Ricardo Rodríguez’s time at Milan is over as he is set to join the Turkish side.

Rodríguez has lost his place in the starting XI of Milan this season, due to the amazing performances of Theo Hernandez.

With the EURO’s coming up in the summer, the Swiss international, who plays a pivotal role for his country, wants to play with consistency at a club-level and therefore he is now saying goodbye to Milan and to coach Stefano Pioli.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia, Alfredo Pedullà of Sportitalia and others: Rodriguez has made up his mind and he will join Fenerbahçe. Both Fener and PSV agreed a deal with Milan: a loan with obligation to buy for €5, which would allow the club avoid a loss on Rodriguez.

Fenerbahçe offered Rodriguez a higher salary than PSV. The adventure of Ricardo at Milan ends after two and a half years. The Rossoneri could bring back Diego Laxalt from Torino to replace RR.

Ric rod i wish you the best

i will celebrate the day they sell Hakan

Good luck man. Is Laxalt on loan form us? Get him back

Rosso Joburg

How is it his value has dropped 70% since he has been with us? We have to have the worst selling record of any team in the last decade.

I dont get it last sesson he was a back in serieA…..
We are doing such bad piece of transactions. Where will you get a leftback at his level for 5million……

Rosso Joburg

We won’t. We will get a youngster with potential for $15m that a random club will be super happy to be rid of only to sell him on in 12/24 months for $5m when he isn’t a super star starter.

Think positively: Milan won’t be paying his salary and he won’t be leaving on a free transfer. Those are trademark Milan moves nowadays.

Rosso Joburg

Meanwhile we have gone from having 3 quality left backs at the beginning of the season to 1. Will have Calabria covering both fullbacks.

Solid performer most of the times, wish you the best pal.
