Piątek, who only joined Milan last season from Genoa, signed the contract at the German club Hertha BSC.
“Milan announces the agreement with Hertha for the definitive transfer of the player Piątek to the German Club,” a statement on the Rossoneri’s site reads.
“The Club would like to thank the player for his professional commitment and wishes him all the best for his future career.” Piątek’s start to his Milan career was heavenly, as he carried his form from Genoa. However, this season, with the number 9 on his back, he disappointed hugely.
In 41 appearances in the Milan shirt, the Polish striker scored 16 times. He will try to get back to scoring with the Hertha shirt, who are believed to have paid €27-28m for him and doubled his salary.
Berlin is a nice city. Wishing Piatek the very best.
Hopefully Milan will get a new owner who is more serious about retorting Milan to greatness.
The last few ownership has been a big disappointment.
Terrible move! Piatek is a goal scorer and Milan sold him at loss and betting on Ibra who is great but old. Piatek will be a scoring machine in Berlin – at Milan, he didn’t get any service. It’s not the strikers, it’s the midfield we need to get better. Shame.
They did not sell him at loss. They just didn’t make any profit.
They did lose money on him but that’s AC Milan now, overpay, damage the player and then sell him at loss. Same with Rodriguez.

Really sorry to see him leave us and i feel confident to say that when he soon regains his confidence he will start scoring lots of goals again. Pretty sure this deal will come back to haunt us but best of wishes to piatek.
I surely won’t miss his stupid goal celebration. Cringy AF. Anyone who doesn’t want to wear this prestigious shirt can get the fuck out.
